MDA III ROM 1.12.00 WWE, is the latest one?

Dear all
I wish to UNLOCK my extended ROM, get rid of any cabs and make full use of it as STORAGE MEMORY (for programs, etc)
Can you please point me a link for instructions and relevant application to perfomr such a task?

Can you please also explain how to burn me a more recent English Firmware for both my ROM and Extended ROM ?

New to this upgrade business
I have a Vodafone VPx which is a Qtek 9090, with the following:
ROM Version 1.22.00 WWE
Date 10/22/04
Radio Version 1.06
protocol Version 1337.38
ExtRom Version 1.22.155 WWE
What would be the best/stable upgrade available?
What,if any, are the differences between the Qtek and i-Mate updates.

I have Qtek 9100 in US (on ATT wireless network). Can I flash OS on my Qtek with firmware made for Cingular 8125?
My current version is 2.17.7.2 WWE
