Can anyone recommend a registry editor for the Alpine?
I have tried the search engines and can find nothing to advise me which to use where to get it and how to install it!
Thanks
Have a look at these http://www.pdagold.com/software/list.asp?p=1&c=3&sc=15
Thanks for that
Where can I find a good REG EDITOR program......I had one before I flashed to wm6.1
www.google.com
I mostly use the freeware "Total Commander". There are better standalone registry editors out there, but TC has other worthwhile functions as well.
You might look at "PHM RegEdit" currently in open Beta test, but works.
If you actually want to buy a registry editor, I can recommend "Resco Registry" as with most other Resco products, its very nice.
Apologies in advance for asking what is probably an easy question.
I'm familiar with using RegEdit on W2K but am not sure how to go about tweaking the registry on my HTC 370. Any help/guidance appreciated.

Go for Mobile Registry Editor: http://www.breaksoft.com/Blog/Utilities/2005/1/Mobile_Registry_Editor.aspx (for free). And next time UTFG
I personally use PHM to edit mine, works well and was free. Its the same as your computers OS essentially.
CeRegEditor for me. Editing the registry from the computer.. Alot easier than editing registry with mobile software..
Microsoft has their own remote registry editor (similar to the out of development MobileRegistryEditor linked kindly above). The only thing is that it installs a remote client on the phone when you run it, but it has more features than the RAPI only MobileRegistryEditor. Most of the time, I use MobileRegistryEditor though.
Thanks guys for all your help. I'd Googled this but as you can appreciate there are a LOT of registry editing packages out there and the last thing I wanted was to bodge my new HTC730 with some n00b reg hacks.
For those looking for a registry editing solution, here's a summary of the packages people have kindly responded with. From what I understand, all of these programs will let you edit your mobile's registry from the comfort of your PC.

PHM Registry Editor:

You'll find this sort of encouraged "self-censoring" mechanism on this forum (example being above). I think people try to keep this forum more advanced than, for example, howardforums... I don't really care though and that's all that matters.
Hi guys,
I'm looking for a good Registry editor to d/l. The ones that I've been seeing on the web have not worked for me coz they always seems to have other dependencies .
Could someone please recommend me 1 to d/l?
Thanks.
A good old PHM Regedit works OK with WM6.1
Right now their website is down (www.phm.lu/Products/PocketPC/RegEdit/), so I've attached the .CAB for you.
Cheers
Im using Total Commander in my Diamond and I just wonder how i can get to the registry using that app.?
I appriciate any help I can get...
Thanks,
Daniel
I'm unfamiliar with that app.
However, I've used PHM, SKTooks, and Resco Explorer and they allow you to edit the registry.
use the search. this is mentioned before here.
