Does anyone know how to change the skin of the automated windows lock screen?? the default one is ugly...
+ 1 to that! Anyone?
Organic Lock
I know about a tools named Organic Lock (or something like that)
But I'd like to know if any of you has a more "sweet" lock screen. Some sort of S2U2 but when a "Password".
ya, just a better skin for the windows password would be great i was using omega 1, 1-pass before, but it is not compatible with windows mobile 5 and 6
Nthing this request - that lousy PIN screen has been like that for god knows how many versions of WM, anyone know if its skinnable, etc?
anyone??
Anyone managed to find this file?
Basically i was just hoping to invert the colours so that it is black rather than white.
Come on?
Anyone? Please! It looks so damn awful in comparison to the TouchFLO screens.
I use Sensor lock instead http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=422871
As i could not believe how ugly the default unlock is.
I think there is a slide to unlock app, looking like the iphone one
SensorLock Pin?
Thanks for your reply rscreen but is there a way to pin protect with SensorLock? My main reason for not using SensorLock is that it's OK to lock the buttons but if I leave my Diamond laying around anyone could pick it up and unlock it without the use of a PIN? I'd just like to "theme" the PIN screen.
You could give this one a go:-

Bump please anyone ? Su2u is very ugly and wm lock also
This would be nice
bump!
Anyone have a nicer skin or a way to apply a nicer skin to the default windows pin pad.
I am required to use the pin due to exchange policies so I cant use the other apps.
Any help is much appreciated.

I know this has been bumping since few years now without any solution! Probably there is none that exists, but with exchange policies, this default pin lock is T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E. Someone please do something nice!

Hi, I am bored of the key lock screen and was wondering if there is a way to skin it or a alternative bit of software to use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
This is probably the kind of thing you're looking for.
http://www.mobiletopsoft.com/pocket-pc/freeware/download-s2u2.html
yeh, it looks pretty good, i kind of want the pin lock though. Even if there was a way to have a black background instead of the white. funny, no matter how cool the phone and how much stuff it can do theres always somthing you want different
I agree, that pin code lock thing is terrible-looking...like the default calculator. The windows mobile interface gets a complete overhaul, and these 2 things get left behind in 2003!
here is the link to throttle Lock

does anyone think they can adjust it to fit are diamond.....
here is the discussion about it..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=419525
have you tried it as is on the Diamond? It might work no?
It works .... I am running it on my diamond ...
just have to change the background image to fit VGA screen...
look in the installation folder... back.png

Will give a try!
You are talking about the black transperent box on the upper left right?
If so thats awesome!
Thanks for the tip !
hey you think it works fine.... it is supposed to be bigger..... i adjusted it but it is difficult.... notice on yours the dots are very small and far apart from each other...
what about S2U2 with android unlock pattern ?
i think it would be really cool if the android unlock pattern can be combined with the S2U2 app.
coz, i've tried both.
and the throttle lock only lock the screen, unlike the S2U2 that also lock the button..
so, i think it would be awesome to have S2U2 with slide pattern to do the unlock action..
just my opinion, but i'll be really glad if the dev. implement it..
hi.
i had two Diamonds and both of them had same problem with throttle lock - if phone is not used for a long time (ex 8 hours) lock system is gone, it doesn't work anymore + start bar is gone too. Maybe somebody had similar problem? 1,93 and 2,03 soft's (stock).
Hi all,
Just a quick question. I tried S2U2, and I like the principle, but I don't like the slide thing as I don't like the smudges it causes on the screen. That's why I am not a fan of Touchflo etc etc etc
Is there a similar programme that you can just touch/tap the screen once (instead of sliding finger all across the screen) or use the D-Pad?
What interests me is the ability of the programe to use animated gifs, clock etc.
Many thanks in advance.
Did I search? hmmmmm.......

MAC
Go to the S2u2 settings and turn the D-pad ON and then you can use the D-pad.

You might want to have a look to Sunscape too, you can unlock the screen by finger or D-PAD, the mechnism is basically the same but the idea behind is really cool.

Thank you!!! I am going to try it out. I found that S2U2 crashes my Homescreen (Batterystatus) programme so I had to uninstall unfortunately as I like Homescreen ++.

Is there any other program out there besides throttlelock? The only real complaint I have with throttlelock is the lack of diagonal pattern support.

Fantastic program mate
Only thing I have noticed is that when I get an incoming call (im using HDIII with the opal dialer) the caller id screen from the dialer pops up instead of the throttlelock incoming call screen. It looks like your screen is in the background but the opal screen is ontop of it. Any ideas how to be able to toggle your incoming call screen on/off so that its either ontop of the opal dialer or off completely??

That's something I'm working on right now . The replacement is done but there are some collateral issues that need to be fixed .... I'll also add the option to unlock on call... but that's a security leak...

Looks great cant wait for the new version to come out. I love the bigger clock on the lock screen. I just use a black background to keep prying eyes away . Not so sure about the option to unlock on a call for a security program it would leave the phone wide open lol. Thats just my opinion but I would leave that out unless its been requested alot. Nice work I always put it on my phone after I flash a new rom. Wish I could write programs like that

It just gets better and better!! Hey, I just thought of a nice feature for maybe 0.6...I just don't know how to explain it very well. Your pattern doesn't have to use adjacent dots? Does that make sense? For example, in a 3x3 grid, the top left dot can connect to the bottom middle or even the middle right dot. Its just an idea I had, let me know what you think.
Can this be run with S2U2? What would be cool would be if the S2U2 app ran and once you slid to unlock you had to do the pattern unlock. So basically S2U2 is used for style and interface and the pattern unlock is used for security.

I'm not to sure. Give it a try! If it doesn't work, then just uninstall it. Let us know how it goes.
It is alright. I have to enable Throttlelock explicitly and then S2U2 is enabled on when my phone powers off. Then I had to unlock with Throttlelock before S2U2 which is reverse of what I prefer.

Sounds like alot of work to get your phone unlocked lol. Plus ThrottleLock is fully skinnable so you can make it look great with any background you want. Its better than S2U2 in my opinion.
My question is simple :
Is it possible porting lock screen ophone on g1. for compete iphone.
Look those images please:
Please tell me something
A little more interesting is the floating "O" on the standby screen. According to the description, docking the "O" onto the ring in the static bar below will activate the software. This could mean some sort of locking interface that Apple disengages with a horizontal swipe.

What do you think of this screen lock

If this is posted in the wrong section, I apologize
