This is my hard work to make a diamond audio manager
its not perfect but its really time consuming so please be nice about it
so enjoy
THIS IS JUST A SKIN. NO PROGRAM FILES. YOU NEED TO INSTALL AUDIOMANAGER FIRST.
To Clarify, this is not for the diamond. It is for QVGA devices the picture of the diamond is just to show its diamond skinned

This is a skin for rlToday and htc home.
i have an easy install cab(with and without rltoday included)
i also will have a .zip folder that has all the files that you place in program files\rlToday and in the Windows\ folder for htc home and an HHC pack
the .cab is in the FILES TODAY THEME.zip

Yes I have a tilt now ... Still waiting for my wing i miss it but will keep the titl also for testing all Kaiser roms .....

The tilt is over rated .. I just love flashing and testing and it helps others. Now the diamond I did want untel damm i forget the name .. I will ask robert in the room he will remeber ... There is a better phone than the diamond from htc as well ....

(6/17/08) Diamond Manilla Audio Manager skin Final Uploaded

here u go guys, you requested manilla audio manager - you got it!! This version is complete, however this is not the actual Audio manager, this just a skin files, so you need to have HTC audio manager installed in ur device or built in the rom, for whom who has audio manager installed manually, you need to unzip the (poorlyduck Diamond audio manager.zip) and drag all the files to windows folder to replace the original ones, remember once you overwrite the original files there is no go back, either you need to have a backup of the original graphics or uninstall and install audio manager.
I also included a cab files for whom who has the audio manager built in, by installing the cab I believe all the graphics will be replaced with my skin and once you uninstall the cab and reboot, then automatically you go back to the original.
Please do not modify this skin and post it anywhere without my permission, if you are willing to built it in your rom then please add a credit and link back to the original thread.

Sweet! I've been waiting for this to complete the Diamond theme. Nice video, I like the effect that made me feel like I drank a bottle of whiskey!

if u need the latest one let me know, I can post it for u, then you can just drag the files and replace the original ones.

Camera app version 5 with descriptions

I've been through so many ROMs in past few weeks and I forgot where I saw the newer Camera (v.5.xxxx) with icon graphics with descriptions below, like the original kaiser Camera v.4.xxx used to have. I want to assemble my own new rom now, but i cant find that camera version now
Anyone can tell me which version has it? TIA!

I mean the "descriptions" below the top left icon on the camera's screen, where it show icon for video mode and says "Video", icon for photo mode and says "Photo" and so on
(I know i could in theory replace the graphics myself, but since its been already done by someone whats the point)

Almost all the ROMs currently have v5. The only one that i can think of is Austin's ROM which i tried and came with the 4 version.

kareem, I know all roms have v5 now, I just tested at least 50 of them
One of them had the icon graphics with the descriptions below, and stupid me, I didnt save any info for myself. Im not even sure now was it somebody's rom or was it just a cab i tried, which doesnt matter - just help me find it

I guess I have this version too (as HTC_CAMERA_5_04_2915) and IIRC my doesn't have those small "descriptions" underneath I'm looking for... unless it is some kind of mod?
(I see some goodies there, thanks for reminding me to look in your sig )

See how it says in letters "Video" under the "Video mode" icon?

All v.5 Camera apps (at least the ones I have) don't have that word description, but I swear I saw Camera app v.5xxx (in someone's ROM) which had it too, same like v.4 used to have.

Well my version of camera has got both icons and descriptions.It's version 5.04 (Build 29195). Hope that helps.

Can you share your cab?
I just installed HTC Camera v5.042915.cab from kareem9nba's but it doesn't have the "descriptions" (and neither of 2 other 5.04.2915 cab versions that I already have).

Unfortunately I don't have the cab. My camera was supplied with this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=386519
Try PMing sakajati he might be able to help you as he was the one who created that ROM.

Just an update.
The "descriptions" are camera's registry as I suspected, but strangely the keys that are responsible for them were changed in the camera cab I had... and that's simple'n'stupid the reason why it didn't work for me.
When I was 'deconstructing' somebody's ROM recently, by mistake I peeked into his HKLM\...\HTC\Camera\ settings and thats how I found the solution

Hmm - the link in the WWE txt file points to a 3.1 KB file that ends up being a corrupt file. Anybody successfully downloaded the WWE version?

No problem with WWE file. Link points to 109 MB files.

This ROM from what I can see is funtionally the most perfect one to date, although others have had brilliant efforts. BUT the appearance needs a bit of work, the TF3D is cropped top and bottom of the interface to accomodate the new (I think too big) windows buttons...

What about if you change the theme, I have read somewhere that changing the theme will make the display look better

I did try changing the theme but no luck the top and bottom of TF3D are still cropped...

Well, I don't think this build is ripe enough for daily usage. How is the HTC message, any improvement of speed?

it works fine with messages.

Testing this right now, so far looking really good! Thank you for this release!

First its great to see another player in the game and well done this is a very nice ROM has taken care of a lot of the issues and you can see a lot of thought has gone into the make up of this. The only thing I ask is if on your next release we could have Footprints included as there is a acceptable workaround for this which works well.
Note: for those wishing to realign the manila one of the guys over at PPC Geeks has made this CAB, its not 100% but a big improvement.

Just noticed one small thing here, the Home hard key doesn't work. The End hard key takes me to the home tab but the Home hard key does nothing.

touchflo 2.5 manila is not possible to port over to the g1, though sense does have touchflo features inside some apps but its not the full manila, "maybe, in the future htc will develop a full manila android phone" lets hope!

Just lke this kid I had come in the shop the other day.
I work in a game store and do console repairs.
I charge $50 to fix 360's which I feel is pretty reasonable considering the work, and the fact that I get it done overnight.
Kid comes in and asks me how much. I say $50. He then goes into how he knows how to do it but doesnt want to be bothered with getting the tools or materials needed and to cut him a break. I ask how much of a break. He says, Look, can you just fix it for me since I dont want to.
I laughed in his face and asked my co-workers if it was a joke.
