Tmobile HotSpot Cab

So i'm looking for the hotspots log in application. Ever since i flashed to the pdaviet touchflo rom on my wing I have been missing this. Is there any place to just get the cab file? Or any other way to be able to log back onto hotspots?
thanks
You can login without the application.
1. Add a new wifi access point - Network name = tmobile - next page tick "The key is automatically provided" - Next - Finish. There are no other settings needing editted here.
2. Goto a hotspot location and turn on your wifi and highlight "tmobile" - connect.
3. Open your browser (IE) and wait until the intial page loads. Here you will get your login ability. Login (username is usually your 10 digit phone # and password if not changed is the last 4 digits of the account holders SSN) - Browse as you please
Note: You can do this with any wifi enabled device not only the phone example your laptop or PSP.
I think he is talking about using the Tmobile hotspot to make calls over the voip. Like "Hotspot at home" for tmobile.
I thought I was told the Wing is not applicable to [email protected] program. Hmm interesting might need to read into that a little more.

This is exactly what i was looking for. I appreciate it!

Your welcome glad I could help. I spent the time on the phone with blackberry/PDA support on T-Mobile customer care to get that info. The 1st tier of support was stubbornly stating I had to use any tmobile device that accepts a sim card and use the prebuilt software. That was the only way according to the 1st tier got to Blackberry/PDA support and asked them how would it be done on a PSP and eventually they told me its all available in the Homepage and just to use my info. They were not forthcoming with what my info was and I eventually got them to tell me it was my 10 digit # and the last 4 of the primaries SSN. Now after you set all that up you can goto the Hotspot page and user your control panel there to do what you can with Hotspots. But it is definitely nice to know that the data package I got with T-Mobile Internet is exactly what they say it is and I do not have to get another $20 package to use Hotspots like the 1st representative was telling me I had to do.
Definately..
I'm not totally about the customer service reps either. Dont get me wrong, there are plenty out there that know what they are talking about, but there are plenty out there that dont! When I first got my Wing I was in a hurry. I bought it and left the store quickly. I called tmobile a bit later to add the total internet package to my plan and after about 20 minutes the rep told me that i could not get it on my plan!! I was like WHAT!! I just spent almost 400
bucks and you're telling me I cant get internet service on this smartphone?!? The reps exact words were "That is correct sir. However if you go and upgrade to a blackberry you can add the blackberry internet package." Then of course I politly told the rep she didnt have a f**king clue! So I went to a store and they added it on no problem.
I upgraded all via the internet. Never get a deal with them anyway as a matter of fact all my grandfathered packages always seem to disappear and they want to charge me more everytime I talk to them. Have had so many problems with the motorola devices from them. The wife got a nokia 8801 and we have had it replaced 4 times the battery and speaker system on that device is just horrible from them. The whole battery connector fell out right off the circuit board no abuse from the wife she takes decent care of her devices. But on subject I had the Internet Package for the nokia ngage and something happened and they offered a special package/price for it at the time. Well the program ceased and I was offered the Intenet Data package at $9.99. I was on that for a long time and then all the sudden it all stopped. I ended up with plain old t-zones. I had t-zones on all our phones 3 total and after they told me they can't help me I just cancelled the other 2 phone t-zones and went with internet on my phone and they can goto a Starbucks with a laptop if they need internet. I'm sure they love the coffee I havent had any myself not a coffee fan lol. But in the end I just got upgraded and had to figure it all out myself and argued with them to get it done right. I won't complain about the service I get what I pay for I don't expect much more than that. I have learned that major companies just don't appreciate the customer on a one on one basis.

But then you have to open the web browser and enter the password everytime you want to connect. I'm looking for the CAB too so that I can save my password and the log-in can be automatic. Nobody's got it, huh??

Excellent! Thanks! I want to use it on a Kaiser though, so that custom ROM you mentioned won't work.
Although I'm sure there must be a way to extract it from the NBF, huh?
did anyone ever find a cab or make one?
if so please post
thanks =]
I made these cabs a while back... I'm surprise no one found them by searching the site

Here are the direct links to download as long as you're logged into the site:
duprade T-mobile Hotspot Utility.CAB
duprade T-mobile T-Zones.cab
thanks for the cabs!
No problems.
Excellent! Thanks!
I think the search does not index attachment filenames and that post was about tZones. They'll find it now I'm sure.
Thanks again! It works great!
What exactly does the Tzones cab do? does it set up the Tzones proxy for you?
Save my day !
Thanks for the files, you saved my day !

