Hi Guys,
spent several hours trawling the net to no avail, i have a wierd text issue since the upgrade to WM6.1. I have the Vodafone V1615, and used the upgrade off their own website.
When i receive a text message from certain contacts, i get a blank message to that contact appear in my drafts folder!
Anybody have any ideas, thanks in advance

Hello everyone,
I've exhaustively searched the forums here for an answer to no avail, so I've started this thread.
I recently upgraded to 6.1 on my tilt, and it's great except for one little annoyance:
On my tilt, I have my active sync set to download the first 1K of a message to save space. In WM6, when I clicked on "Click here to download rest of message" in the body of the email, it would connect and download the rest of the message automatically. Now, in WM6.1, I click on the link, and it shows "message will download next time you connect and receive email". And I have to then go and manually sync the phone.
It's driving me nuts. Can someone tell me if there's a registry setting to correct this? I've searched and searched in all of my connections/sync/direct push settings for the option, and can't find a thing.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Jeff
Hi
I have a UK orange branded TyTN II, WM6.1. I've tried the wiki and searching for the forums, but can't see anyone else having had the same problem.
I sent a text earlier today and after a short delay it returned me to the threaded view of the conversation with that person, but all the previous messages were gone, no 'older' link to click to get back. I did a backup with PIMBackup, and turned off the threaded view, and the messages are still on the phone, but the threaded view has hidden them. New messages appear fine. They must be cached indexes or something somewhere that have gone screwy, but I have no idea how to force outlook to regenerate the conversation?
Cheers
Endolf
Well lets just get to the meat and potatoes.
I just upgraded my phone from a Tilt(Kaiser) to a Fuze(Raphael). As we all know the Fuze comes stock with TF3D, well I always enjoy SPB Mobile 3 so I found a step by step guide to run both applications.
Now I seem to be having text message issues. If I try to read my new text under SPB mobile the new text messages wont be in my inbox, yet under TF3D it shows all my messages.
Another issue is no matter if im under SPB or TF3, my text dont alert. Meaning my text messages come in w/o notifying me, I have to constantly check my inbox to make sure I didnt miss a new text and its annoying.
I tryed searching to see if there is a fix or if this is a common bug but searching using keys words like text message or SMS is useless with so many threads open that have those words.
PS: Even before I installed SPB i having text issues. I even contacted AT&T about it and they ran a test and said everything was fine. They even sent me a text and I received it just fine. So im guessing it might be something in the software.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.
you wont like the soultion ATT gave me but it workd, a hard reset. It was fine for me because i just upgraded to the new rom when i had the problem. Now everything is fine, I couldn't even send any before i did the reset but it worked.
I installed Shifu's 6.1 rom on my At&t Tilt, and I have this weird glitch with my messaging. Every time I receive or send a text message it stays unread until I open and close my message thread. Its extremely annoying and I have had this problem with other roms before. Could someone please help a guy out?
***BUMP***
Happens on all the 6.1+ ROMs that I have used across 3-4 devices.
Losers SMS Fix sorts it, also sorts out the when pressing reply not ending up in the text box but in the context.
Hi everyone,
Searched the above problem but no avail. My wife's Topaz suddenly cannot receive any incoming sms since Friday. She deleted all messages and conversations even empy deleted items but still having problem.
Appreciate any kind help to the above.
Thanks in advance.
Can she send SMS? Can she send/receive MMS? Your operator should be able to look in their SMSC and check for the reason why her phone is not receiving any incoming textmessages.
