I figured out how to link directly to a post but leave that post in the original thread format. i.e. being able to link directly to the first post of a rom review or bug fix, yet still be able to scroll through the rest of them.
1) Click the post number of the first thread in the series you wish to post:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2) A new window should open with just that post in the window.
3) Go to the address bar. There you should see something like what's below. I used post 22 in this open touch 5.0 thread as an example.
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2194466&postcount=22
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2194466&postcount=22
3) At the end of the URL you see:
Code:
p=2194466&postcount=22
The first half is the exact post number in the database:
Code:
2194466
Highlight that and copy it.
4) If you've ever clicked a topic name from the original forum select page, you'll notice it jumps straight to the last unread post. It uses this:
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2234341#post2234341
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2234341#post2234341
to do so.
5) Replace the end of that link with the new numbers from the post you want to jump to. I.E.:
Code:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2194466#post2194466
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2194466#post2194466
Voila!

Thanks goes to Pureskillz for asking why I didn't post this, which I originally PM'ed to him :^D

I posted this in the ROM Development section with the intent to help Chefs organize their threads should they wish to do so. I leave it up to the mods to decide whether this was the correct place to post this or not.

Reviews aren't development either, but I thought I'd help the cause ;-)

Brian, a little friendly advice here...
You have seriously become what is known as a "Serial Threader". Follow the links in my Signature, read them and understand them. Then come back and be a good forum citizen.
First, you need to post in the proper subforum. Questions about flashing DO NOT belong in the General subforum, they belong in the upgrading subforum.
Next, you need to post your questions in the correct threads (i.e. for the Rom you are using or in a thread that asks the same thing).
Then only time you should create a NEW thread is when there are no existing threads where your question fits. None of your threads fits this requirement.
Finally, be patient. Nobody at XDA-Devs is paid for their time, yes even the Moderation Team is entirely volunteer.
Take to heart the fact that XDA-Devs is just as much about the journey as it is the destination. If you don't care for the how but only want the bling then this is not the right place for you.
Thanks,
Well, after looking for an not finding what I wanted...I just decided to build it.
#1 - place to compare ROMs and Kitchens..with filter and sorting.
#2 - place to keep track of my own personal ROIM experiences
#3 - place to keep track of cabs I load (how many cabs do you have on your storage card you have no idea what it is)
So I built up this Sharepoint site and gave a bunch of Cookers rights to post their stuff.
I would LOVE it if I could get some Coders to post their stuff too. It's really pretty easy. And since it's not really an interactive sight...you only have to do it once...you don't have to monitor it continuously.
So, now I'm going to the public.
Here are some screenshots of the basic idea

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Here are some of the cool stuff you can do with lists:
filter By Carrier
Filter By system
here's where users can track their experiences with different ROMs and Kitchens
Here they can track stuff on different Programs and Cab and such.
So....after all that...
The site is located at : http://sp.textultant.com/Mobility
The URL will redirect you there : http://TheMobilityExperts.com
Please understand that adding users is not automatic and somewhat cumbersome....I will try to process requests as soon as I can...but I just want to set expectations...It may by 24 hours or more in some cases. since I'm the only Admin right now.
Hope you like it...There's a survey out there on the site to let me know what you think.
EVERYONE can View...
there are instructions on the site for how to Join and Use
Here goes..........................
CHEERS!

Hi,
Please don't spam the board.
I've also moved this thread to the off-topic.

1) Hard-SPL flash worked fine, tested on 2 devices (thanks conflipper+drellisdee) and I will do the final Hard-SPL files by tomorrow. I'll post here when that's ready for a last formal test. do not nag testers for any files until then, they are far from final (not all features included in HardSPL).
2) can the people who know how to use mtty, do the following check:
enter bootloader and do "info 8"? and if the result does NOT show "samsung_kby00n00hm" for DEVICE NAME, then PLEASE post the different DEVICE NAME here! this is just in case there are imagios with a different nand version (my code should handle that, but I like to check things out properly). thanks!

LOL!! "dude," you need to get a life..
Hello guys!
Well I found this guide while Googling which is called "The Complete Guide to ADW.Laucher".
In it's last section it gives some tips and setup advice on how to make your own theme for ADW.Launcher and since none of the existing skins satisfies me really I decided to take a shot and try something of my own though I have very little knowledge of .... well ... everything!
But I'm a patient guy and "Google is my friend" so I supposed I could figure this out!
The thing is , this guide gave some setup advice before start making the theme such as downloading jdk, android sdk , eclipse blah blah blah...
The guide by the way can be found here:
hxxp://code.google.com/p/adw-launcher-android/wiki/CompleteGuideToADW
(just replace "xx" with "tt")
So I'm following all the instructions carefully and doing everything as I was supposed to until I reach this point:
To Load the template into eclipse:
On eclipse, select new android project
On the new project screen, select "Project from existing source" and select the theme template dir.
Click finish.
Click to expand...
Click to collapse
And that's when this screen poped up! (see screenshot below)
I haven't been able to move further since then , I 've been asking around , posting on forums and stuff but no luck! If someone could share some thoughts here I'd be gratefull!
