Really nice, but is the background logo on everything change-able? I like your rom allot, but it would be nice to have the option to change the logo like @ Slide2unlock.
Other then that, really nice! Best i've seen!

I am using your rom on my wing and by far this is the BEST.

I noticed with the last version you were pretty much limited to the software provided or you ran out of space due to the massive amount of tmo software that preinstalls. Yes, a 4mb pool and yes I soft reset before personalization for those who would ask. I was using the lite version. I liked it and all because it was wing compatible but ended up going back to the pediavet newest one instead because it just ran smoother. Maybe I am missing something since everyone else says this is the best.

the welcomescreen, slide2unlock, w/e is changable if you know how
twistedumbrella, I have no clue whatsover what you are talking about, limited space because of massive(???) amount of software??? Im dont think I see the point there , but you are free to use any roms, pdaviet, mine....or whatever rom you find that suits your needs
Remember I built the wing rom without having knowlege to it, and I had no way of testing it to see how it works.

Looks pretty slick - I like the black. Will VOIP be included as part of ROM?

Looks nice, esp. comm manager. Any chance of getting that as an individual cab? And how is the uber-optimized rom with the finger scrolling going along?

Stripped? You mean that the wifi button doesn't do anything? It's a small registry mixup. I think it's [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\CommManager\WLAN]
"DeviceName"="{98C5250D-C29A-4985-AE5F-AFE5367E5006}\\TNETWLN1"
(The bold being what you should change. Alternatively, you can try a newer ROM or a newer version of Touch-IT.

Can't wait, I'm using Touch It 2.3 right now and I love it. The only problem I have with it is the comm manager keeps popping up, but I read somewhere that that was a WM issue not the rom. Is there going to be a fix for that? Its not that big of an issue. One other question, might be kinda premature but, are you planning on building a rom around WM6.1 when it comes out in 08?

I would like to request a LITE version without a cube or Voice Speed Dial (with OEM Microsoft Voice Commander). Office 2007 is a must! I am running Open Touch it only for that reason, even though I love the Home screen/icons better on your 2.3. Thanks.

i thought that the wing was technically the HTC Atlas, which is functionally the same as the herald. I'll try out the wwe when it gets out though

yeah, maybe your right. And maybe I am
But as far as I know, the main diffrence in hardware is the keyboard, for some weird reason. My guess.....The wing is not properly "wired"
Even a the wing rom I made, that is based built on kaiser os, with all drivers and functionality from wing dont work on your device, but for some reason it works like hell on my p4350. Touch-IT for wing v2 is the fastest most responcive and stable os (besides my new norwegian rom witch up to now is my best) I have put on my phone, It even had some software im working on to put in my p4350 roms.
Only issue was the keyboard, but I had no problem at all reconfigure that back to normal.
Other then that, if I was to use a wwe rom personally, I would go for Touch-IT for wing v2. All the issues you guys have with it, I have none. And that is not just something I say, I was quite amazed that it worked so well.
But now im digging into ext.rom, and Im working on trying to have a option that after you flash the os, and the ext. rom starts, you can either soft reset to get p4350, or wing if you let ext rom install. But im not sure I can make it work as I want.
The idea is picked up from tom codons transformer os. where you can choose touch functionality, or just a clean vanilla rom.
ANd there is also the option with diffrent languages.
But I wish I could have found a way that would work similar to vista or xp, where you can choose from many languages.....maybe thats far fetched...lol
Now im at a point where I want to take my cooking to another "level" not just make "another" touch-wanna-be-device.
The one thing I have noticed is that many, after having in.ex the cube, finds it obsolete, if thats a good word to describe it. But many likes the touchflo.
So Im also working on making a touchrom, without the cube. But all I plan for takes mutch time, witch for the moment I dont have plenty off. My job demands pretty mutch, Im working aprox 15-20 hrs overtime every week, and sometimes saturdays and sundays too. And I am a musician, I play guitar, and that is a big part off who I am, so that takes time as well. And ofcourse my famely
I want to do mutch, but my time needs to be portioned out correctly
But I hope to do atleast some of the stuff I want to in a reasonable time. My next priority now is to build a new one for wing, and try to sort out some of the bugs that you guys get, for some strange reason. But its not easy, since it works so well on my herald, but you guys have diffrent bugs. So you see, fixing bugs on a wing rom, its quite a challenge for me, depending on feedback and help. If you want bugs fixed, you have to help me find out why the bugs happen, and even present me a sollutuion on how to fix it, cause you have a wing, I dont

Yeah theres definitely some inernal differences between the wing and herald. The Touch-it 2.0 really flies on mine, but i guess the wing is consistently inconsistent.

