I'm wondering if someone could either post a working link to or upload here there X1_RUU_Radio_UpdateUtility.zip file. I've been searching for a while, and the only link I have been able to find is ftp://x1:[email protected]/XperiaX1/TOOLs/X1_RUU_Radio_UpdateUtility.zip which does not work. Thanks!

Can you see the "Sticky:New Original X1 ROM..."
in this forum where you post your question?
The ROMs here are all Updates, not generic ROMs.
I want a R3AA010, Generic UK..Can any1 plz give me a link for this...
I tried searching it, but didnt get anyuthing, there are only Software Updates.
Thanx a ton!
Find the the link here.
Download the file. It's an aplication/exe file (I downloaded APP_SW_X1i_GENERIC_UK_CDF1215-1832_KOV_R3AA010.exe). Run (install) it and it will be extracted to image file (filename.image). Rename the file to kovsimg.nbh, double check if the file is renamed correctly : "kovsimg.nbh" NOT "kovsimg.nbh.image"
Flash your device, and find the "how to" at the sticky thread.
cant find it anywhere..all are software updates...ive already looked here...

Hmmmm well, it sounds like you haven't attempted utilizing these links recently.
They are successful about 10% of the time.
Amazing how cynical some people can be without actually providing useful advice.
Some of the roms on this page are on a ftp:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3255960&postcount=4
See if you're lucky enough.. Ofcourse you will need to revert to stock spl for this and update to latest generic rom via SEUS..
Good luck
Hi,
As the title says, I'm sharing with you (devs and users) decrypted ROM of Arc (sin files)

---- mistake
ok, i`ve downloaded the decripted file, but anyone can tell how to upload to the phone? i have one Type-Not-Approved model which doesn`t turn on, anyone can help how to use this file to revive it?
thx in advance!
@E-ducation
Use the newest Flashtool - make a ftf-File with the Flashtool from the sin. files (Advanced->Bundle creation wizard). After that put the ftf-file in the firmware folder and you can flash it.
Who knew if the services "CrashMonitor", "Diagnostics Tool" and "devicemonitor" can be stopped? Are they necessary?

Hey.....whats the use of a decrypted ROM?? I mean....what are the advantages?
The advantage is that you can upgrade your fw even if it is not available yet in your country...

I see. Maybe you can try restoring your device's software by using LG's Mobile Support Tool. Check www.lg.com and search for Optimus P990, you should find the support page and download the tool from there.
