Hello,
i just got my HTC diamond, using it in french !
I need to send sms in CYRILLIC as i did with my Sony w880i (just choosing the language while writing sms)
Is it possible to activate a russian keyboard in sms menu, and also to add a cyrillic alphabet in word for example !?
I'm looking for it on the forum, but i didn't find yet any topic about this specific request...
Thank you very much for help !!!!!
Russian input
It''s only a standart VGA keyboard russification. Enjoy
Installation !?
Thanks for the file...
But after i installed it, it seems that i still can't choose the russian keyboard
I still have my standard ones (french, spanish, italian, english and german)
I found a solution !!!
For the ones who are interested... page 4, rus2.cab to install on diamond, and it works fine

Sms in Russian
I tried to install in my HTC Touch Diamond several different keybord in order to be able to write sms in russian/cyrillic. All of them are perfectly working, with outocomplete words,....
But my problem is that when I send the sms to another mobile, my text cannot be recognised: all the letters will become "?". Is this because my Diamond is in Italian and can't recognize cyrillic caracters?
Can anyone help me to solve this problem? I need to write Sms in Russian.
Thanks in advance

So you think that there's no chance to write sms in cyrillic from my HTC Diamond? But I'm sure that exist the russian version of this mobile. Why can't it recognize cyrillic?
You can try Microinvest Micron 2.5 keyboard. It's free and supports cyrillic keyboards (russian and bulgarian) as well as the standard english layout. It comes in two distinct versions (which are actually separate installations):
Standard - with the size ot standard input panel and
Touch - specially suited for finger typing.
It also has support for VGA displays (such as the Touch Diamond).
You can choose among 4 integrated skins (i like Vista best). More info here:

Or download directly from here:

i dont know how to change language HTC kaiser 130. im new user of WM phones
pls any sort procedure how to change language in enlish?
Please help me to read/input Korean!
I have been doing studying with this forum that I can change my locale in the registry to change the characters in 3Dflo but my language comes out as square, not actual character. I was thinking that it is definitely missing fonts. I also would like to read emails and send emails in korean if possible.
If you can resolve this issue and all the settings, I definitely am in mood for donating!! Please help!
My phone is HTC CDMA Diamond from Telus.
Thanks very much!!
You will need two things: 1) Korean language support to display characters (just a font file + FontLink registry settings), and 2) Korean IME to input/write Korean characters.
There are different solutions to both parts (Diopen, SmartCJK, Asukal, etc) but none seem to be perfect.
Some info and suggestions:

Thanks
I tried diopen, and it does not even install in my HTC Telus diamond.
Second, CJK, I can not find korean fonts in official sites.
They only said about the chinese and japanese.
Please let me know where I can purchase them or download them.
The link provided is only for the chinese input.
Thanks for your help but need more info... thanks
Hello everyone.
First of all, I would like to say that this forum and this community are one of the bests I've ever encountered before.
After that, I've got a couple of questions that would help me finaly buy this Diamond...
1°) Using a lot my email account, and knowing it's a Windows Live one, will it work on the 'Mail' tab in TF3D? Or do I have to go all the way through programs==> Windows Live? Will it work as a standard Windows Live Mail like on my Pc?
2°) Also I would like to know if a French version supports Greek characters for texting.
Thank you for your replies.
Edit : Also, being a fan of Microsoft, I own a Zune, & a Xbox 360. Is there any interaction possible? Especially with the Zune Software on my PC (Replaces WMP11 for my Zune device and is a kick ass) ?
Regards.
A.
Answer 1) I use the Live function of my phone, and it integrates fully with the TouchFlo 3D so yes, it works as normal email just settings are done through the Live application (which is brought up when you go into normal email settings anyway).
Answer 2) I can't say for French roms but I have a English ROM Diamond and the Greek letters are on there, just stashed way down on the symbols list.
I hope this helps. I don't know if you can Greek as a proper keyboard on an English or French ROM, but if you find out you can please let me know as this would be nice for me too.

Thanks for your response, I will look into it.
Anyone else, who owns a Zune could tell me if Zune software works with the Diamond?
Hi, pros!
My tmail (manila's mail) lack the Hebrew encoding. It's just not there in languages list (View -> Languages).
The Hebrew works great otherwise - I can see it in SMS, browser, calendar, keyboard; I can even switch the whole system to Hebrew.
I have the original ROM, in which it was OK, so probably I'll be able to rip it apart to get it from there, but the problem is I don't know where to look for the encodings.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
What hebrew r u using ?
Anyway, you can try hebrew for manila by ronenpg

arix, thanks for your reply!
I am using Eyron. I really don't want the Hebrew interface, all I need is Hebrew encoding for Opera/SMS/emails.
I m using Eyron as well (Orange Rom), and see good hebrew (Opera/SMS/emails) with manila or without it...
Yap, it worked well for me as well in Orange ROM. That's how I know it's possible
I have downloaded the original HTC ROM for Israel (I guess it's the Orange one), teared it appart, and can't find anything related to Eyron and/or Hebrew.
Strange.
Hi guys,
Do anyone have cab file that support hebrew only for sms?
You don't need a cab. Copy tahoma and tahomabd fonts from desktop's Windows/fonts to device's Windows.
