because my updated mda3 with win 5.0 is dont running good i want downgrade to win 2003se.
i have a t-mobile phone but my provider is 02 germany.
i found in wiki a tutorial to downgrade my mda but no rom to change the mda to xda.
is this pissible? i miss the homezone symbole.

just took mine back to 2003 from wm5.
this is what i done>Press the power, record and reset button all together. That will put the device into a "clean" bootloader mode.. You can then update!..

- I'm stuck into the first splashscreen
- I can get into bootloader mode
- When trying to run USPL it hangs at 50... with 2 errors
The only solution I know is the factory rom (DUTCH ORIGINAL HTC ROM - not branded) but it wasn't delivered with the device on cd
Does anyone know if it's possible to flash a backed up rom from my mini-sd card from the bootloader? or get into dos from bootloader to type a command to run the exe file maybe?

If anyone has or can find a non branded original dutch HTC rom, would be great to help me (and lots of other people). Sending in your device is 6 weeks waiting, did it last time. So the repair service has the original rom, I wonder why this isn't available online, there are so many roms downloadable online from different operators, but no original dutch HTC rom ?!?
I think I can flash back with succes, even if it was an older original HTC rom (WM2003 or SE or WM5 or WM6).
Anyone can help all the people that are stuck with the dutch original rom? or other people that are stuck and want to flash from their backups from bootloader?
Hope to receive some serious answers from experienced 'senior' xda users

Nld Rom For Htc P3300 Artemis

Thanks for trying to help, but the rom you mention is for HTC Trinity, i need a dutch official rom (WM5) for HTC Artemis (P3300);
I did try it, what can i lose with a bricked phone, and setup quits at 1% mentionning 'image file corrupt'. I guess because it's for another HTC.
I did get to 3% with other rom images, but setup was broken off then, due to that i cannot run uspl with a bricked phone.
Anyone else finds a dutch wm5 rom for us all ?

i bought a HTC Herald(p4350, not tmo wing) yesterday.
i flashed the wm5 to wm6, but they aren't so good..
i would like to flash a new rom (touch it 2.*) but i think the device is CID-Locked.
in htc wizard there was a tool: lockwiz.bat
which unlocked my device (g3)
question is:
are there any program or sg, that unlocks, and "RE LOCKS" ( because of the warranty) my pda?
i need a guide also, and i don't like to pay for it (i am student)
please help me!

I flashed my wing without having to CID-unlock it .............. so I doubt you will need to CID-unlock your p4350
To flash a rom, you can use aserg's method.
When you DL a rom, you recieve bunches of other files.
First install a fresh RUU.
Then, install aserg policies.cab, then soft reset.
Then click an run 1_UPGRADE_ROM.bat
Wait and don't touch your herald.
When it says its done, hard reset and voila!

They are exactly the same device, just defferent outside design and keyboard layout ............... you can try the touch-it v2.0 by itje located here

You can use the Touch-IT 2.0 without any problem, i have a p4350 cid locked and works fine with the aserg´s method

my HTC Touch HD is buyed at first quarter of 2009.
I thinked i had buy a german Phomne, but the seller has sold me a English WWE from Czech Rep. with a german rom. Now i have a problem with the alignment of the screeen. Because of that i flashed a new shipped rom.
_HTC Touch HD_MR_2009_RUU_BlackStone_HTC_GER_1.56.407.2_Radio_52.60.25.33_1.12.25.16DE_Ship.exe
But the screen are not in full quality resolution at startup and the problem of the alignment are not gone.
After i have called the german support hotline i flashed the following rom from sunnysoft.com witch are recommended by the hotline for my s/n .
RUU_BlackStone_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.56.479.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe
But the problems are still there.
Before i send my phone to repair, i would ask in this forum for ideas.

my guess is that there is a hspl on it and its the wrong one:-o
also you can bypass screen alignment by putting a file called welcome.not on the root of youre storage card and it will be alignd automaticly
you flashed a 1.56 spl rom so you shpould have spl 1.56
turn the phone completly off and press volume down
while keeping it pressed down briefly press the power button so you can see wich spl you have
if it isnt 1.56 flash 1.56 spl to youre phone

That's the ROM my HD was shipped with.
And I still have no problem at all when I flash it.
So, as Miniterror wrote, it has to be HSPL problem.
Since I never used HSPL (always and only USPL), here's information I get in bootloader mode:
BLAC100 32M
SPL-1.54.0000 (yes, it's really 1.54 - just rechecked!)
MicroP-Blackstone (LED) v6
