Hey Omaga, thanks for the thread, but i'm so stupid that i cant decide what rom to install, i have a trin100, and i need a new rom in portuguese.

Go to http://europe.htc.com and register on HTC e-Club, then just download the ROM but it's the WM5 ROM.

Hello to everyone!!!
I read all threads and find one link to download eng rom for htc jade...
so i have problem...my jade is on german...but i need eng rom....
This rom RUU_Jade_hTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.40.721.2_Radio_Signed_J ade_12.27.30.09_0.27.30.09_Ship
is not good for my device...it says error 294....so please help me with this to solve this problem...will buy you a beer...thx in advance....

hi, I'd like to upgrade my O2 Germany Branding on HTC Touch Pro2
can someone tell me whether it's going?
I did downloaded "RUU_Rhodium_HTC_GER_1.19.407.1_Radio_Rhodium_3.44. 25.27_Signed_Ship" but my Provider-branding can not update

i thoght qmat could only be used to flash from stock-rom to stock-rom?

This Rom here is a stock-ROM
So if i´m not wrong you can upgrade this ROM with GoldCard-Methode.
If i´m wrong please let now.

yes this is a stock rom, but my vario V is from t-mobile with t-mobile branded rom, zekon´s is o2 branded
...don´t know if this will work

what it GoldCard-Methode? cann you give more info pls?

I have a German Version and installed WWE and then French version with QMAT without problem.

with QMAT only? have you manual & tutorial how I can update my O2Branding with QMAT?

I also have an O2 branded ROM. Is it possible to upgrade without the hardspl?
Can someone post a link to the german rom? My S/N does not work :-(

take a look @ the first post or in the wiki, there is link to an DLserver.....
remember, you can not install this stockROM without a hSPL
the hSPL is in working....

Htc Opal change language

How to change language from German to English? My rom version is 1.35.112.6 Plz HELP

You'll have to flash an English (WWE) ROM.
What you would need to do that can be found here:
[GUIDE] Step by step instruction to install/flash a custom rom: You should read this to understand what you are about to do and how to do it.
Opal Hard-SPL: You need to flash this first to be able to flash whatever ROM you want (more info can be found in the previous link).
An English/WWE ROM that you like. If you want to stick with a stock ROM you can try the one here in this link (for the record, I haven't tried this ROM myself and I no longer have an Opal to test it) or you can try whatever custom ROM you like from all the ones available in the ROM development section
P.S:
I replied here instead of replying to your PM so that other can benefit and/or correct me if there are simpler ways.

PLS HELP!
I flashed this rom now phone stuck on SPL area ( 3 coluor) and it says " your OS ROM isn't customized for your hardware."
what to do. my phone is Tmobile MDA Basic. I upload HSPL. SPl is now : 2.00.cmon
I uploaded 2 rom one is: RUU_Opal_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.35.720.2_infineongsm4.1.13.66_03.29.90_Ship
and other is: OPAL_original_ROM_1.35.xx.xx
pls need to revive the phone urgent. client makes problem. any help!

Rom date:10/14/09
Radio version:4.49.25.17. Now,how i can update my rom version,or these is the last version? I try via HTC,but,i am confused! Please help! Thanks,and sorry for my bad english!

- I want to use the latest OS available, but that is not possible officially so I am here .
1) I need to install Hard-SPL Unlocker for Topaz, from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520312
2) The touch diamond radio is already 4.49.25.91 so no upgrade require.
3) I need to select a OS from here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=486) and upgrade.
Now I am not able to ask any question on the above forum as I am new here So I will keep reading to find my choise...

You are in right track
You need to do the Hard-SPL to upgrade the ROM. Once you are done keep trying some ROM and you should get one for your style .

thank you, I have done with the Hard-SPL and installed Dutty ROM as first test... let me try one by one and see for few days.
