Hi,
When making a new appointment and inviting someone to participate on my HTC Touch Diamond, an invite is sent to their e-mail adress. The date shown on the invite, is the date the appointment has been created and not the date of the actual appointment.
When making the exact same appointment, with the exact same invitations in Outlook, the date shown corrosponds with the date of the actual appointment.ยด
On accepting the appointment from HTC Touch Diamond, it is placed on the correct date of the appointment. The tricky part is to get anyont to accept an invitation to a meeting, wich is set to start now ...
Has anyone experienced the same or is it just me? Can anyone test this? Anyone got a solution?
Kind regards
A
Would anyone please test this?
Thanx

I have been searching for the last few months with no luck on this one so i am finally breaking down and posting.
What i am looking for is a today plug in that will show Goodlink Unread Email, Outlook (xpressmail) Unread Email, Unread SMS/MMS, Voicemail Count, and Miss Call Count all on one line.
Right now I am using HTC Home for outlook/sms/mms/missed calls and having a seperate line for Goodlink. I would love to get away from HTC Home if possible so if anyone has a link to this type of plugin I would be greatly appreciative.
I Messed around with SPB Mobile Shell/Pocket Plus/Phone Suite and could not see anything that would allow me to manipulate this. If there is another Program like WAD that would do this please let me know. I am up for trying anything at this point.
Thanks for the help!
When I create an appointment on my diamond and send a meeting request to my contacts , they would received the request with the date changed to the date which I create the event , not the actual date . Anyone ?
I have the same issue with my Wizard with WM 6.0. I thought this corrected by now. I asked before but no one seemed to either use this functionality or knew what to do.
I've run into a little problem and i was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the situation. I have an AT&T Tilt running the factory WM 6 ROM. So anyways, the problem that I am having is that whenevr someone sends me a SMS, my phone is time stamping them with the local time of wherever the person who sent it is from. Now this is turning into a problem cuz I am using Birdsoft's Xtreme Text in order to get the threading effect. Well since my phone is time stamping all the messages with the time zone that they came from, Xtreme Text cant group the sms correctly to look like an InstantMessage Chat conversation. So my question is, "how can i make it so that all my incoming sms are time stamped with MY LOCAL TIME"? Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can give me.
I don't think it's WM that is doing the date stamping. It would be up to the client (Xtreme Text) to apply the date stamp. Maybe you should post your question on their web site. But then what the 7734 do I know?
Maybe you should flash a WM 6.1 ROM and see if you still get the time stamping issue.
Guys,
Just a quick one - I've got an appointment in my calendar for this Friday and it is not showing up as an upcoming appointment on the home screen. Is there a setting I need to enable to make it show upcoming appointments or should TF3D do so by default?
Thanks

What if you add an appointment with the date today or tomorrow, does that one show up?
I think that only entries for today and tomorrow show up by default.
thanks Laban I tried that - the appointment i created for tomorrow showed up but not the one for Thursday, so it looks like only the following day's appointments show up by default.
Does anyone know if this can be changed? I used to find it very useful on my previous WinMo devices being able to see at a glance what I had coming up for the week ahead...
I'd have thought there'd be a registry key to specify the number of days ahead to look. Anyone?
I have this 'problem' too.
Did someone have a solution?
hope there is a registry hack.
would't be really great if this can be changed.

Hi.
Some of my users at the office have had similar problems. In their cases only the "private" appointments appeared on the phone, but not the ones not set as "private". The solution was setting the date to the correct day. This is because the phone syncs all private appointments from the exchange, but only a few days before and after the current date for the rest.
Why the correct private appointments appeared I do not know, but after I set the date to the correct setting everything worked fine.
Hello,
Anyone know if its possible to change the number of calender entry's shown at the home screen. I would like to see something like next 4-5 upcoming appointments instead of just 1 or 2.
Can this be tweaked in registry? or..
Hope someone have a good solution
best regards

Hi
Mine displays the whole day worth. Settings are in
Start-->Settings-->Today-->Items-->Calendar-->Options
and select upcoming appointments instead of next. this then shows the Whole day worth of appointments. after the last appointment has passed then tomorrows appt's are shown as well.
Cheers John
Winmo shortcoming. Try TodayAgenda.
