Best program to contorl Kaiser from PC

I am looking for the best program to control the Kaiser from the PC. Any suggestions other than the Windows PowerToy I am using, "Remote Display Control"?
Try Soti Pocket Controller Pro - http://www.soti.net/default.asp?Cmd=Products&SubCmd=PCPro
Works great. It's commerical app though. Well worth the $$ if you plan on using it a lot.
Another Suggestion
Another program that does this is called "mymobiler", it is free.

Works very well.
Thanks vectre2, great little program.
Not quite as good as Pocket Controller Pro (I had the four-day freebie) but not bad for free!
Download link seems broken. Can someone email it to me? If so, PM me.
also see the Wiki for complete reviews & comparisons
I use SOTI.
It has a registry editor and file explorer as well and you can skin your PDA.

Music ID/Shaznam for Diamond?

Anyone got an app that works like Shaznam/MusicID for HTC Diamond? The MusicID app doesnt run properly due to the VGA screen - plus its for smartphones, so doesnt support the touch screen.
The iPhone has a real nice Shaznam app to identify songs and I would love to see this for the diamond. Anyone have a solution?
bump!! Bump bump!!!
I've installed the smartphone version of this and yeah like u say it doesn't work 100% but if you run it and you see SONG ID image you can then press the LEFT button it'll start listening to the track and ID it if possible.
Its not idle and like you I'd like a proper version of this for the diamond too but just thought i'd put my 2p in.

Im bumping again - perhaps someone could develop something that supports the Diamond's VGA screen. Sadly this seems to be a case of iPhone getting better support than Windows Mobile.. again.
it's right. the iHypePhone always have better support...
anyway, i wrote a letter to shazam and asked them if they are planning to make a vga app or release a new music id and the answer was that nothing is in plan with winmo at the moment. duh

Get used to this. iPhone has really stolen windows mobile's thunder. The once thing we WM users had over the original iphone was 3rd party software support... now hardly anything new is being developed commercially for WM.
Shazam MusicID for Diamond
Found it!
I don't now if you just got it, but i've found the link to the rapidshare .cab for the VGA working version of Shazam MusicID .
Here it is:
http://rs239.rapidshare.com/files/154862245/MusicID_signed.CAB
Enjoy
Thanks to HDblogmobile.it
Thanks! Works great!
Work really great!
And far more convinient than the previous one I had on my tytn II
Thank you
EDIT: Sadly it is a trial only :/
I am having expiration issue
On my Nokia N95 Shazam also says, it's a Trial, but it works and works and works
Now I've installed the CAB from rupertone, but i can't find any Icon on my D

It is under "at&t music". I tested and the software does lock itself after the trial expired.
It can be simply unlocked by removing a bunch of registry entries in somewhere near HKLM\Software\MusicID.
It should be really simple to write a little app that whipe this out of the registry and then launch the application; but I do not have Visual Studio setuped right now and furthermore, I have no experience in mobile dev.

The entire key HKLM\Software\MusicID
This key does not exist until you ID a song, and it contains expiration informations. There may also be a way to fool expiration by replacing the values.
If one could write a very simple app that clear this reg key & then start the musicid app it would be great. It may even not be illegal because the binary will remain untouched. I would be pleased to pack everything in a shiny little cab!
Hmm 'Sorry, ID not found. Try Again!' I can't identify any song
Guys
Juste take a looh there
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=423342
I did it!
I managed to have it working by myself.
Here is the working cab, it should work out of the box. If you use this cab the shortcut will be created directly in the program folder instead of at&t and it will be uninstallable.
Enjoy!
EDIT: It will not expire anymore
yeah nice one mate works a treat
is this also a trial version?

Clean up applications

Just wondering what the best clean up application is for the touch diamond, fi need to clean up my reg/temp files etc, any kind suggestion will do cheers
i like pocket mechanic - reg cleaner and lots of other things to play with
i suggest sktools, the best cleaning tools for our diamond.
Anyone had some experience with MemMaid? I have it...it looks kinda good... Anyone know some facts?
Actually, every time I used a reg cleaner it screwed up something for me, both on my PC and on my PPC. I don't trust these applications any more and I would definitely advise against using one, unless you have a very specific reason.
sktools seemed a bit to complicated for me so i settled on memmaid cheers
Use what you want,
but don't delete the empty entries and folders ;-)
where does one find SKTools, do you have to pay for it?
what about the hard reset? I found this is the best way to clean up
Use this freeware "ClearTemp" (Author accept donations)

Dutty included this in his latest ROM so I gave it a try. Definately an easy and useful tool. Glad he included it.

win mobile applications

Hi,
I want to disable the touch flo 3d and i don`t know what applications to use for the today screen. Applications such as program launcher, different informations about the batery, network, memory, etc.
Sorry if this thing has been already asked somewhere else.
thanks
try having a look at Battery Status, there are a lot of skins available for it.
10x, but I also want programs to dispaly informations about the memory, wifi, program launcher, and progrmas like this, 10x for the batery post.
spbtoday, and there's loads of other today plugins, just google exactly what you want eg. windows mobile today program launcher and i guaruntee they'll come up

Another vote for SPB, a combination of SPB Pocket Plus and SPB Mobile Shell is superb. Today bundles together a few other things as well.
Are you willing to pay for software as these aren't free?
Spb Programs....worth every penny
I am running Spb Pocket Plus, Diary, phone, traveller & time (with Spb Backup as well)
Totally ditched TF3D as its only to get the girls (and I already gotta girl )
u can get skins for BatteryStatus (believe the name has changed) which show all the info u want... there is a big post full of them somewhere (think it is under Development and Hacking section).
yes I see that spb programs are very cool and I`m willing to pay for them.
Thanks

Memory freeing software

I used to use oxios hibernate but it doesnt work on the new phones. I was hoping somebody could direct me to the use of something similar to that.
It would be great if there was an msconfig type tool too lol
I use MemMaid. Works like a charm on the Fuze.
+1 for MemMaid. Has a function called ram-reclaim. Well worth the money. Very good Reg editor.
+2 for MemMaid
Dinarsoft makes it.
+3 for MemMaid
I'm using it since quite some time now and never had a problem.

I use both as well, SK Tools and MemMaid keep my Fuze "Fuzing" LOL
I used to use Memmaid and for some reason I would end up w/duplicate reminders and alarms on my Hermes. Has anyone experienced that on the Fuze? Otherwise I loved the program.
Oxios doesn't seem to work correctly on my Fuze either...
lol u guys, ill give it +7 after i get it haha
I'll give it a +8 then... That is the first to go on after a reset or flash.
someone want to send me memmaid?
I love this one:

The page is in Hebrew, but scroll down for the download linkies. The app is in the Queen's English. Works GREAT.

+ 1 for this app. Works great.
thanks for the recommendation on the htcaddicts one, it works really well
but how do some people have memory usage of 20-30 percent, when mine is 42% even after a reset

I have had that problem on my Fuze. Just un-check the "Rebuild Notification Queue" option and all should be good.
I use Space Reclaimer, simple, small, fast...
