Hello. I've updated to WM6.1, but I regret. Whole system is unstable and very slow... And btw.. The weather-patch doesn't work in 6.1..
I really want to downgrade to latest WM6 Pro Norwegian. Hope that anyone got a rom for me. I'm on my knees here

u can try helmi_c aku3.2 which is the latest rls, very fast and stable. it's a very nice ROM. there is some issue with BlueTooth, but the rest is all good.

Hi Mike,
visit http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Blueangel and browse through forum. U know we cant give u any advice if we dont know what are u looking for (any problems, discontent?)
You can upgrade to the latest version of wm2003se (see the wiki) and than consider if u wanna upgrade to wm2005.
i'd say enjoy your unit using wm2003se for a while.
and when the time comes that you are looking for some more, then go for wm5... and the latest radio version.... it would seem like you have a new phone altogether.
I would take a call depending on the way you use your phone. How much of bluetooth you use, how much of wifi, do you use a stereo headset, do you use a GPS attachment, what kind of applications you run etc. Please note that if you go through the the complete threads of a particular post helmi 1.3 or 1.2 or 1.1 you will come to know the advantages and drawbacks of upgrading and can then take a wise call.
Hope this Helps

Dear Sir,
I'm running Ivan V4R3, may i know which is faster if compare with helmi_c aku3.2. And as my know helmi is pre-install some program, can u specfily. Thanks!
Ivans rom with ramdisk is very stable and fast wm5 version, and i lie it a lot, but AKU updates fixes many bugs in the OS and Security of the mobile device, so i prefer latest AKU 2.3, 3.0 3.2 roms.
The best way to get your rom to fit your needs is to build a custom one with Bepe's ktchen
@Mike
First i want to welcome you to the forums, you will learn a lot here as i did!
First step that you have take is to read WIKI, a lot of stuff is explained there. For you there are 2 possible types of roms, WM2003SE or WM5. By mine personal opinion the best roms by now are Ivans v4 r3 with ramdisk, and Helmi's 1.3 AKU 3.2 roms. You can try and decide for yourself.
Hi Guys,
Two days ago, I update my ROM to the Touch-IT 2.2, and then installed the slide-lock, etc.
My first question is: What are the main differences between version 2.2 and 2.3? Should I make the effort and update my ROM release to version 2.3
Also does anyone know of any software that does smart scrolling kinda like the iphone does. I saw a program called pocket plus 4 that includes this but it also bring alot of other things i dont need
If anyone can answer me please let me know
Thanks,
Serge
Touch-It v2.3 has several new goodies, is more stable and leaves more free space. But at the moment there's as small glitch concerning the touch dual keyboard app. which will make your keyboard messed-up.
Wait for the final version of 2.3 and then do the upgrade!
There is nothing wrong with the keyboard, there is two versions of the Touch-it romz, 1 made for the wing and the other for the P4..... ..... if you use the wrong one for you device the keyboard mapping will be different, but install the right one and the keyboard will be A.ok
And as for Pocket Plus. it gives you the option to disable/uninstall INDIVIDUAL features that you do not want/need
How can i tell what version of Touch-it i've installed
now that I look at the post I used to upgrade I am not sure what version of touch-it I have, can someone tell me how I can find out what version of touch-it i have
Also in terms of common apps, and good resources I can look at, and the smart scrolling does anyone have any ideas in regards to this
Thanks Again,

About the smart scrolling, Touch-it already have it. You donot need to install Pocket plus for that. I personally feel Touch-it 2.3 faster and more responsive.
Smart Scrolling in Touch-it 2.3??
When you say it already has it, how do you activate it?
What this always a feature?
I installed version 2.2 but will be upgrading to version 2.3 this afternoon.
any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

The Touch-IT wing 2.3 works like a charm on my Herald. The keymapping problem you describe occur in BETA Touch-IT wwe P4350 (Build 18125.0.4.2) on my herald due to XT9
However someone seems to have a solution for it posted on page 1 right here: Fastest and lightest Herald ROM!.
Haven't tried it yet, because i'm sticking to Touch-It 2.0 untill the final version of Touch-It wwe P4350 is released by Itje
New user
I'm new to this so can someone give me step by step instructions on how to install this Thanx.
Indeed the XT9 problem; thanks for the heads-up prairydog; will immidaitely try the reg edits.
ITje wrote a full manual on how to upgrade to the touch-it rom.
The best way to get familiar with the proces is by reading the forums; besides this you will gain enough info to be confident in what you do without bricking your expensive herald

ok I have an artemis that I got a cooked rom for, total perfection...
I am trying to get my tytn2 to the same point with apps and such but I am having real problems installing OM4.1..
I am running duttys 6.1
I have tried a couple of JVM's but they just mess the rom up and I have to reflash.. I'm pretty new to this I admit but would really like to install OM4.1
Anyone got some fool proof step by step?
Did you try the latest, 3.1 Jbed I've just posted on in the MIDlet bible?
First try to set regional settings to English.
I have just had an e-mail back from HTC Support advising there will be no WM6.1 upgrade offered for the P3600i.
TyTN II will get an official WM6.1 HTC upgrade though.
Man I wish someone was able to crack the P3600i to enable us to flash them with cooked ROMs.
My other half's D810 runs really well on 6.1 so I figure the P3600i would benefit greatly.
Someone must be able to crack it somehow. Please.
no help from me sorry, but out of curiosity which 6.1 ROM do you run on the 810?
you can't bro.. i try downgrade radio or Hrad spl, but failed

I am running ausdims full 6.1 ROM.
I looked at a few others but I wasn't interested in touchflo......
I am pretty happy with the results so far.
I just flashed WinMo 6.5 to my opal, but it has lots of bugs. Is there a way I can reflash WinMo 6.1 to my opal? The 6.5 version that I flashed is this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=606750. Thanks for any help, and also for reading this.
Just realized that I asked kinda a silly question. WinMo 6.5 is buggy, full of useless (according to me) stuff and very heavy (not lite). I've found the links to WinMo 6.1 but damn Rapidshare.
Was it that bad? Maybe you chose an old ROM. Anyway I guess I'll stick for a while like you with the original 6.1 till we get a stable 6.5 release
6.5 is not stable and lite
I agree guys, i have tried 3 versions of 6.5 ROMs cooked by different moderators of this site but all of them have some bugs, the battery life is reduced to 5 hours only. I am need of an original Viva 6.1 pro ROM, please help.... Right now i am having 6.1 ROM but that too has some bugs.... Thanx for any help in advance.... Till then, we have to wait for a Stable 6.5 pro ROM.....
