Start menu

Ive searched and searched online and on these forums, and i was hoping for some further help.
I am hoping to change my start menu icon from the stardard windows button to the round vista button, can anyone help>>>????

I don't know if it's possible to manually change it, and this is already discussed in this thread (maybe look there for news), but for sure WisBar does it (...and much more!!), this the home page, then look for a Vista skin in the forum, like this one!!

I wonder if their is a big need for this? I for one would love it, but don't want wisbar's extra stuff. Anyone else out there interested in this?

Wisbar and WAD have had a history of being unstable and making phones have the SOD. I use to use WIS and WAD, but now I stay away from it.

I second that... Wisbar decreased my Kaiser performance terribly.

What contact managing program do you use?

Hi, I love the diamond, but its kind of a fuss with the contacts. You have to add them one by one to your favourites, if you want to see them in Touch flo. Im too lazy to do that, so Im looking for a good contact managing program. I tried icontact, but its only for qvga. I would like to have that "iphone" like feeling in it. Tried some, but didnt find the right one - so looking for any tips.
Also, is there an option to change the "phone" application? Its slow, and I dont like it.

Icontact supports VGA, I'm using it, and right now I'm creating a Diamond VGA skin right now.
I disabled contacts page on manila, and assigned left softkey on clock page to contacts.

Anything new on the Diamond skin for iContact? Sounds like the perfect solution!

There is a iContacts port for VGA.
And it looks amazing plus assigning it to a soft key is even coooler.

yup unlees its been changed it could lead to a hard reset!!! from what I read i've not tried it myself!!!

I can get the plugin to enable without freezing under the new hyperdragon rom, but nothing but a different background seems to show up, and in the 'today' settings it is called Titanium i believe. So nothing useable yet. Just wait a bit

Looking forward too didn't realize they used the chome config icons

The HTC Home works on PDA Corners Ulimate rom V17...but you can only scrolll using the hardware buttons. I stuck with the manila 2d that was cooked in. Super fast.

Well it will be nice when someone gets this working correctly. What ever happened to that web interface? Has that been leaked and cabbed yet?

Here's a Neat program I made that is a shell to launch Myspace's mobile site. Please launch from your main memory. No install is needed. I haven't tested on any other device's other than the Touch Pro and the Vogue. Enjoy!
To Launch:
1. Unzip
2. Place in Main memory of your Phone ( I like to use "Program Files")
3. Log in and enjoy Myspace without a web browser!

EDIT:
in 6.5 (haven't tested in 5/6.1) scrolling with finger doesn't work of course I'm using 6.5. you can use the directional pad on the keyboard and the one on the front of the phone perfectly however. (around action button).
EDIT2:
Finger scrolling works on the Vogue (running 6.1). Maybe its 6.5? could someone with 5/6.1 Touch Pro test this for me? I don't feel like re-flashing to 6.1 lol Also a great way to launch this is in the "my shortcuts" in spb mobile shell 3.0. Works great.

Do you have TouchFlo installed? Not touchflo 3d, but the regular touch flo. If so then the touchflo scrolling is canceling out the default 6.5 scrolling. Which is why it is so bad

could anyone plz point out where to get Chome?

I'v been searching like a mad man, trying to find a cab or any other sort of installation to implement Chome afterwords on my x2 ultimate build 6.5 V11.
it is supposed to be cooked in the rom but I'v flashed reflashed, restored and re-configured, somehow it just wont appear on my tools nor my today screen.
I really like the Chome today screen, with all its features, but untill now I am unable to find a way to implement it on my phone.
is there a way? and if yes, could somebody plz direct me to the correct place to get it?

Chome is the Windows Default in 6.5. Maybe you have Touchflo (Manila) enabled on your ROM? Just go to Settings/Today/Items and just tick Windows Default.

what I would like and had before with a earlier version of the same ''publisher'' is
now on a bright moment, just a few minutes ago, reading your comment about the windows default which I have running, is it titanium that brings me the userinterface from the last picture?

Ask in your ROM thread about the settings. Titanium is just another name for CHome. Titanium Weather will have its own configuration somewhere.
