Anyone got german T9?

Anyone got German T9 support to share?
Which file is it?
I need the öäü on my keyboard (dont need T9 itself)

All those symbols are on pg 2,3,4 of the symbols page.
As proof here they are as I am typing this on my s730 english xt9 dictionary. ÄäÖöÜü

I had the same problem with the swedish letters å, ä and ö but manged to remap the buttons with this tutorial: http://www.modaco.com/content/Smart...obile-Smartphone-Internationalization-Issues/

Yes of course but I want the "ä" on "1"(4x pressing "1")...

If not you could install a t9 cab from here: http://melgurth.ovh.org/index.php?page=downloads

im german but i never use äöü
instead of ä i just write ae etc.
its ok,,, ppl understand me well

I'm using that also but I prefer öäü... I'm Swiss, we use even more of there special letters...
Btw. VOIPBuster doesnt seem to support these special letters either :-(

Dutch T9 Dictionary

I added a few lines in registry to activate my dutch T9 dictionary. (See below)
Now all works perfect, except when i go to => setting => input => options i don't see the dutch name appears.
When i click below on the keyboard i am able to see Dutch name
anyone know how to fix this?

I suppose you first have to install a dutch .cab file? Or does it work just like that on a WWE-Diamond?

I just works with this whitout installing anything
all files are in the rom

No russian files on my WWE rom!!
this could only be enabled with installation cab file i think
i there is one for russian T9

Oh, well I just haven't found it yet anywhere. Guess I'll keep on tryin'... If you by chance will find a direct link please post or pm me! A friend of mine just left to HK and will bring me a diamond. By the time he comes back i have to find out how to make it russian at least for the dialer and keyboard.

Hi, I think it is important to have right Libraryx for all language to show in input. So if someone know what language should have what no of the Library please tell.

Where can I download the Dutch files ? They are not in mu Diamond rom ...

Can you get it to work with Danish as well? If so I'll buy you a beer or two.

Dutch T9 is working now in Qwerty mode, but not on PHONE PAD mode ...

For me Dutch also works perfectly in phonepad mode. Maybe you have to reselecte 'Dutch' as your language after you've switched to phonepad?
Are you sure you have set the 'slider'/button to T9 (it's one of the right hand side buttons on the keypad).

Do you know about portuguese ? Is there ?

I found all the files required for Norwegian, but unfortunately after changing the registry and selecting the empty language, none of the buttons type any letters. Probably some of the magic values you used are wrong, can you please document better?

Can I save this to a file and load it in registry automatically ?
Or do i have to jot it all in there with the stylus?

I did so, and not working. Shows 'unknown' at TF3D-style keypadchooser.
Has the 1.37 WWE European rom dutch files? Isn't there a .cab file somewhere to install?

The files are in the new 1.37 rom also and alot more
Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish

word completition - T9 - laguages

Hello!
Can anybody tell me if I can select other languages than the ROM laguage for word completition in any kind of input method/T9?
e.g. Can I select an english dictionary when I am using a Diamond with a German ROM?
If not, can I add this somehow?

If you actually search the forum you will find a .cab file called "T9 Input 14 Languages Update.cab" which allows you to do just that!
At least I can write t9 spanish, english and greek on the european rom...

My diamond is on ROM version 1.37 I know if I upgrade to a russian rom i will get the russian keyboard,but I don't want to upgrade to a new rom,is there maybe a cab with the russian keyboard,all i really want is the keyboard not the localization ,thank you

Tried also on 4pda. Nobody shared it yet

Hi Mate,
Try this. Install to device memory, and you will have English and Russian on-screen keyboard.

Be careful, this .cab does not list under "Remove Programs". Also, this removed letter/block recognizer options from the SIP.

It IS listed under Remove Programs as KD Ruskey. If you remove it it will restore the original SIP settings.
It does not remove letter/block recognizer.

T9 in WWE?

Can someone with a WWE Diamond2 please install this .cab file and report back if it enables all of the languages in the WWE rom?
I would like to know if I can just buy the WWE version of this phone or wait for a localized one.

Yes it works. See the other thread about Portuguese . However, it won't give you a Danish keyboard layout...

Will the Danish XT9 work if I select the phone-type keyboard? I prefer that one over the QWERTY.
