2)Are the driver issues getting solved at all? We have such pimp hardware it hurts me to see it be so slow still.
3)I have kaisertweak, HTC home, and TCMP, and a cracked Opera, what are some other must-have programs tweaks or gadgets?

Pimp hardware? Come on, we all know you're some 19 year old white boy from Iowa, so cut out the urban tongue. And about the drivers, nobody cares anymore. My phone is insanely fast due to the ROM and tweak combos I run.

Hey, is there a system tray mod that displays currently running programs?
Such as tomtom displays an icon in the system tray when running in the background, whereas i want all currently running software to do that.
Is there a registry edit/ software that does that?
I looked all over the forums for a good hour and couldnt find anything in peticular that does that.

I follow tiltsite.com regularly, and yesterday they put up an intersting poll on which ROM ppl use on their (mostly) tilts. and although ROM development and flashing has been one of the most popular topics on these forum, it seems that most (about 75%) of the (343) people are sticking to the original HTC/AT&T ROMS. It will be interesting to see how this will evolve (especially if some of you decide to vote there).

actually the poll states 67% right now. That being said of that 67% I bet 60% haven't even unlocked their phones yet. Much less Hardspl them.

So yeah, its aditictive... And somethimes you get stucked, reeal stucked. I worked on my SPB theme but ended up playing solitaire. I tried to work on my new plugin (...) ended up watching eyes wide shut on tv. So I fired up the forum, and read, read and read some more when I decided to just let it all go! Let it all go in ONE BIG PILE EMOTIONS! And ofc. I ended up whit an significant amount of BS wich I just have to share whit you guys, cause thats what we do in this comunity Share <3

I am using the latest official ROM, but want a faster version. Can anyone reccomend a custom ROM that is mostly based on the official only stripped out and sped up? I dont want to go too custom. Make sense?
Hmmm, you don't seem that new so i'm surprised you asked this :S. There are different ROMs and you should try them ALL out (yes, i said all) to see which one best fits your needs. You have no idea how tedious and stressful (at times) cooking a ROM could be so it's only fair you go try them all out and decide for yourself
I asked only because there seem to be SO many, and I really just want a simple paired down plain-old stock rom. Nothing fancy, just a few "speed her up" tweaks built in. I wasnt about to ask in the ROM thread, thats suicide.. I thought here would be ok.
I have posted some here and lurked for a while now, but only flashed like twice. 1 custom then the 6.1 official. I am not a big flash junkie, only a speed freak.
Anyone got a suggestion?

I you want stock go with "Imnotatreofan" ROM - Stock At&T 6.1 ROM with no bloatware - I have run it and it is very good.
If you want F-A-S-T - the try the "NoThrills" ROM - I am currently running this one and love it. Sorry I don't have links, I just saw your post and thought I would reply.

Upon further inspection it works on every phone on every operating system
