Anybody here use the HTC docking station with usb mouse and keyboard? Any help will be appreciated since I am looking for a mouse and keyboard for the htc docking station. Thanks
I own one of the cheap ebay clone docking stations, and any standard USB mouse and keyboard works with that, so I would imagine the same can be said for the genuine ones !
i confirm that the genuine one works well with mouse and keyboard.
But I prefer a bt keyboard and a mini optical mouse.
And I have just connect the docking station to an external lcd display;
And I have a real good desktop engine...
Maybe the last michy's rom helps to have a real good desktop replacement...

Use a bluetooth capable mouse
Hi all,
Hope everyone is having a good weekend
I am on the hunt for a docking station for the Razr I for my wife as part of her Christmas present, she currenty has a docking station for the iPod - but now that she has the Razr she would like one for it. As you can imagine, in a world full of i-compatible devices and docking stations finding one that is mini-USB compatible is a challenge.
Does anyone know or can recommend a docking station for me
Thanks in advance
Chris
Correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know USB-Audio out ist not possible (on Razr I)
You could search for a bluetooth dock that charges the phone.
(Honestly I don't know about that USB-Audio thing, but thats my guess)
Don't know about USB audio either,
But how about this one:

Music via Bluetooth and adaptable USB-port for charging, slap an NFC-Sticker on it for auto connect and music app start and you should be good to go.
The USB ports not functioning on the Smart Dock. It seems that when I'm plugging a mouse through a OTG cable it doesn't worek as well. Any ideas?
That mouse may not be compatible with OTG devices.
Try a different mouse, like a modern Logitech USB wireless mouse (Especially with a Logitech Unifying receiver). There is no reason to use the USB Wireless Extender. Just use the USB Unifying Receiver directly to the Smart Dock.
Another member, Wolfpack612, here told me that Logitech k400 keyboard with touchpad works. So I tried the k400 and it works fine.
The same member, Wolfpack612, told me that the Logitech mouse m570 works too.
I also used Logitech LX8 Laser wireless Mouse and Logitech Wireless k320 Keyboard with the Smart Dock and works fine.
The mouse and keyboard has to be OTG compatible, rather it says it or not.
Others may have another idea and information.
Agree with JaguarXT , some mise wont work , like my Razor naga , but regular mouse will do the work , as i use logitech , mosty that dont need much power to work
Logitech M305 works fine for me

anybody know of a decent dock that will serve as a stand and offers a keyboard w/ trackpad? i just got my n7 and ordered one of these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009WSCW4S/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with it and i'm finding that the touchscreen is pretty awkward to use while it's docked. i've scoured amazon for something more suitable with no luck so i thought i'd ask the hive mind. if no such dock exists i should be able to pair a bluetooth mouse or touchpad at the same time right?
Wow... No answers? LoL!! Um... just in case others come looking, you can pair a bluetooth mouse with it. I was looking at that very keyboard dock today. I want one. LoL!! My plans was to use a USB OTG and a wired USB mouse. I may invest in a bluetooth mouse, though.
One thing I've tested before was using a USB OTG: connecting a USB Splitter to it: Then connecting a mouse and keyboard to the splitter. This works. The only issue here may be power. Sometimes the keyboard wouldn't work, or sometimes the mouse wouldn't work. Other times both work fine. I'm lucky enough to have a USB to USB cable, so I plug one end into a power source, laptop, wall adapter, etc, then the other end into one of the splitters. This will give power to the keyboard, mouse and Nexus.
