What is your favorite gadget blog. If you have multiple, choose the appropriate. Do the same if your favorite is not mentioned.
my favorites are engadget and gizmodo.
They're very similar. Gizmodo seems slightly satirical and more culturally focused, but they were both founded by the same guy.

Hi all!
I´m a moderate user of a X10 Mini but a devoted Androidfan and writer for the Swedish newsblog/reviewcenter Swedroid.se.
Our readers are very interested in your brilliant work to fastforward the development of non-Vanilla handsets as you solve our problems with speed and accuracy. The forum discussions are largely modification-focused where you play a vital role.
As for myself I usually write about trends and interesting events on a pretty large scale, one of my latest articles was summing up the (western) mobile industry for 2011.
But, to the point here. I´d very much like to conduct an "Inside XDA"-interview with any and all developers here willing to answer a few questions. Partly because you DO deserve some spotlight and partly for my personal interest for programming
However, the really nice thing with such an article would be to serve as a "meet the fans"-event and a look inside the exciting world of xda-developers! We could for example announce the time for the article to be published so that you may answer questions in the comments right away
You may choose how to be presented in the article, full name with a pic or anonomous - it´s up to you.
So, if you feel like sharing your developer-life with our growing readerbase, please PM me!
Welcome to forums
How about giving your readers the link to our Portal, over there you can find nice interviews with Chefs and Developers.
Thank you for the tip, but I can´t seem to find any interviews, been looking here: http://www.xda-developers.com/category/android/
Also, I´d like to conduct this interview with the perspective of "Average Joe" if possible, meeting the persons and their interest for solving problems rather than discussing these subjects from a more technical standpoint.
I can add that I despise the tabloid-media so the interview will be both balanced and "down to earth" meaning I wont bend it in order to attract maximum attention or provoking maximum debate - the developers and their passion for programming itself will do that just fine.
Our readers expect a high standard language and professional content, and I´d love to give them xda
Go take a look over at DA, under the categories. You won't find a single category for our dear little Andy. Nope, nada, not even a wallpaper section. Of course iPhone/iPod has had its own section, which you have to expect.
But just take a look here at XDA, and you will see a wealth of talented individuals making amazing designs for our little devices. So why no love for Android? Its not like it hasn't been suggested. I first put in the suggestion back last August, and again a few days ago.
There has even been others suggesting Android at least get a section in the wallpaper category. And i think this would at least be a good starting point. But with the wealth of customization options for Android, DA seems like the perfect place to post all your wallpapers, icons, docks, and themes. There needs to be a whole new slew of Android based categories on DA.
So head on over to the link below; it will take you to Moonbeam's forum for posting new category suggestions. If anything at least post a +1 to the comment I love (I'm 'hornsholdmyhalo'). Or post your own comment about what should be added, and why it should. Lets flood her with the Android love
TL;DR - No Android categories at DeviantART, Go to link, post there should be.
And yes this is my second time posting this. She closed the old thread, so its time to show Android that amazing support once again.

Hey xda!
I recently opened a blog about myself and tech. It's a mix of my life, like school and other weird things, and opinion related articles about mobile technology like Android and iOS.
I would love constructive criticism about what I can do to improve, and what you like.
Things you could talk about:
-Writing Style
-Blog Design
-Article Content
I'm looking into also doing a few news sourcing from other giant blogs/tech sites like TechnoBuffalo and The Verge. I plan to be a web designer, (php, html, javascript, jquery and mysql), a graphic designer (logos), and a journalist. Those 3 interest me the most.
Here's the link: http://blog.cypenetwork.com -- thanks guys!
(Some traffic wouldn't be so bad either )
Good luck with your blog, but XDA does not allow advertising, which is essentially what this thread amounts to. Closed.
Hey there,
My company posts a question most weekdays to its audience on Twitter. Today's question was "iPhone or Android?".
If you're on twitter and you'd like to weigh in, here's a link to the post:

Please be constructive, and not FLAMING OR PROVOCATIVE, if you choose to respond. This is after all the company I work for. We don't have many followers, but we do try to be technologically relevant.
Thanks everyone!
Dave
Hey guys, there's a contest going on in my local town, I was hoping to see if ya'll could give me some comment likes. I'd win a ipad mini!
So a direct link is here: Mod edit: Link removed
It's under the post by "Eric To" which says:
"The curry fish ball soup is my favorite because of the richness of the soup and the balance of fish balls, veggies, and the over-easy egg. #BPbacktoschool"
It has 63 likes currently. One guy has over 160, but he was using some bot, he got those in less than 30 mins.
If that link doesn't work properly, my comment is on the first page of this site:
Mod edit: Link removed
It's on the first post, the "back to school" post. Once you click the comments section you'll see my post detailed above.
Thanks!
XDA is a site for the development of Android and Windows devices. It is not here for the purpose of diverting traffic off the site so that you can win free stuff.
