Why not install the whole rom? i've been using this for the past 2 months and i've no problem with it--- A2DP , wifi-bluetooth connectivity and orientation works beautifully

EDIT: Sorry, my mistake, I downloaded it but I've FLASHED the 20279 (the older one). And this one has English too. This ROM 20757 is CN only!

No English in this Rom
Tried everything, following the guide and my conclusion is that there's no possibility to change the ui language to English.
Hopefully someone can supply the English version of this Rom because it's fast and I want it
When in Menu -> Folder with gear -> 2 -> 6 -> cannot change the first option, no US English.
Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry, I've double checked, and discovered I made a BIG mistake, downloading this Rom, but installing the older one ! I agree, this is CN only!

i am not familiar with the chinese imput methods, but according with various mui file in /windows (that are named 804.mui) i suppose thr lenguage is simplified chinese.
maybe other people can confirm that...

The original is the KPN one.
It has no KPN software and hass the full things that the WWE ROm of xperia has.

What about Xperia, bought with Hi? Is it also free of junk and other garbage?
You said that KPN has an WWE Rom, does it mean that it doesn't has Dutch language? I have ordered mine (black), with Hi and is supposed to be arriving the 13th of december. Hope it is a clean ROM.

I got my x1 from T-Mobile and it was clean room without any stupid things but i made a mistake that i didn't wait until dumbing it first
ofcourse it was dutch language and thats why i look for it again because i got tired of the cooked room i have now , i can't write any dutch word because of the suggesting words , it's so annoying

I got also the T-Mobile (Pre release but no prototype).
Sim unlocked.
And I had web n walk from tmobile on it. The other software was free.

i tried to use the update service but it said your device is up to date no update available, because it looks at your device room and compare it to the latest version of the same languge, so they don't depend on the local device number.
let's hope someone still has a dutch room and know how to dumb it shows up and make us a favour

if you only need dutch wordcompletion you can search for it.... I guess it's called "Dutch Language WM6.cab". I found it here. I use it on my Artemis with different WWE Roms, both WM6 and 6.1.
Just install cab and soft reset.
btw, you have an egypt flag in your country in stead of dutch.... is there a reason for that? (just curious)

i will try this cab , the reason i have an egyptian flag because iam egyptian but i live now in Nederland due the fact iam married to a great dutch woman may god bless her.

I think you should put the flag from the country you live in, and the provider you have. In my case that's the same country. I just thought you accidentaly picked the wrong flag. Since you didn't, I'd keep the flag .

is there anyway to stop the word suggestion?
writing will be easier without it

I see that a version of WM 6.5 exists since some time and I would like to know if one version French exists with TF3D 2.5.

But unfortunately nobody seems to be working on a French rom.
ManiaHD told me he was interested in working on TP2 however he hasn't got any device for the moment...

THAT guy is WHY i will NEVER cook a public 6.5 rom for the Rhodium... I myself have recooked a WWE 6.5 ROM to French for my personal use on the base of NRGZ' Warhawk ROM but some people just think that it is COMPULSORY for us to just "post a mirror" for their own personal pleasure.
Jrecho, remain with your crappy french 6.1 rom and don't even bother asking for anything on this forum.

I found this and I wanted to share, it's called liX-X2 rom, but it is a german rom... I am using it now, even mp3 works on slideview! But im not german but i want to stick to it... I was using an HTC hero with Android and it was possible to change languages... Now i got at X1 for cheap since i lost my other phone and i wanted to get a nice rom... Is there anyway to change the language of the WM rom? Im not used to this so sorry if i offend someone... My head hursts afther flashing so many roms...

.. if that is just as easy as ( in word docu) like "ctrl+f" find all (french code or word) and "replace with" (english code or word) that would be easy..
