T-mobile MDA compact II

Hi everybody !
I'm posting here because i'm quite desperate...
I bought a T-mobile MDA compact II at Mobilejoker.de believing it was a s110 clone.. But it fact the processor is not the same... :shock:
So the s110 roms does'nt work...
My first astonishement was it's working with WMM5..
So my question: does anyone know how I could have it in french ? With WM2003 or 2005, I don't really care..

At the moment, you can only get roms in english or german and wm5 only. downgrading to wm2003se isnt possible.

And while I'm wiating for a french rom, do you think it's possible to change the langage of the dictionnary to frnehc ? (for sms, transcriber, etc..) Thanks !!

you will have to wait for official ROM releases from T-Mobile as the charmer has less variants unlike the wizard.

Problem downloadins WM6.1

Hello,
I was trying to download the new WM6.1 from www.htc.com, but it won´t let me, when I write my S/N number its gives the following message:
"Sorry, this software download is not suitable for your device."
Does it means that my Tytn II can´t upgrade from WM6 to WM6.1?

You can only register HTC branded devices, if your device is a O2 XDA Stellar, AT&T Tilt, Orange TyTn 2, Vodafone VPA Compact V etc...you will not be able to register.
Please search on the forum before starting a thread like this, this has already been covered.

You can find all the ROMs from that site in the XDA-Devs Wiki.

Thanks, but mine is an HTC branded device, that´s why i found it weird when that message was shown.

Then Contact HTC support.

times for a question from a noob. my English is not so good and I find it difficult here in what forum to find. soory.
Own an MDA vario 3rd. Two questions please.
Can the SPL hack again Undo, so the T-Mobile remembers nothing of it when I send back?
And if I had the opportunity to Emperor against an MDA Vario 4 with keyboard exchange, you should do this or speak because something against it? The advantages and disadvantages of a MDA VARIO 4 interested me.

i found tho orig. t-mobile rom for my mda vario 3, but i dont know what for a SPL File.
Provider is GERMAN T-Mobile. I think I cant take HTC or ATT - Files, or???

The MWg Zinc II is not a Kaiser. It is made by MWg, I don't believe that it is made by HTC for MWg,
I could however be wrong, it is not on the XDA site though
Edit 1 : ignorance is bliss, I spoke too soon . Just google-search the site and you will find info.

i have MDA Compact IV from ERA from POLAND
can i upgrade my MDA witch roms for diamond ?
i hear that MDA Compact and Diamond are the same device and only case is difrent, that's true or falshe ?

My friend has just got the MDA version. Is there anyway to get the Diamond style case for it? It's a T-Mobile version for the record
