WWW & JAVA - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Hi,
I have HTC Diamond. I try to open WWW with Java (internet bank site). I did it with both Opera and Internet Explorer. Running Opera I have no error message, but it does not open. Runnin gInternet Explorer I got message "Error 404: SRVE0190E: File not found: {0}". How could I open such a web page using my Diamond.

Read the related section in my W3C Presentation in the Wiki.
(Unfortunately, NetFront is pretty much inferior to CrEme or Thunderhawk.)

After exams
I have tried the mentioned. It doesn't work. I reaize that the page I need to open is loading "Java applet", e..g www.kb24.pl. which way to go?

Usefull tips for your new official wm6

(Please dont post to many questions here, lets keep it simple so that we dont get overflowed with questions probably answered 50 times before in other threads)
Ok, I want us to stick to one post if possible, for tips on how to in.ex make the HTC Home to work on our native languages.
If you have sollutions that works, post it here. (If you find the sollution in another post, give credits, and link to the post)
I found this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=316107
Here it explains how to rename the mui files in windows so that the HTC home will work:
I did following
Installed Total commander
I went to windows folder, I selected all files and folders, then properties, unchecked "read only"
Then I renamed
HTCHome.dll.0409.mui -> HTCHome.dll.0414.mui
HTC HDlg.exe.0409.mui ->HTC HDlg.exe.0414.mui
HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml -> HH_0414_WeatherCities.xml
htcbtql.dll.0409.mui -> htcbtql.dll.0414.mui
(0414 is the norwegian countrycode)
then voila, HTC Home on my norwegian wm6
New 26.08 The mfrazzz_CommManager_8button_wizard.cab
This commManager works great and I have no problems at all with it
New 26.08 Tips from fultotop regarding problems with installing the touch dialer in wm6 :
To Install reTouched Dialer you need to :
1. Delete delete this registry key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\PhoneCanvas
2. Install Wizard_reTOUCHed_Dialer2.cab
New 26.08 Fultotop have provided a reg fix.

just import to your registry with a reg edit program (total commander, link provided further up in this post)(see attachments for the reg file)

I can't even install the 10 button comm manager, not enough rights?
Anything I can do about that?
Now, thats weird. I could install it without any problems. Just accept any security warning and install it to the device. Don't know any more ways to "fix" it?
Which one did you install?
Do you have a link to it?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=320239
that one
Doh!
I forgot i had my cable attached to my Herald, thus enabling comm manager, thus not installing.
With no cable attached installed perfectly.
Could you please please please look at that registry entry for me? I need it for my WiFi button to work
I installed this and changed the codes to 041D (Swedish) and my Herald wouldnt boot again.. I had to reflash it with the Wm6 RUU.

u need to kill Comm Manager before u install it. If Comm Manager is still running in the background, itll give u that error. Close it properly first.
Btw the 9 button with 3g comm manager seems to be working fine. Wlan works on my herald (htc wm6)
8 Button Comm Manager with working wifi
If you don't want the Comm Manager with 3G use this one here.
Updating my first post
I'm using these cabs for HTC home on my P4350.
Five Tab HTC Home
HTC.Kaiser.Home.Eng.0409.5Tab.schen.N2A_WeatherPatched.cab
Six Tab HTC Home
HTC.Kaiser.Home.Eng.0409.6Tab.schen.N2A_WeatherPatched.cab
More info here.
I've tried the Wizard_reTOUCHed_Dialer2.cab for the new dialer, but could get it to display correctly, but it uninstalled fine.

DFRegEdit is expanded as Dotfred registry editor. It has been developed by our great friend DotFred. The package is known as task manager ver 2.7 which perhaps has been posted above..
Here's the main page for updates to the Task Manager:

jbed java question

is there any way to create a shortcut to a java app with out having to launch the java app then launching opera mini. i'd like to have a shortcut in programs that just loads opera mini up.
thanks for any help
you just need to create a shortcut like this :
51#"\Windows\jbed.exe" -run s0_
if Opera mini is the 1st java app, if it is the 2nd replace s0_ by s1 .....
Making a direct shortcut to Opera Mini (or any other Java Midlet)
I found a post HERE but couldnt get it to work on my xda orbit. If you can get it to work could you let me know?

I'm feeling like a noob here. Can someone please explain how to make that shortcut?
go to this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...ighlight=Opera
download the opera mini and selector link...copy and save the opera mini link to windows/start menu/programs folder then copy the selector file to windows/Appdb folder then you'll be able to set the Interenet explorer button in button settings to opera...this is also assuming you are using jbed java midlet...i'm not sure if it works on other java midlet managers...cheers...
Thanks to StrikeIII - answered this very same question for me. Just giving back

Opera Mini 4

When you guys/gals download the opera mini, what version do you use, i download it directly to the tilt and it says it cant recognize my phone model. Even going to the Operamini web site it doesnt list the tilt on the list.
Yeah it's going to say that. I'm running version 4.0.9800 which was the latest from the operamini website when I got it. Works great imo.

HELP!! I can't install Opera Mini 4 with Duttys V3???

Both of the files (.jar and .jad) say that it "cannot be opened because it is either not signed iwth a trusted certificate or one of its components cannot be found"
Whats going on??
Another problem: My Full Version of MioMap Version 3.0 GPS doesn't open on Dutty's Rom....it worked perfect on my default Tilt ROM
Any help greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks!
This is going to sound stupid but you did install a Midlet manager right, cause I think he left it out on V3 if I recall.
yes, you are missing a midlet manager
It was not included in duttys roms, I think it can be found in the latest cabs collection. Its also called Cloudyfa_EsmertecJbed.cab and i think this link should work: http://www.cinetsystems.com/xda/Kaiser Cab Collections/Cloudyfa_EsmertecJbed.cab
THANK YOU!!!
Also make sure you follow my articles - in my Opera 4 review, I've provided a Jbed download link long ago. So have I in several of my other posts.
