Yea this would be great. Cant have my misses seeing my missed calls if you know what i mean

nothing eh?

What???
You can just delete the call from Call History. Can't you???
Select the Missed Call filter, this will list all your missed calls.
Highlight the call you wish to delete, and from options, delete it. You can also delete all the calls from the menu.

But this option is for delete individual call. If i delete all calls with Missed Call filter, also delete in and out calls.
How to delete only all missed calls (not individual missed calls)??

I'm looking for the solution to this also, anyone???

missed call today plugin

is there a plugin to display missed calls on the today screen w/ photos? I tried the PhotoDialer plugin, but some things about it bother me, and those are speeddial numbers not missed calls.
Try DKToday. It shows missed calls, and when you click on the missed calls line it dials the number. It also counts your used minutes and your SMS. Very usefull app! search the forum for DKToday, it is in the thread "Is there a call minute available for..." or something like that.

Deleting missed calls

Hi,
Is there any way to delete only missed call from the call list. (not going one by one).
We can filter for it. but, if we delete, call the call list gets deleted.

Unique sound for SMS from each contact?

Is anything out there that allows you to pick a unique sound to play when you get a text from different contacts. Same principle as setting a specific ringtone to a contact, but with SMS? So when Bob texts me, it plays sound A to notify me, when Sally texts me, it plays sound B.
Thanks!
Dan

Not bad, thanks. I'd prefer something that just manages ringtones (esp. SMS tones) instead of taking over the whole contacts/incoming call system.
try ringo mobile
Google "inboxtones" as well...
You do not need third party software for this
In contacts, click on edit contact information and assing a unique ringtone to each person you would like to have a distinct ring...

I think you missed the point.. last time I checked, that was only for an incomming phone call, not an SMS message...

aFirewall is free in Market now.

aFirewall allows you to configure multi-scenes to block different call or SMS at different time by now. Its features are as below:
1. You can add black number from call log, SMS log, contacts or add it mannually;
2. You can setup aFirewall password to protect your private black list;
3. Unread blocked call log and SMS log notification;
4. Option to disable and enable aFirewall blocking notification;
You can download from market now because it is free. I am looking forward to your comments. Thank you very much.

thanks for the apk bro, u r the man!
I had made it free today. You can download from market directly and have a try. I am looking forward to your comments. Thank you very much.
Looks like a good free app but sends the call to voice mail. Would be better if for an incoming call the phole answers then hands up. This has a two fold benifit, first the spammer is charged for phoning me and second no voice mail.
if there is an incoming call, does the app block the call instantly or will the phone rings then block?
will there be a notification of the blocked calls? coz personally i dun want to see who's call i blocked......

Yeah, I noticed that with other firewall apps too. They all send to voicemail. That's part of the standard OS if you just click "send all calls from voicemail" under the contact for that number.
I want something that blocks them, or better yet - set up a forwarding number for their individual phone#. I'd love to forward the telemarketers right back to themselves. ha.

aFirewall just endCall when the call need to be blocked. Woud you like to let me know the call will be send to voicemail automaticlly when the call was rejected in your operator? That is to say, this is a default configuration of your phone as my Nortel IP landline phone does.
I can add a feature to aFirewall to forward a call to another number when a call was rejected.
Thanks.

If a blocked call was incoming, aFirewall end it instantly and no rings. And no notification was sent to you in default configuration. But your can enable it if you want this. Thanks.
How did you go about hanging up the call on incoming. I have looked into this and from what I can see this is not in the current version of the SDK.
If you could post some code that would be awesome!
Thanks
this app does not work at all....i added a contact to black list and have it set to block both calls and sms, and im still getting the calls and messages from that person... :/

[Q] Remove SMS from call log?

I notice since Froyo, the Call log now records even SMS received and send. This makes for a long and messy log if you do a lot of texting.
I only want the Call Log to show calls but the "View as" menu only have separate options for calls received, made and miss. There is no way to view all calls.
Is there a hack or settings somewhere I missed out? Or alternatively, can we disable the logging of sms totally?
same question as above..
the reason i registered to this forum is only this, its very annoying,
there must be a fix or android must fix this, sometimes i miss my iphone call list, where there is not an endless list with both recieved, called and sms, worst is that its not imbedded within each contact.
if that was possible then i can manage to have the sms log in there to.
and why not have the option of having both recieved, called and missed in the same settings.. doesnt make sense at all..
im sorry for this to be first post, i a total noob when it comes to coding for android, which i intend to learn..
thank you for a great forum btw..
i hope there will be a fix to this
/valle
I would like to have a fix for this too. The call log gets extremely long.
since froyo upgrade i am having the same issue. whts the use of logging text msgs anyways.. it gets recorded on its own thread. Me and my gf text a lotttt. now if i want to call someone from my history logs.. i cant simply find them cuz i have to scroll down 500 msgs to find that number.. there shud be fix for this thing..
Still no fix eh?
I tried selecting one of the options, such as "dialed calls" and it works... until you close the log and then try to make another call, and it all comes back to the same story... wtf android?