It seems that even in passwords there are fashion trends after all
This statistics is only for US users - non-english speaking people have slight advantage of having more or less obscure languages and passwords.
And what about you - do you go for passwords that are easy to remeber or safe ones?
Nope, mine is random numbers and letters + capital letters No one will figure mine out
No, Mine must be a lot harder than that as I ALWAYS forget it !!!
Thanks for the tip, I will try one in the future.
I use Keepass (and Keepass for PPC) to store my passwoords. It can also generate new ones (safe passwords). Problem is that a Master password is still something you have to remeber yourself
mine isn't there either. GBA games ftw! (woops)
Windows, Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc all accept passwords up to 256 characters. My passwords are all sentences with punctuation. Easy to remember, "I love Pam Andersons huge knockers!" plus it is fun to type.
or
"I love tinky winky"

i like this..
In an internal audit done back in the 70's on a bunch of UNIX machines the most popular password for the admin account root, was root.
The second most popular was toor
i use passworddepot for my passwords , most of em are randomly generated

Crazy haha
For really obscure pass-phrases, try something you remember from childhood. As an example, I can remember one time when my mum packed me and my sister off into a room with the windows open whilst she called the gas board.
After what seamed like several hours of boredom but was likely much less 'cos the gas board take that kind of thing fairly seriously, a porty chap came round and took a sniff.
"That's not gas darlin', somfins gawn an died under your floor"
I'll never forget it, but I've told the story enough that I'll never use it except as an example. The point is, spell it like you remember it being said to add that extra twist. Try using foreign words spelt phonetically, miss-quote movies, anything that no-one could reasonably guess.
Interesting...
I can't speak any foreign language, expect a little spanish, but I can say that my password is def. not in English
'boobies' is right up there!! Go hooters!
My passwords always look something like...
srgoi#%)ecrfomerg#463'08fg3;G%V#GM)IQETI
Not joking.
My password on many places is a phone number of an advertisment I saw on the TV back in 1997 + some letters....
apparently I saw that ad so many times that I will never forget that number

Looking for Ringtones/Theme/Wallpaper???

Hello dear Forumers!!! lol
Looking for Ringtones/Theme/Wallpaper??? I stumbled upon this page w w w.zedge.net (no spaces between w's) They have some pretty cool stuff to download for free. Tho this site does let you download a few items as you browse it then asks you to Register with them. It will give you a message saying "You have reach the downloading limit for the day" If you dont wanna Register, you can wait a few hours then go back to the site and start downloading away again, or you can Register (No Costs) With the standard requirements, UserName/Email/Password to have unlimited access to the site.
Theres 2 ways of downloading Items A) Directly to you your phone from the site OR B) To your Desktop/Laptop then transfer it via USB/MemoryCard/ActiveSync (which is what I did) They have some very neat wallpapers and some unique sounds (Ringtones/SMS Alerts) for your devices. You can sample the sounds before downloading, just FYI......hehe
Hope this site is useful for ya'll Customize your device to your liking!!!
Hi try http://www.zedge.net/ they good good stuff

Anyone good with Microsoft Access?

Hi,
I need serious help and i've searched the internet more in the past few days than ever before and I have got nothing, so I thought where else best to turn.
I have a database for my ICT coursework based on booking swimming lessons. I have 4 tables (tblChildren, tblBooking, tblTeacher, tblLesson) My booking table is full of lookups, I think my problem lies here, but i'm not sure how to work around it. The lookups are the child, their teacher and the lesson they're booked into(pictured here).
I have a booking form, that (should) link to this. When I first made the form it was a manual entry form (had to memorise all the information and enter it on the form to match) and it would enter it and save it in the table. To get around the manual entry i used a lookup where childID is and then changed the control sources of all the fields to pick up the information.
Now, as I changed that to a lookup, it is now finding information and not using it to enter information into the table and therefore not creating a bookingID and not allowing me to save it by creating a record in the table.
Booking form pictured here
I'll attach a copy of the database when i've uploaded it.
If anyone can help i'd appreciate this so much as my final coursework deadline is wednesday. Cheers.
[Thought it's worth mentioning that all information is test information and made up]
