I have the HTC S730 with the original HTC ROM & Software, however I am unable to get the great VIPPIMRingTone app to work on my device to allow be assign ring tones to my various contact catagories.
Can advise or did any one help suggest something.
Hi there, Can anyone help me out.. i got the HTC TYTN II from ORANGE - UK and they have installed their own HOME PAGE which is CRAP. How do i get the original HTC Homepage Back. Any advise will be appreciated.

Same problem! Why mess with the HTC Home one and put in an Orange-branded one that's inferior?
Someone out there must know?
Goto Settings -> Personal -> Today -> Items and deactivate the Orange Item, that's it.

What I'm really looking for is the HTC Home application(?) where favourites, weather, etc. are all located. Can't find this on Orange-branded phone.
Hi dude, look in the thread titled all HTC applications, I think it is a sticky on here!
Download the cabs to you pc then put them on the phone and install them

Anyone else who was a complete noob at this like me, dont unzip and copy files to phone then look for a .cab file. just copy the zip file and run that on the phone. Took me hours to work that out.

I donwloaded in the forum th HTC album and isntaled on my device but nothing happened?

I got it to work at last!!!
I simply desinstaled the Cube (Leo2016 version) and it worked... maybe it was a bug?

I found a few minutes ago that HTC as relaesd a ROM, a Radio i think of the download URL. Is that the original or a new one? Does somone know smoething about that rom?
I download it and check it out after lunch

What are the version numbers?
I was on the site on minute before: 1.93 German, the new one !! but, to bad, all the 3 links are dead at the moment. Does anybody can host the file on rapidshare, please ?
From the URL, 1.93 just appeared on the French website, but there seems to be a problem with the website : trying to download ends in 404 Error.
Would ask the same like sky-base at this moment.
Would be a new V1.93 German ROM:
RUU_Diamond_HTC_GER_1.93.407.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe
But as said, all the links don't work. Tooooo bad!

Hi all.
Here is the updates on the new rom from Htc..
1. Enable GSM 850 band.
2. Fixed sometimes no signal issue.
3. Fixed no action while touching navigator control in camera mode.
4. Fixed some files in internal storage which cannot be listed.
5. Fixed SMS sound alert notification delayed issue.
6. Improved audio quality after audio booster is enabled.
7. Improved TouchFLO 3D tab switching and movement speed.
8. Improved home page loading speed.
9. Turned off the 5-second auto screen off function when screen is turned back on by pressing power key during a voice call. Screen off timeout will follow system power setting.
10. Added random access bar to the right hand edge of the screen for selection of weather countries and cities.

They are doing something because the old italian 1.37 ROM is still present but not downloadable any more.
I presume we'll have to wait a few minutes/hours.

damn, that's not possible for me because it's not a htc branded but o2 branded diamond...
could you upload the rom on rapidshare or something like that?
Hello - they posted the new ROM because of me - I wrote a long email to the support and told them about the worse actaul german ROM. I am happy that they listen to german customers.
Now the links are working.

have the new rom, but can't install it. maybe because i'm running bepe'S 0.96 rom. what i've to do to get the official new rom?

I JUST got my touch diamond today and it's a VERY nice upgrade from my HTC 8525. I'm customizing right now, and I'd like to get rid of the original music files in the library. Anybody know how to do that? I tried just deleting the files in the \Music directory, and they're locked.
