MusicID for HTC Diamond

Hi,
Is anyone knows if there is a version or a fix for the MusicID app. that show it correctly in VGA screens like the HTC Diamond?

In this case it is to do with the way the forums generally work. A thread, in which some one hasn't posted in for a while, sinks to the ends of the forum page 1->2->3... This is because the thread with the newest post is generally displayed first. This is also why stickys exist, to keep important threads at the top of the forum. So if someone does a "bump" or "up" he wants the thread to be noticed again and bring it to the top of the forum. Although "bumps" and "ups" in my experience aren't liked by mods, at least on other boards.

Just been looking at the sony x1 xperia, it has a software like this, can someone confirm this? and if so can we get our sticky hands on it?

My girlfriend has a normal Sony phone and it has an app that identifies music. That means its probably Java based, have a search around the internet.
You're not going to get it from the X1 though, the phones not even out yet! Also wouldn't it be Warez as it's Sonys app

How's it differ from all the HTC apps floating around here? If it was a part of any HTC rom we would all have it cooked in.

i was just wondering if there is a remote control thing that connects to earphones that has a am/fm tuner on it? the only thing missing from the mda vario III is a radio :-(

Wow dude. You registered June 2006 and you are not aware of the rules. This has three issues.
A. Radio Tuning been covered ad nausea.
B. This Thread is in the Wrong Section, should be in The Accessories Section.
C. Ultimately this has nothing to do with your Kaiser. You Are looking for a Device that has a Tuner In the Headphones. That is not specific to a Kaiser.
All that being said, I don't think you will find something like that.

i have jasjam with wm5 and upgrade to wm6 and wm6.1 and i know that in almost all of the usees i do have to use the stylus, and my ask dose in diamond i have to use the stylus even i have the tuch 3d caues i want to buy the diamond and i'm just warry about that cuse i don't like the stylus , and becuse that else i think about iphone 3g, and does diamond can do every think without the stylus.

Calendar 'dialogs'?
You know you can enable those white "bubble windows" that pop up on receipt of new SMS messages etc. I'm *sure* years and years ago when I first used Window Mobile that calendar reminders popped up in similar bubbles.
How do I enable them? At the moment all I get is my alarm goes off, which just leaves an alarm icon in the top menu bar for me to click on, but I want the brief details to appear in a bubble - is there a reg setting for this?

I wonder, that small transparent piece of plastic built into to the earpiece. Is that an LED?
If yes, mine doesn' t blink or anything. Should it? And if yes, when?
I had an HTC Wizard before which blinked green when I had signal and orange when charging or a message received.

FM radio sucks! Anyone has this problem as well?
Practically useless radio. Even out in the open, the reception is basically like "shortwave radio". Even with the strongest of channels, I can barely enjoy anything.

Every battarie will be loaded in the same way; there is no software which controls the voltage based on the battarie!!

I posted my share of stupidity. I believe we all did.
But I agree it comes to a point where its to much!

I was scheptical so i reserved myself to the idea that we should really make a harmless joke app that shows you the batt is charging. Then see how many people download it.
Also could you guys tell me how to modify the registry so my phone heats up more because want to put it in my cofee every morning.

is it possible to install xp (sp2 or sp3) on htc diamond??
storage(4gb) is enough for install xp so maybe it is posiblle?

No, it only supports Windows 3.11 for Workgroups for now...

i did it too, no need for registry, install the cab and put more sugar in the coffee
worked for me

Is this company for real? http://htc-kaiser.handster.com/software.php?id=3339&for=HTC+Kaiser. I searched around xda and couldn't find anything about usb hosting except that someone throughout the chip might be capable of it. Does anyone have a link to somewhere where someone can confirm that my kaiser might run a mouse and keyboard? Or maybe even a game controller for my emulators!

I have used the trial version and it does work. The trial version will allow 20 clicks before you have to re-run the program. You should be able to find it if you google it.

What kind of adapter do you need to hook the keyboard or mouse up? I've never seen a USB adapter with a male Mini-B and a female A connector, which would be needed for this to work.

You just need a bluetooth enabled mouse and/or keyboard and a bluetooth enabled phone.

You can get it from the link already provided (a fully working version after you pay them the $14 or so it costs). Anything other than that is strictly against the rules of XDA-DEV and you wouldn't want the MODs banning you on your first post would you? Otherwise Bluetooth devices as already suggested would be the way to go.

Hello!
I have a s3 mini with a broken screen and a dead battery + the proximity sensor is dead...
Now to repair it it's gonna cost more then getting a new one.
Can I convert it to different display? e.g. tv or monitor with hdmi/dvi input?

and this is samsung s3 mini
not sony s3 mini

feel free to show proof that it is possible, to my knowledge there is no hardware support aside from serious hardware modification to do this
which requires in-depth information of the chipset in the device

that is a usb device that connects to the TV that allows you to share movies and pictures
that hardware has been designed to do that
as i have already stated, unless there is a detailed hardware spec of the device you cannot modify the phone to cater for your requirements
sure go ahead and experiment with connections and soldering different points on the board, but unless you have the information you stand a high chance of either damaging the phone further or burning your tv hdmi port

so has there been any information found on how to do this?
please share as i am keen to see the results of your investigations and testing

Well my friend that studies electro studies (or whatever it's called in english) says it's possible but it need some things configured, and it's a lot of work..

it's also possible to fly to space but it requires some things configured
my statement still stands that it is currently not possible
no one has tried or even likely to bother trying since there is no detailed technical spec document shared to the public
It would take days maybe even longer to be able to map out the full circuit board just to understand what happens where and what is needed to make the conversion
just accept this and leave it at that
