Hello eveybody, my Weather database editor doesn't work anymore ! the first time, after install the framework, everything was ok, I could open it and add news cities but after turn off and turn off the Diamond my new cities as dissapears and when I open Weatherdatabas editor I can't open the country list and add new city !!

I had the same problem after Theme change.
Just remove and reinstall it ;-)
Problems with weather database editor
Everything was woking fine for me also. Then I changed themes and such, but the database editor now says File write protection couldn't removed

Normally, before WDE installation, you backup'ed your original _manila files (the 2 ones that I spoke in this thread). So, just restore them and re-install WDE.
If you don't have hem anymore, disable TF3D, go to \windows folder, delete (with a "true" file explorer like Resco Explorer or Total Commander) 2330fc3c_manila file, soft-reset, re-install WDE, backup 2330fc3c_manila file (now, it's the original), re-install WDE et re-edit your cities.

Hi,
I have the same Problem... but I can't remove the Files. Resco Explorer says that these are "ROM Files" and can't be removed...
Any other Idea? Thanks for any help...
Edit: Just tried it, it works perfect with version 1.1...

well i tried to delete manila but resco says you cant. i cant uninstall wed or reinstal again it says install failed

I had the same Problem.
After i installed .NET Framework and the Weather Database Editor i would to add my city.
After that i didn't see the cities.
After that i maked a soft reset. (off/on device)
Add my city again, and it works...

I had to use this version on my Touch Pro as well. The 1.2 version would not work, nor would the original.
both versions dont work on my xperia with touchflo 3d 3.0.38196.3.
the normal version doesnt start with the error that the files cant be accessed. the other version starts but after i added my city, touch flo every time crashes and does rebooting when i go to the wheater tab. an ideas? wheater is useless without my city ^^

Do anyone know when weather database editor 1.3 is coming or at least a version that can be used in Dutty's HD V2.1 XTREME ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=488963) ??
Maybe this workaround here works for you guys, too... I used it after the official ROM upgrade on the Touch Pro to solve the file protection and other issues...

Inside the .rar is a cab and 4 files. Make sure you disable any HTCHome today plugin that may be running. Then install the cab. After the cab installs, it will ask you to reset. Cancel that and copy the 4 files to \Windows. Then reset.

HELP. I have search and cannot figure out what is wrong with Theme generator.
When i go to click on the picture icon the following comes up in french...and yes i have the english version. I don't know french so i don't know what it is saying. I would love to get it fixed. I love using it and making my own themes.

Just a quick update for those interested in a light rom. I don't have much time right now to cook, but I've done some times ago a light rom in french.
This rom gives you 43 Mb free of storage after reset.
You can use UPX to reduce program size to get more space. This way, I have quite a lot installed on my device.
French users can use this, english can use the kitchen, and use the same folder and file structure ( by deleting non existing folder and files in the OEMdriver folder and oemapps) to get the same result.
To flash, use customruu program, run it as admin in the same folder as this nbh file. Rename the nbh file to RUUSigned.nbh
MAKE SURE YOU HAVE HARDSPL

I don`t think there is much difference with age of reason. I improved my knowledge between this one and the latest age of reason one.
Also, I think I didn't keep it ;-)
indeed age of reason is amazing. i ve got 25 mo of ram with pagepool set to 4. however it s not in french

I've got a SHIFT and, as a lot of people, i've wanted to use it at all !!! ;-)
So, i've tried a lot of roms and... Stoped to the IOO, an of course, not in french. I've tried all the responses done by the different users found on this forum, and, none's working ! :-(
So, can anybody give us a CAB with all the dll's and files to translete our EN SHIFT in a french one ?

There is no cab to change a rom to french. You need to ask the rom creator to make a french version. I doubt I00 has any french version.
I've done one without phone, if you can still find it. I don't have much plan to make a french version from current rom.

1.- Fast very fast rom
2.- Mem, after hardreset and softReset 104
3.- Phone is not activated by default (no big issue)
4.- Error reporting is on (better if you turn off)
5.- Device Information is wrong ("Touch DIamon2 T5353), for some apps this can be a problem, better if you set Device info as Touch HD

whitelist Opera, Tmail are there, Opera does rotate, Youtube also, Tmail does not
8.- You have include MSVC and cyberon.. why? one is ok
9.- No auto Network config, I had to go to conecting and run the wizard
10.- The bigger problem, Opera shows a white screen the first time Open after every softreset.
steps to reproduce:
1.- SoftReset
2.- Open Opera.
3.- Htc logo... after some seconds a white screen
workaround:
1.- Go Opera menu, select Exit
2.- On popup select cancel
3.- wait and the HTC search screen is there, after this, any other page works.
No Zoom Slider on Opera... Here a cab that fix it

apart from what the previous user posted, the home button doesn't work, but i know there are cabs to fix it, but it would be nice if it was fixed in the rom, would feel more finished.

for home button i've tryed the cab but some shortcut in new strat menu doesn't work.... Home buttons go back to manila, not home of manila.... You will be able to install or not the cab!
I have verizons samsung onmia 2 i920 and it has two default themes for the start menu a green and a red one. I have tried searching for others on google but i dont think im searching for the right stuff. Are there any themes out there besides those two? Thanks if anyone can help
There really are no themes for that menu. There are however themes for the Korean Main Menu that you can install with a cab file. The language is english, so you don't have to worry about that. it's basically the same thing but faster.
