AAC in music player - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

is AAC audio works in the fancy music player of Touch Diamond?

Good question. Does anyone have a list of formats that the music player supports?

Ring tone supported formats:
- MP3, AAC, AAC+, WMA, WAV, and AMR-NB

thats from expansys - so i suppose if the ringtone support is ACC you should be able to play them through the media player....

Tried myself today, it works perfectly with all my AAC encoded podcast

iTunes, aac and Kaiser

Here is what I want to do:
At least be able to listen to aac and flac files in the HTC player.
I would love to be able to automatically sync with itunes.
I have a brand new kaiser. I have licences for pocket player and pocket music (with the aac plugin) which I don't necessarily like to use. If I can't use the HTC Audo Player for aac or flac files, do you have any suggestions to make listening to music on the kaiser as convenient as it is on an ipod.
Am I dreaming?
google tcpmp 0.81 i believe that has the codec for aac

Playing recorded videos on desktop...sound missing...

I have recorded a bunch of videos on the Tilt and have them transferred to the desktop. The video and sound works fine in quicktime player, but sound is missing with any other players like VLC and media player classic. I hate quicktime, so is there a way to get sound on VLC and/or media player classic?

Download KM Player...
I will play everything.
KM Player
Thanks, KMPlayer was able to play the vids with sound. Although, I don't like too many apps installed on my comp, so does anyone know how to get sound in VLC or Media Player Classic?
Could be wrong, but I think the MP4 vids produced by the TyTnII use an AMR codec for audio? If so, it might be worth giving http://www.afreecodec.com/win/946/open-amr-codec-narrowband/download/ a spin?

Touch FLO 3D music player and AAC files

I have recently put an album both in MP3 and AAC format on my Diamond. The music player of Touch Flo 3D, when in album view, shows the tracks in wrong order, for the AAC files. It seems it has a bug reading the Track# tag of AAC files. Have you experienced this?
i also have this!
Have you tried any other music players with AAC files on diamond?
I have just noticed the same thing with WMA files. Is that correct?

Looking for an .flv file player, any ideas?

I'm looking for a decent app that plays .flv files. I'm happy to pay as long as it works. Any suggestions?
Perhaps the Wuzhenhua player ?
The Wuzhenhua Player is rough around the edges. It doesn’t handle playback in landscape mode very well. And the program dialogs are all in Chinese. But it makes up for all of that with its support for a wide range of audio and video formats including:
4xm, 8bps, aac, ac3, eac3, amv, ape, dca, imc, alas, rm, rmvb, nuv, ptx, tta, wma, wmv, flic, flac, flv, g726, h261, h263, h264, mp1, mp2, mp3, mp4, smc, tmv, dvdsub, dvbsub

[Q] [i9000] m4a audio on 2.3.6 ROM not in media library?

This questions goes to any 2.3.6 ROM user:
Are m4a audio files with valid ID3-tags (Artist, AlbumArtist, Album, CoverArt) scanned and available in MusicPlayer with correct tags?
I know mp3 and ogg audio are picked up by media scanner.
Please note if odexed/deodexed, JV*, JW1 version.
Edit:
Can confirm m4a audio files are working in XXJVU deodexed from Ramad
Am I the only one using m4a audio files?

Not able to find specs for I9000,
or simply trolling?
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Galaxy_S
...
Media support
The Galaxy S comes with support for many multimedia file formats, including audio codecs (FLAC, WAV, Vorbis, MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, WMA, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, MID, AC3, XMF), video codecs (mpeg4, H.264, H.263, Sorenson codec, DivX HD/ XviD, VC-1) and video formats (3GP (MPEG-4), WMV (Advanced Systems Format), AVI (divx), MKV, FLV).
...
m4a audio (AAC-codec) are superior to mp3 and have always been supported on I9000.
But as said in OP, media scanner in XXJVU can find m4a tags. B)