You've been working so much for the Wing now.. How about releasing TouchIT NOR 2.0 or TouchIT WWE with the HTC Album cooked in

lol, yeah Im working on that too.
But the thing is that translating the diffrent apps, consumes alot of time. I want to do this "all the way" as much as I can though..
Some of the apps I have tried to translate, just wont work, like in.ex networkwizard. but im working on it..
But its not far away.

lol. I think I know why you got all upset on the last ROM. You probably thought I was saying you didn't have the ability to port over WM6.1 to the herald. You probably didn't even think about what I was thinking, which was reformatting the DOC storage to gain the storage space of the ExtROM.
Good job, though. How stable is it so far? The Hermes release from PDAVIET seems pretty good, too. It's got a few issues, though. It's a different build than the one you have, though. Are any of the packages transferable to WM6?

i thought 6.1 was just for smartphones? what major changes did they make? looks nice, HUGE tease. one problem though, i dunno bout the allblack theme and the htc home theming, but thats just my opinion and they're both easily changeable

21128 ( from i900 ) build responds very well with GPS & Footprints applications.. I feel its quite fast with such heavy load of applications..

3. Can footprints be installed through a .cab? or does it have to be through ROM?

It just the dummy SQM (system quality metrics) .. MFC calls SQM quite oftem.. if we dummy it (dummy DLL always return 0 mainly custsat.dll) then we can increase the performance..

3) Footprints should be thru rom.. since lot of dependent software is required..

go for voyager.. GPS is well tested..

I flashed with Sumo here..
It appeared to be much much better GPS reception..
It seems most of the features are okay.
But there is a trouble in battery charging, it never charges fully or it indicates so..
Is it bug??

Battery shouldn't be an issue; just try removing ur battery then put back and charge again.

Ths for your concern..
This is info to you..
Although Soft Reset changes the battery non full charge indication to full, It always repeats the same..
It is annoying, not knowing if battery charged fully or not.
Making always SR to verify charge situ is out of question.
I have had no other option but, flashing with another ROM..
Ths anyway for your efforts and supports.
Ths all of you chefs making available to us all those great ROMs.

After all those tries of Cooked Roms appeared here, I found out that the best GPS reception (for my Jade) is with Sumo Voyager..
I want to flash again with this Rom.
Is it possible to fix the battery charging or battery indicator discussed above?

I made this ROM for one reason only, i got one million requests on it.
This is a 100% stable and MAX TWEAKED Swedish ROM with WM 6.1 and original manila 2.1 with background on all pages built in and 4 icons in a row start menu. i included the most "wanted" applications.
This is the FASTEST ROM i have ever runned, and its a everyday use ROM, pretty kind on the battery to

i must say that i had been using the tmobie us rom and was happier with it that any 6.5 rom i have run. the one drawback, a big one, was the inability to turn the screen of while a media player was running without the sound turning off as well.
Mort, Nitrogen, S2P, all the good ones lost this functionality in the cooked 6.1 roms i tried, which was mind numbing because my old tmobile wing could do this and so could the original touch pro.
i have been all over this forum advocating for this and letting everyone hear about it, when i had the time, and have yet to see it addressed. i would cream in my pannts and donate to get this working... seriously!
and yes, i would love to see your rom(with the above mentioned functionality) in wwe!

You can turn off the screen while listening to music only if you have the headset plugged in. This way it will keep playing music.

thanks for the help but i tried this already. it seems to function only with the auidio manager which is a resource hog and does not play all file types. i need nitrogen, s2p, mortplayer and others(like coreplayer, if wanted) to have this functionality.
i have tried all regisrty edits i could find and no luck. this is/was a simple function that my old phones can do(wing, tp1).

you are not alone, I have the same problem. In 6.1 roms I can use for music playing with switch of screen with headset only the WM player. All other playaers, nitrogen, coreplayer and also the T3D player stop working if I switch the screen off.

whats funny is i get so many responses on what to try and i have already tried everything but i dont think everyone has tested to see what i have described. so they all are being nice and giving recommendations but not checking for the bugs i described.
its a major flaw in my opinion.
