As a former Tytn/8525 user, I enjoyed the one button access to the Comm Manager. I used it all the time to limit my power costly modes.
So I installed Spb's Pocket Plus for the Button assignment capabilities. But the default Comm Manager page does not show up as an application when I go to assign the buttons. Several of the 6 Button .cabs on the Kaiser .cab page DO show up.
So my problem is, I wan't to use duttythroy's 10 button black 3g comm manager .cab, which by far is the best and the WiFi switch works, but it also does not show up as an assignable application for a button.
What can be done to accomplish this?
Thanks for any suggestions!

by default, the AT&T rom hid the comm manager from the start menu. You need to add the application's shortcut to the startmenu before you can assign the button. Go into the windows directory and find commmanager.exe and make a shortcut (on your start menu/programs) to this app. Then you can map the app to a button.
if you are using a non-default comm manager, then exe is probably named commmanagerlink.exe
I'm wondering if there's a tweak, add-on or shortcut command for the Comm Manager on my TyTN II that would add the ability to mute the sound. As it stands now, Comm Manager will switch between sound and vibrate, but not allow me to turn off both. With my fat fingers it's very difficult to click the sound icon on the top bar and then click the 'Off' button in the dialog.
Thanks in advance.

Hiya,
I find it really annoying to go all the way to comm manager and switch bluetooth on when I jump in my car. (And face it, keeping bluetooth on drains battery like crazy)
I'm looking for a simple program that let's me switch between bluetooth "on" and "off" with a single touch. And it needs to be on the today screen or next to the windows/start button.
Anyone know such a program? Tnx in advance
kind regards,
Mark
I use this freeware for XPERIA here:

Works well for TouchPro.
I use bt toggle. You can put a shortcut in your start menu and you're two taps away from turning on/off bluetooth. Alternitavely, you can create a voice tag. It's a tiny program and it works great.

Haven't tried the others, but I stopped with this one. It's very cool, opens nothing and is literally one single press to turn it on.
I use SBSH PhoneWeaver, then I have big buttons for Phone, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPRS connection on/off right on the home screen (I don't use TF3D).
Found AEBPlus. It works great. Assigned pressing "hang up button" 3 times to switch bluetooth on/off. http://ae.inc.ru/aebplus.php And it doesn't use up that much memory.
i used to have the simple shortcuts to simple programs in my program tab
but if you download the diamond action screen it has shortcuts to texts, email, notes, tasks, wifi, bluetooth and others and its real simple i just put it as softkey on main menu

I try it is very good for every thing
Bluetooth on off
Wi Fi on of
Phone reboot , off , screen off
all buttons you have you can make it single press , double , triple , long
So you have for each button 4 function.
Thank you man for telling about this
I just have the HTC Action screen assigned to the left softkey. Pretty easy and fast
This exefile can do lot of things, mainly toggle between off/discoverable(all apps toggles only between on/off). It's enough just to write some commandline parameters into shortcut, while parameter "bsd" is for toggle off/discoverable.
Another thing I made,is the basehue changer while bluetooth is active,so while is off,all it's black, when any other state is,basehue changes to blue. It polls each second to get the state. It's a mortscript file, you can copy into the startup folder.
Enjoy.
how to make a shortcut in the menu, which to turns on th bluetooth and connect to the default headset (or the headset name)
Thanks
You can use for instance the battery status tool and enable the taskbar buttons. Then you can enable BT from the todayscreen. If you like to have it in the start menu then you can browse with lets say resco exolorer or something like that and create a shortcut in the /windows/start menu folder.
Good luck.
I installed the fixed vlingo (works great!). What I would like to know is how to change the bluetooth headset button to activate vlingo instead of MSVC. I have tried changing HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\VoiceCommand\ "Path" from \Windows\sddialer.exe to \Program Files\Vlingo\vlButton.exe but MSVC continues to override this edit. MSVC continues to work and is somehow preventing vlingo from being activated. Are there other reg keys that need to be edited to change the operation of the bluetooth headset button? Any suggestions are appreciated!
