wizard gprs slow slow slow

Hello,
have installed ruu_9100_2170702_21707102_20710_qtek_wwe_ship.exe.
As with the previous rom-upgrades, i'm experiencing a very slow - to unsuable - gprs connection.
What's really strange: Connecting my notbeook via bluetooth with my notebook i can browse at relatively good speed from the notebook dial-in connection to the wizard.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone can help?
Thank you
Chris
seems to have to do with the network.
Was in town today and - gprs went perfectly.
Now at home again - with full network coverage and signal indication - gprs died again.
Called O2 to fix it.
Anyone else experiencing problems with network cells & wizard ?
well...i havent upgraded my device yet so i cannot really compare. in general i dont find gprs THAT fast, a bit slower than a wifi connection i would say.
question for you though: did you manage with the english rom on the german device? how did it work out with the keyboard?
cheers, FunkSpray
it's not that gprs is just slow - at home i almost cannot use gprs.
Regarding the keyboard:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd]
"Locale"="0407"

Connection problems

Hi all.
Since 6 days i'm unsing the HTC Diamond.
Only ive got a big connection problem.
Let me explain:
To use WLM of WMP Live stream there is a internet connection needed (doh)
When using both apps the phone wont switch over to HSDPA, only the G3 icon is present.
Now normally it should connect trough G3, but it wont.
When i open Opera, or IE HSDPA will come up and browsing works.
Now, when i use a WIFI connection all programs like WLM are working properly!
How to fix this? Maybe a regedit witch turns HSDPA always on?! (Battery eater)?
Any other ideas would be very appreciated!
Please somebody?

Seamless switch between HSDPA and WiFi?

hey guys...
noob question hoping that someone with a Diamond can help me... is this able to seamlessly switch between 3G/HSDPA data and WiFi for Internet Browsing and email synching?
i know the new iPhone 3G does that (ie uses WiFi signal whenever it's in range and switches to 3G/HSDPA connection automatically when WiFi is unavailable) so i was wondering if WinMo had that same functionality?
can anyone shed some light regarding this?
As far as i can tell, the diamond also does this...whenever i activate wifi, it jumps onto that instead....

Weak wifi connection

Hello!
I am connecting to a wireless router with my Kaiser (it has WM 6.1),
and I noticed that in a not big distance the wifi just disconnects...
I changed the performance to be the best.
Is there any way to improve the wifi connection?
Maybe some 3rd party application?
Thanks!
Maybe anybody else has the same issue?
When I say weak connection, I mean that it connects in a distance of 3 meters,
but it disconnects in a distance of 7 meters, and a wall between the wireless
router and the Kaiser.
I use the official HTC ROM. Maybe there is a way to improve the wifi
connection?
Thanks in advance!
That's pretty extreme - sounds like a hardware problem. Are you absolutely sure it's not a problem with your router? Did you try experimenting with different radio ROMS? I've tried quite a few and I have found some that work better than others (WiFi, GSM, GPRS, battery life). It's worth a try, but research flashing ROMS first (on this forum).

GPRS autoconnect issue

Hi,
i have a problem with my htc touch pro.
i tried disabeling the GPRS autoconnect using this metod:
HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\EnableCPHSON S = 1 (integer)
HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\NoGPRSAutoAt tach = 1 (integer)
...perform softreset....
anyway... my phone doesn't seems to care, it keeps autoconnecting to GPRS even if apparently no program needs internet connection.
This is rather frustrating, not from the cost point of view, but because of battery drain.
does anyone know hot to fix this, and stop the GPRS autoconnect ?
and if not, how much battery the GPRS idle connection drains ?
Thanks
Google modaco nodata.
thanks
Thanks for answer, but it would be realy nice not to disable/enable gprs connection with a little software but to be able to connect manually only when i want.
If i use this software, everytime before i want to connect to GPRS i have o acces the software and enable the connction.
I used to operate a HTC Wizard with Windows 6.0 and i never had this problem.
It may be a problem of TouchFLO ??
