When I transfer an album (MP3's) to my Diamond, the music skips, plays about 1 second, stops for a second plays again for a second etc etc.
I drag and drop the music using USB connection.
The music plays fine when it's on the PC, crap when it's on the Diamond, then crap when I transfer it back to the PC from the phone, leading me to assume it's a transfer issue.
My brother can transfer music to my phone exactly the same way, and it plays fine.
Any ideas?
bad usb or over burdened usb usage.
Thought that, but the printer works fine in the same one?

I have my TyTN II connected via bluetooth to my laptop. I works, but the problem comes when I want the laptop to play music files which are on my TyTN II. I can browse the files from the computer on my phone and it also shows for instance winamp on the music files, but when I try to open them it just goes to properties of the file. I can't see the mobile folders from the program itself only through active sync. Is there a possibility to get it to stream music from my phone over bluetooth?
hi peeps,
ive seached everywhere to look for an answer to this but couldnt solve it, so im finally asking the pros on here.
i have a milestone, rooted, 550mhz overclocked to 1gb 56vsl. firmware 2.1
anyways, i got the jabra 3030 bluetooth connector.
my issue is i like to use the excellent new audible app on my phone, anyways when i hit the play button on the bluetooth connection it will pause the audible app as its suppose to then starts the internal media player.
i dont use the internal media player on my machine, i have a few mp3 tracks that are used as ring tones and some podcasts. is there anyway to disable or stop the bluetooth connection turning on the media player?
the same thing happens when i also use my podcast catcher (doggcatchya).
I dont like the internal android player and wouldnt miss it if i could remove the program.
can anyone help as its driving me crazy, and really defeats the point of having a bluetooth media controller, i have to get my phone out everytime now to stop the media player.
thanks
roy
So I'd like to mount my Nook in my car to use while driving. I'd find it easier to push a large button on a screen larger than my phone/Zune screen. Not to mention my eyes won't leave the road while doing so. I might end up getting a big enough SD card to fit a majority of my music, or setup a hotspot and stream Pandora. How's the Nook's audio quality?
Is there a way to hook up my Zune, via a 3.5mm cable, to my Nook, then to my jack on my radio, to control my Zune's playlist through my Nook?
If you have your Nook mounted in your car, what do you use it for?
Edit: I wanted to see if bluetooth worked on my CM7 ROM, or if I had to set it up. I was able to enable bluetooth, and pair it with my phone. Since this is my first time ever working with this, my bluetooth works, right? I didn't attempt to transfer anything.

No.
The 3.5mm jack on the zune is an output only jack. Even if you could send a data single down that wire, the zune wouldn't do anything with it.
That's what I figured. I found out I have an 8GB SD in my Nook, and I don't use it to store anything, so I can add a good portion of my music over.
Is there a preferred music app for the Nook that's recommended to use while driving? Like an app with large pause/play, next buttons, etc.
Thanks
One of my vehicles is a 2011 Chevy Equinox and unfortunately it only supports bluetooth for phone calls and not audio streaming. When I tried hooking up my One to it last night via USB it just started indexing the entire contents of the internal SD card for music and started playing anything that was a sound file. How can I organize my music in such a way that it only indexes and plays the music in my Music folder? Also, any way to create a "pre-indexed" file? I noticed that because I have so much music on the phone that it takes several minutes to index everything during which time I can't select specific artists or songs.
Finally, is there any way I can get Pandora to play via USB connection? Right now the car just indexes and plays music that's on the internal SD card. I have to hook up the One via an Auxiliary cable in order to get Pandora to come through the car speakers.
I'll be honest, the whole integration with car stereos is one area where I think Apple has Android beat. My wife's iPhone 5 plays nicely with the car when hooked up via USB... no indexing, can quickly search by artist, song or album, and Pandora streams just fine. Of course I don't necessarily blame Android as much as I do the car manufacturers to catering so heavily to Apple devices and this wouldn't be an issue at all if my car supported bluetooth streaming properly, but I digress.
Thanks in advance
This only happens in my car but...
When I start the car, my handset connects.b, but the music will not play through the car. To get it to work, I have to wait until the car connects with my phone, then turn BT off and on again. Every time. Anyone else suffering from this.
My Bluetooth is working with my car. This is normal procedure that it will take a couple second to sync phone with car system. So even after a 1 minute even you load up Pandora radio or anything, it wont play on your car's stereo ? do you get any error message on phone ? The only thing which i noticed is missing artist and song title tag on my car's screen. I think it is caused by Pandora radio, cause when I restart Pandora, it will work fine. Try to reset your phone or 1st delete Bluetooth car sync profile and re-sync again. Good luck.
Do you have a Bluetooth headset connected when you connect to your car?
If so, go in to your BT device profiles on the phone, open up your headset, and disable media audio.

No message on the phone. I play though Google Music and on the phone it looks like it is playing as normal. I'm only using a simple BT device that conects through the aux port as Ford want a small fortune to supply the bluetooth adapter. I'll have a little play though, thanks for the advice.

No headset connected, nothing else via BT in range to connect to. I'll see if I can find anything else in the profiles though.
Maybe it's Google music. I will try to play music whatever it's store on your memory. I know it seems stupid but it's good to try it. I tried my nexus on my friend's car and no issues. He own Audi, I got Hyundai with navigation. Anyway there is not a lot settings regarding Bluetooth. Like I said before, might be worth to reset phone .
I have a similar issue and it is only with my car as well. It pairs up, the bluetooth audio controls on the stereo come up, but it doesn't play unless I hit play on the phone. After that, I can skip tracks, pause, etc. This happens about 90% of the time, to the point where it almost catches me off guard when it works like it is supposed to. This did not happen with my previous phone (HTC One M8) or any of the iPhone versions I had before it.
