Hola!
While playing around with my Diamond while having a few beers I somehow managed to get rid of the todayscreen and the big clock. Anyone knows how to fix that?
Thanks in advance.
flick down on the home screen with your finger.

How many beers?
Are any of the other tabs there or did TF3D completely disappear?
go into Settings -> Today (Items) and make sure TouchFlo 3D is checked

Sorry i was just assuming he`d lost the big clock, as many people are managing to do!!
Thanks guys, I had a lot of beers
Now it works, I'd managed to scroll the clock away from the screen and also managed to uncheck Touchflo 3D, things are working again

Not that ive seen, it does that so you can see all your today stuff.
you can use some application for today screen with tabs. i use Ultimate Launch, but there are some other apps that do something like this. try searching for "tabbed today screen".
i use spb pocket plus... i think its a little more user friendly... UL is a little settings crazy
I have just purchased the MDA Compact iv on T-Mobile UK.
I am having a few problems changing the background picture. When going through the settings/today, checking the "Use this picture as background" and selecting the picture, it does not change?....can someone help?
You have to change it in the TouchFlow 3D Settings page.
I must be thick as mince (noob)....how do I change the Touchflo 3D settings?
I tried doing it from the settings menu, but only gives me 3 checkbox options to change the size of the start menu etc?
Apologies again for my stupidity
Doh!!!!....found it!
Cheers mate!

tried this already and does not work on mda.
Is yours tmobile mda 4?
Yeah mate. I done it this way......go to the settings icon along the bottomand select Wallpaper. It will then ask you if you would like to use the default wallpaper......the answer is of course no. You then just select the picture from whatever location you want.....easy eh!!? ;-p
Hi all,
Just a quick question. I tried S2U2, and I like the principle, but I don't like the slide thing as I don't like the smudges it causes on the screen. That's why I am not a fan of Touchflo etc etc etc
Is there a similar programme that you can just touch/tap the screen once (instead of sliding finger all across the screen) or use the D-Pad?
What interests me is the ability of the programe to use animated gifs, clock etc.
Many thanks in advance.
Did I search? hmmmmm.......
Regards,
MAC
Go to the S2u2 settings and turn the D-pad ON and then you can use the D-pad.

You might want to have a look to Sunscape too, you can unlock the screen by finger or D-PAD, the mechnism is basically the same but the idea behind is really cool.

Thank you!!! I am going to try it out. I found that S2U2 crashes my Homescreen (Batterystatus) programme so I had to uninstall unfortunately as I like Homescreen ++.

Hello guys does anybody know a way of being able to see more than one calendar appointment, or the device lock icon, or skype icon on the Home screen of Manilla ROMs?
I tried a search but I didn't come up with anything substantial or useful enough to follow.
Thank you in advance

Take a look at the SecondToday plugin... If you use the TouchFlo2D settings tool (search the forums) you can make a softkey on the main tab that says something like "Agenda", and link it to secondtoday. Then use an application like G-Alarm and / or TodayAgenda for your today screen plugins. Inside of SecondToday you can set a softkey to "return" to TouchFlo2D by pointing it at SecondToday.exe (this kinda tricks it like the OK button)
This is what I have done, and it's very slick and solved my issues. Hopefully it helps you.
Thank you very much for the help
It's neat, but I want it gone for the original Windows Mobile UI because it's being a nazi about letting me flip screen orientation.
...and, if I do get rid of it, will regular menu scrolling still be finger-drag operated?
you can get rid of it by cooking a new rom but that's kinda complicated... just disable it from settings > Today... Items... uncheck TouchFlo.
awesome that worked perfectly... but now it's just a blank screen with bars at the top/bottom... how do I enable the large clock that's usually on WM default screens?
I tried enabling other things in that same Settings > Today > Items menu, but none of them seem to be the large time/date display.
you shouldn't disable TouchFLO or Manila2D if you want the big clock or find a clock plugin.
