I have an unlocked att (now on T-mobile) tilt running L26 Diamond V5. The scroll wheel, as it is now, when used on a page that is longer than the screen, will move a highlight from link to link or button to button as it scrolls. I'm wondering if its possible to make the wheel simply scroll the page up or down without regard to the links in the page.
I've searched the forums and wiki, as well as Schap's advanced, Kaiser tweak, and AE button, without success.
Thanks in advance for any ideas.
Hullo all,
I have searched the whole theread and I couldnot find the answer so I am asking here from you geneus people.
I have MDA Compact IV and today I wanted to map my some of the keys to function or programmes. When I go to start-->Settings-->personal-->buttons tab.I found there is no button present to be mapped. Please tell me is this the problem with my phone only or diamond doesn't have any key available in the list to map.options I see-
1.select a button (no button is there). It should have listed "Button 1 (Hold)" but not
2. Assign a Programme (always set to blank)
How do I get back Button 1 (Hold) in the list back ?
Thank you so much in advance

that's the one i use. one button that can be mapped to 3,4,5....programs!
if you'll really search you'll find more options.
just try and search this forum and the "themes and applications" forum for "hardware buttons".
But Button 1 (Hold) is not listed ?

Hello eveyone,
I´d like to know if there´s a way to change the two buttons beneath the horizontal touchflo3d scroll bar.
I use the bElite99b ROM version and there it says on the left "Telefon" and on the right "Programme".
I´d like to change the "Telefon" button to a calendar button. So that it reads "Calendar" and when I press it, the calendar opens up.
If it is not possible to change it through an already written program: does anyone know if there is a registry key for this button?
Thanks in advance for any answer.
bye,
Thilo
solution found
ok, I found the solution myself while reading other threads.
Here it is:
change the registry key values:
'\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKText' to e.g. "Kalender" and
'\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKPath' to e.g. "Windows\Startmenü\Kalender.lnk"
bye,
Thilo
Hi all
I've had a look around the forums, and i cant seem to find a definitive answer to what im looking for, and im certain ive seen it in a rom somewhere
what im looking for is the following:
A program which allows me to change the orientation of the screen by means of a start menu shortcut (not the one which normally be in the settings -> screen -> orientation, that menu seems to be missing on my rom)
does anyone know of a program (preferably free), that is small, and lightweight that can do this?
many thanks
Search for Gsen or Gyrator in forum.
ive done the searches, ive used gsen/gyrator, those are automatic screen rotators which change the orientation of the screen using the inbuilt accelorometer
i am looking for someting which i can use to manually change the orientation of the screen, a bit like the orientation switcher which was built into the screen settings menu
nobody?
surely someone must know of a program that can do this
ScreenRotator

Saerch for the freeware ScreenRotator.net at this site.
QuickMenu has that feature which will replace your Start Menu. you can do that by tapping an menu item then.
Unless I misunderstand, install AEbutton and map one of your buttons to screen orientation.
Hey Stix,
To enable the screen rotation icon from the Settings>Screen menu, edit the registry: "HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI" and change the value to 0. Go to the Screen page and you'll see the Portrait/Landscape option.
After enabling the screen rotation option, you can map the talk button to rotate the screen with a long press. Start>Settings>Buttons; just look for the <Rotate Screen> option from the pull down menu.
You don't have to go to the Start menu, doesn't use resources (I'm guessing) and it's free!
Hope this helps.
TF3D doesn't rotate even when you select the <Rotate Screen> option (unless the keyboard is popped out, obviously). Only applications and the Windows menus will rotate if you manually rotate the screen.
thank you very much my good man!
this is perfect, i use my raphael to read a lot of pdf's and docs, and i recently discovered documents to go which does everything i want except change the orientation!
many thanks asdfjklqwerty!
I use this, AAHRotate0-90.CAB or AAHRotate0-270.CAB on my Touch Pro.

I just searched for these cabs. I can only find them on a Chinese website which I can't read. It requires login to download the files. Does anyone have these cabs and could they be posted please.
Thanks

Hi,
you can try this attached cab. Hope it's what you're looking for.
P.S. Cab file extracted from ROMeOS v1.95.4.
Excellent! Works like a charm on my HTC Vox. I know this forum is for Touch Pro, but since I found the software here...

AAHRotate 1.0
I do it with AE Button, but if you have SK Tools, these shortcuts will also do it (use the shortcut manager if you want; these probably work with the free version, too):
Code:
Portrait:
1#\Windows\skstart.exe #DMO_P
Landscape:
1#\Windows\skstart.exe #DMO_L
Hi guys,
I wanna remap/change the softkeys in ALL touchflo 3d tabs - contacts tab, messaging tab, internet tab..... But can't find a way to do this.
The software I've found, like SoftKey Manager, can only change the Today screen softkeys. But it must be possible to change softkeys in other tabs as well?
I've been searching the forum and the web without finding any solution.
Please help me out!
Any help?
Any help out there? Please respond!
Well, I just answered my own question now. And the answer is SSMaHo! It lets you remap pretty much ANYTHING! It seems a bit scary to use, but it worked like a charm on my Diamond. Now I have remapped both the "All contacts" link in contacts tab and even the clock link on the today screen directly to aGeye gAlarm!
The SSMaHo thread is found here!
