Dutch MDA-3 from T-Mobile ROM upgrade

Hi Guys,
I know this might sound like a stupid beginner question but
a. I read the forums and didn't find good info on Dutch T-Mobile MDA-3
b. I promise that if I get help from you guys - I will pitch in and help others. So thanks for helping out !
I have a Dutch MDA 3 from T-Mobile with the following:
ROM Version 1.06.00 ENG
ROM date: 08/05/04
Radio Version: 1.00.00
Protocol version 1337.30
ExtROM version: 1.06.118 WWE
My questions:
a. Is there an upgrade ROM for this phone? I called T-Mobile and they said that they are not sure when and if there will be and upgrade.
b. Is it worth upgrading? I guess newer is better but still - what becomes better - is the bluetooth clearer? is the WIFI range improved? is the phone's stability better?
c. Again, thanks a lot for the kind help

Hi, i have a htc wizard and want to upgrade my rom to the latest one, how do i do so and which version to use. please help.. my current specs are....

rom date 9/22/05
radio version: 01.01.10

Call your service provider and ask them for a link to their ROM.

in the short term use the advice above, then read some of the posts in this forum. You'll find several cooked rom on here, by reading the threads you'll find what problems people have had and which one contains the applications you want.
You'll find a lot of applications and tweaks on this site, its well worth reading and trying before useing a cooked rom

yes. havent had any reply from them though.

You really need to study what it is that you are getting ready to do. It is way too easy to get in way over your head very quickly. Plenty to read here and if you get tired you can always go out to your providers web site and read things there.

HTC should have your latest ROM on their website (http://www.htc.com)
Select your Region, then Click on the Support tab
From the Drop-Down boxes, select your carrier and phone model.
You should then see a link to download the latest software.
It's pretty straight forward. You will loose ANYTHING stored on the phone so make sure you Sync up and/or copy anything you wish to keep to your computer. Some people have recommended that you remove your 'miniSD' card before flashing your ROM.

try looking though posts in the upgrade section you will find it there, sheesh.

1. Alpine_Ext-1.11.162_Radio-1.04_O2stuffstripped_Camera_Fixed
2. Modified XDA_IIi_Upgrade_v1.11.162_Radio_1.04

i prefer the number 1...

now there is no more rom upgrades on the site, and i desperatly need a bluetooth upgrade for my xda IIi
my blue tooth headset doesn't work, i ran a bunch of patches and it worked for a while, then i soft reset the phone and now it doesn't work again... and i can't get it back!

ROM Date: 09/05/07
Radio Version: 1.27.12.11
Protocol Version: 22.45.88.07H
Now, first of all I don't know what the Radio Version is haha, but my real question is...
What is the best ROM for me, that would actually speed up the phone a little. And possibly some simple instructions. I've never flashed this device before so I'm a little effy about it, but any help at all would be great. Thanks

Asking that question is like asking "Which food is the best to eat?" I may like Italian food and you may not like it at all. So, just like that, it's not easy to answer that question. Read through each of the ROM releases and figure out if you like the stuffs included with the release or not. If you are after speedy solutions, then read through "lite" ROM releases.

1- Yesterday I Lost My Sim Services (No Signal)
2- Today I Haven't Any Sound In Phone And No Camera Display
I Changed My Rom TO Ship and Cook And Changed My Radio But No Result .!
What Can I Do ?

In order to coax someone into helping you they are going to need to know some thngs:
1. What ROM DID you have?
2. what radio DID you have?
3. Was it working fine before you tinkered with it?
4. what did you change to for a ROM?
5. what did you change to for a radio?
You indicate yesterday you "lost" stuff. and today you have no sound.
You THEN indicate that you changed your ROM and RADIO.
Did you have the losses and THEN changed the ROM and RADIO? Or was it working fine and you changed ROM and RADIO and THEN it went toes up???
Most likely I will not be able to help you - BUT - I am pretty sure that without the above information in your thread you will not be able to get any help.

This is your ROM now? or the one that you HAD?
Did your pbroblems occur and THEN you changed ROMs? or was everything fine and you changed roms and THEN had the problems?
You are going to have to answer the questions asked or you probably are not going to get any bite on YOUR questions.
