Hello Guys,
I am interested in syncing my Diamond with my Google Calendar.
Any Help ?
thanks
you can sync your Google Calendar with your Outlook first and then sync your outlook with your Diamond. Google has a software for synchorizing its calendar with Outlook.
GMobileSync
I Use GMobile Sync on my artemis, it's working perfectly for me, maybe it's also what u r searching for. Here's the link

Daniel

For a single calendar sync oggsync is free. Or upgrade to a yearly sub of US $30 and you can sync to multiple calendars and contacts.
There is a desktop and mobile version of the app. I only run it on my Diamond now cutting out the step of having to sync to outlook and then outlook to mobile.

Is there a good app anyone can recommend for syncing the diamond with google calendar?
I am new here and thanks to all for the hard work on the diamond. Cant wait to get mine later this week!
Oggsync.

For manual sync it's free, and works perfect.
Try ActiveGsync (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-activegcsync-v1-0.html)
Haven't tried it personally but I hear positive stuff about this app. It has auto-sync as well and is freeware
goosync.com has a free manual two way sync program that I use
hi, i developed a small tool to synchronize the google calendar with pocket outlook. is a beta but if you want to give it a glance. In future also sync contacts.

I tested many google calendar sync programs. You may have a look at my blog entry here:
http://diamondstouch.blogspot.com/2008/07/google-calendar.html
However I finally gave up and paid for the professional goosync account. The non-commercial programs either don't work, sync only one calendar or work one-way. Since I installed goosync everything works without any hickups: multiple calendars, two-way sync, automatically scheduled. If this is really worth 20 English Pounds (for one year) is another question ...

Activegcsync for Google Calendar (multiple calendars)
Try Activegcsync by Gil Milow. Unlike other software I have tried (eg. GMobileSync), it works very well for multiple calendars (and contacts). It is available free.
Ca you help me, to find stand-alone mobile software to synchronize the diamond Outlook with a Google calendar.
I am not looking for a web site solution GooSync like.
I have tested GmobileSync, but it makes me some synchronizing errors…
Any information is welcome.
Thank you in advance
Hi, i use OggSync 4.19. It is easy and dont make any errors.
So you aren't interested in using a Exchange type solution? Like https://www.nuevasync.com/. It works flawlessly and can sync your contacts too. And it's free.
It's offline right now for a database rebuild (http://nuevasync.blogspot.com/) but try it out.

Personally, I think nuevasync is better, but it's a "web site solution", which you said you don't want.

I use OggSync too. Free version only syncs contacts though, the Pro version costs ~£30/year and can sync multiple calendars, even ones that have been shared with you.
It works well and you don't need a connection to a PC etc. I just wish there was a one off payment. I might look for a free alternative when my sub expires as I don't update my calendars or contacts much.

Just had a read and it only syncs one calendar. Doesn't look like it syncs contacts either, I know it's not what the OP asked for but I prefer the all-in-one solution.
I use oggsync with google calendar and its great. No errors. The pro version will allow you to sync contacts and multiple calendars.
My set up works well for me
WM Pocket outlook syncs with outlook on my home pc
google sync (official google app & free) syncs with outlook
Therefore everything gets synced !!!
second on oggsync. works great even with free version. Pro version can setup a auto-sync. you can keep it in background, and it will sync every given interval

It would be very usefull if I could sync my Outlook 2007 tasks with my G1. Anyone want to take this app project on?
There are a couple apps on the market now but only work for exchange. I need something to work without exchange being a requirement.
I would pay for this definately

For free?
If not, Touchdown and Moxier both offer Outlook Tasks syncing as is.
Well amazingly someone managed to get me somethign I knew nothing about! An HD7!! Quite a shock compared to my beloved HD2 but I am loving it mostly.
I wish MS had bothered to provide a few things though:
Proper MSN client
Sync with outlook calendar ( I understand the mail but the calendar sync loss is mad!)
GPRS/3G switch (without dabbling in service menus)
A PROPER GPS program (if T-Mobile Germany can do it why not MS!!??)
The only game I miss is Angry Birds - but I am sure that will come along soon. Plus let's hope WhatsApp comes to WP7 very soon too!

No background processing at present - it restarts every time you leave it - plus with Palringo for example you can have MSN/Yahoo/GMAIL etc all in one place.

Not quite - you have to copy your outlook calendar and then copy it to your connected hotmail account - a lot of faffing about - previously I could connect to my DESKTOP version of outlook so I could sync with outlook at work, at home AND hotmail if i wanted - now no local copy is possible!
Eh? Why?
GPRS woudl save a lot of battery when you dont need fast internet.
My understanding is that Bing Maps turn-by-turn SatNav will be in the update coming shortly.
Great news but I understood that doesnt work properly in anywhere but US?

hi guys/girls

the problem is ... is there a free app to transfer my contacts from outlook to android
ty.
use the email app and sync with outlook or search the market.
I did use HTC's sync which you can get from the HTC website. worked perfectly.
But I have now changed roms and it doesnt work on hyperdroid, so im using google for my contacts and used this method to get me calander from outlook to google
http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=89955
just thought id post i found this proggy was the easyest way to xfer my contacts
h**p://w*w.companionlink.com/android/
easy as easyness
ty for the other replys
I use Outlook and I also move from WinMo6.5 to Android. I used to sync my HTC to Outlook too.
But usually I also sync my Outlook to a online service (Hotmail, Google). Which service do you use Outlook with? Because Android can sync directly to most of the services and you won't need Outlook "in the middle".
Cheers.
Export contacts from outlook to Google via .csv. works like a charm.
Sent from my HTC Supersonic. Made by HTC tuned by cyanogen.

Downloaded it and tried it and did not like it at all so I removed it after just one go.
Perhaps I did something wrong but it made me run the program to get access to my contacts.
Did the google way instead and that worked well although now google knows even more about me.
Patrick
I use Android-sync.
Small free program which syncs with Outlook!
