As always I whould like to say HUGE thanks to MAMAICH...
- AKU3.5 (OS Built 15698)
- Real Crossbow Sound Themes, Dialpad, today & WM Player Skin (all rescale from Crossbow VGA version)
- IPNAT / Internet Sharring. share ur PDA internet connection with ur PC at the same time (tested, I'm posting this thread using this IPNAT)
- Wmodem hv been strip out since it useless and replace by IPNAT
- More manage MMS 3.16.16 (No need Enable_MMS.cab anymore, sorry about the old one)
- BTA2DP Supported, with newer AKU3 and above BTA2DP module. I dont know if it better or not since I dont use it much... but with my test, its far more better then the old one.
- Some extras app (Limited due the big fat new OS stuff)
- BT/Wifi Coex (if sometimes wifi refuse to turn on, just suspend the device and try turn on again.. hopefully U'll get lucky..)
Limited:
- Smartdialing Is not compatible with AKU3.5, the last supported is AKU3.3.
- STK didn't work (I've strip out from the rom due the critical rom space)
- Wifi must turn on first with WlanManager to use it with CommManager (old bug)
As always, this rom is on beta stage, any bug report is more then welcome guys..

NOTE:
Supported operators is just the same as 1.3.2 Version, and also the extrom is much the same as v1.3.2 only enable_mms.cab is not needed, please dont install it or u might end up hv two MMS account...

- Standarize.cab (reduce/standarize some resource for app that need big resource)
- Patch1 - GPS Ability to save everything, Ringer sound fixed

Ok.. just flashed this ROm. Initial performance of the interface is the same as Xplode 3.5.
But after instally three today plugins:
1. SPB Diary v2.1.2
2. Phone Alarm v1.58
3. SBSH iLauncher 3.0.01
the performance is very much slower compared to Xplode's 3.5. Everytime you open a menu or switch windows, there is a significant lag in the graphics redrawing.

Bluetooth Stereo
Hiya Helmi.. Just to confirm Bluetooth Stereo is working fine, as s the headset profile! A small note however, if you install teh windows Today Plugin, the audio stops after about a second!
Speed is good though! Seems stable..

Bugreport
Two bugs noticed:
screen orientation icon on today screen taskbar will only switch between landscape modes and not back to portrait.
Cannot set home page in internet explorer. Will revert back to default setting.

that quite interesting... I've seen xplode registry setting and there all standar, un tweaked registry... hmm... does BA not very good when we tweak it or does the tweak require another graphics tweak to make it work equal the overall speed.. I'll install thoose app and I'll try to learn the effect... in the mean time try the attached cab (standarize.zip) to standarize the tweak setting about cache.. and please report the result...

can u please gave me the today plugin? I need to test it.. cos in my test, I've syncing, wifi conected, and also play 15mb divX movie with PPC DivX player, and audio transmitted to my pc.. yes it skip a little but didn't stop playin the movie for about 1++ hour its only stop when I stop it... U might also try the standarize.cab for testing..

I've just reflashed Xplode's 3.5 and I can confirm the performance is better. My contacts in Pocket Informant loads faster, and there is no Today screen lagginess.
I also confirm the screen rotate bug. It doesn't rotate back to Portrait once you switch to Landscape. Need to go back to Settings > Screen to make it Portrait again.

Second confirmation of the Screen roation bug..
Noticed its a bit difficult to activate BT stereo as well! Any ideas as to how to make a button to switch it on and off??

screen rotate bug is ddi_d3d driver bug, thats why on the old rom I dont use it as default because it didn't fully support Porttrait/Landscape... hmm.. hopes we'll find a better driver...

I still believe broadcomm handle BTA2DP much more better then MS stack.. hopes I hv time to explore the Broadcomm again..

Create shortcut to soft reset

Hi all,
Did a search on reset/softreset cab and all sorts... Cant seem to find it!
Is there a cab or way to create a shortcut to softreset?
I installed a rom on a HTC Touch which came with it on the start menu but I couldnt figure out how to get this on my Kaiser.
I think some of the Kaiser roms do have it however I am not prepared to (for once) upgrade to another rom as I am more than happy with the HTC one (again, for once!)

trying to work out how to put something on the today screen

hi im really sorry if this is a double post to a known issue but i dont know what its called and my searches sofar havent helped
so far ive flashed my kaiser to duttys wm6.1 wwe 04/29/08
loving it works nicely with and with out the cube, on a firend rom and on pictures in the post your today screen thread ive seen that people have buttons on the bottom right of their today screen which are for things like bluetooth wifi task manager etc, what is this called? ive downloaded schapps battery status cab but this isnt what im after,
can any one tell me what im looking for and more importantly how to do it

i think its called Schap's Power & Wireless service Manager (shows Bluetooth/Wi-Fi on traybar)

I'm not certain this is the app I'm looking for...
In the standard ATT WM6.1 ROM there was an application related to bluetooth, located in start-programs.
I can't recall what it looked like, but I do recall there was a plethora of BT-related options there (if I recall correctly - they were BT profiles).
This app only seems to search for BT devices (immediately uopn execution). The app I'm looking for did not do this.

Turns out it's not a different BT manager, but rather
That the BT Profiles tab appears in BT manager application in some variants of the ROM ,and is missing in others....
Is there any way to check/uncheck which BT Mnager tabs are turned ON?
I double checked Schaps Advanced Config 3.3, but couldn't find any reference.

Nice ROM so far...
One thing though...
Everytime I have to soft reset my phone, or if I turn it off then back on. It has to reset up my connection settings for Tmobile. So its not holding the settings for me. (Tmo-US)
Love the new version of 6.5 though with the start button on the bottom of the screen.
edit: Tried sending an MMS and it could not send it.

2 things for me so far:
-Wifi icon when connected is activ sync icon.
-When wifi is on and my scrren will turn off then wifi automatically be switched off (thats ok ) but when I turn on my screen again wifi staing off.

I have also noticed that wifi shuts down when turning off screen, and comes back on when u turn the screen on...thats a new feature I belive well--for me it dont come on when I turn screen on, but when i update in.ex weather etc...
At first I was wondering why it was like that, but I have come to that its ment to be that way, and I have actually startet to appreciate it workin that way...
But im sure there are some regsettings to change it to old style, but I have not looked into it yet, but if I see anything Ill post it here

Going to give this rom a try, hopefully all goes well

Are you sure the settings are right? As long as arcsoft is there, you can send mms. I dont have my tp2 now but I will flash and test it on Mon when I get it.
