I have been trying several roms and sometimes the special keys like @#*%@# are ****ed up but the att tilt keyboard cab fixes that. My problem is the ok button on the keyboard between windows key and tab. When it hit it, it just takes me back to my today page instead of selecting what I have highlighted. Any ideas? Thx for ur time.
the ok key sends you back to the today screen either by closing the app or minimizing it. it doesnt select. that's not what its for and probably why it doesnt work the way you wanted. to select your highlighted items you should press the enter/return key which is located between the del and wifi key.
if your keys are still "****ed up" and you have already tried the tilt keyboard patch...did you soft reset after applying it?

He said he applied it and this was fixed. He was asking about the OK key, and NguyenHuu's answer was the good one. The OK key does the same as tapping the X in the top right corner of the screen, i.e minimize or close depending on the app.

hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has gotten their hands on this new cab that is suppose to turn our kaisers into a plunger. As of right now i've got all the upgrades such as the Irazor cab, ispatula cab, and even the infamous irobot cab, but can't seem to find the plunger upgrade.
Any help would be appreciated and please don't hate me.

My Kaiser was a plunger without any upgrades/cabs etc. 1 minute in water
After all it's got 12h nap under fan to dry out.

Sure! At first display was full of water stains, now there is only one blurry stain (looks little ****ty because of mould-brown color ) near left edge, but still it is full working PDA. With some issues with hw keyboard - CAPS and first three columns from left not always (1/50 times) works, but it's acceptable.

Wth? It's a hardware problem, not a software--and if it was a joke, not funny. At the OP, if it's less than a year old, get a warranty replacement if it's really bad at 1800-801-1101.

Just wondering, but I think your advise is almost as bad as mine since you have no idea what ROM it is or anything else. I mean, is it a brand new phone? Stock ROM?
Is it a hardware issue? There are plenty of keyboard issues out there that ARE software related..... NOT HARDWARE!!!!!!!!!!
Who knows? To me, it sounds like a flashed ROM that has a simple keyboard issue that a CAB would fix.... but, who knows since the OP dosen't bother with giving any info other than iii hhaaave a kkeey issssuueee.
Are you kidding me? He said it was HARD TO PRESS SOME KEYS meaning when he presses a key, he has to press it hard rather than the regular force needed. I have NO idea how that could be software related. Also, i take it that he means the slide-out keyboard, not the on-screen one.

woot Taters a mod and he's swinging axes around, watch out.
All of a sudden, whenever I open a text message, the phone automatically scrolls all the way down to the bottom of the page where there is no text. It still works, but it's pretty annoying to have to scroll back up to the top of the message everytime. I don't know what I changed, but I did just install Tweak. Could that have anything to do with it? I didn't tweak any SMS options. Any insight?
If you are using 'Kaiser Tweaks' then un-select D-Pad scroll.

Awe that sucks! I liked having that feature for browsing IE. But it's more annoying scrolling to the bottom. Guess you can't have it all. Thanks!
Tell you the truth I did a quick search on "scrolled text message" and came up with that solution... maybe there's another solution to keep it active when using IE..
Might be worth a more detailed search...

Here's a good list for you:
1. Find out how to connect and explore your device's file structure.
2. Find out what a "cab" file is.
3. Learn to install/uninstall cab files.
4. Browse phone settings.
5. Read FAQ sections and understand what is a ROM, what are the dangers associated with "flashing". Decide if you're ready for it or not.
6. Drop in the "development and hacking" forum, see if there are any programs you find useful. Try them out, you'll learn a lot by installing/using/uninstalling stuff.

When i try to install a ROM, it goes to a Red, Yellow, Blue, White screen, then it goes to a white screen and it gets stock at 0% then on the computer says ROM update failed...

Wow! What a noob. (and I'm not saying that to insult). You have a long way to go before you ask those kinds of questions. It's like my 8 year old asking about the big bang theroy. I can answer, but he won't understand.
I'm gonna say the same thing as eveybody else, READ as much as you can before asking a bunch of questions. You won't understand the answers you get untill you do.
One more tip. Part of my job is training people how to use diagnostic equipment. I always leave them with a 4 word rule to continue learning the equipment after the training. And that is..... Push The Damn Buttons.

If you dont find an answer there, then there is NO fix for you. We call this error the ID-10T error and its unfortunately unrecoverable, and thusly, causes irreversible damage....... especially to your reputation here at XDA-Developers

Research the HARDSPL issue first You cant flash roms without first modding your bootloader as it prevents you from installing non-official ROMS........

without the text selection methods in the later updates and a lack of laser mouse it really needed it. it hasnt been talked about since the updates that gave that little pointer for the cursor

Agreed, with the new cursor functions I don't really see the need for it. Though it is nice to know it's there, something else to toy with.

you mean the symbol above the comma? the one above he "u" is an underline and the comma has the hyphen.
