any idea how it happened? It on and off for few days after purchased but now it stick to grey instead of the original black. Might be theme bug?
T.I.A
Try to change your wallpaper to the original one.
Go to Settings Tab - Wallpaper - Change to original and hit "Yes".
Its because your bar gets transparent when you personalize the Home tab with your own wallpaper.
thx for the quick reply. I tried it, restart the phone and it still there..
Sorry for the misunderstanding. Now i can see which bar youre talking of.
Try changing the theme.
Start - Settings - Today
Now you can choose themes. Select a different one, activate it, and then reactivate your old one.
thx but It doesn't work too
is it working when you change the theme to another one ?
if not, you can backup everything and try a hard-reset, this should solve it for sure.
I have this problem before caused by the program Mapking r12, which can be solved by deleting the "MapKing SMS" file in startup folder
did u install mapking r12,i have same problem when i install r12,all u need to do is to go to file explorer-windows-startup and delete away mapkingSms and soft reset, everything shd be fine aft tat.
Mapking is indeed the problem! Removed and no more grey bar. Thx everyone!
its not just mapking alone....i just installed geocool which for some reason didn't seem like it's been installed even though I'm sure the installation went fine(couldn't even find it in the Remove Programs list) , anyways after rebooting i too had this grey bar problem , went to startup folder as suggested by ninja_pimp and deleted a file named "Autostart"....voila! problem solved
thanks to ninja_pimp

No,it's wrong ! Unzip the files on your pc then copy them in your pda, just the files and not a folder.

Hi,it's an old plugin, batterybar.I use it since WM3.
Anyone seen any SatNav icons for this? like TomTom/Navigon/iGo/CoPilot?
Hi,
I just made my first attempt to customize the sprint plugin icons. I hope you enjoy it !!!
Okay, so what am I doing wrong with this? I've gone in and made changes to the 2 xml files that are for the plugin, but once I put them back on my Sprint Touch and soft reset, all I get is a blank space were they are supposed to be. Any ideas? Thanks!

says who.........
So whenever I install an app to sd card (via froyo, not rooted) the image no longer shows up on the desktop screens. The links to the app still work but the image is not correct. Is there a solution?
You need to restart the launcher app in order for the icons to appear.
If you use LaucherPro, go to Preferences > Restart LauncherPro
im using ADW and i just restarted the phone and the icons are still not right
Did you wait for the SD to be verified before entering you PIN to unlock the SIM? If not, try doing that...
If it still doesn't work, go check in Settings > Applications if you can properly see the apps that have a faulty shortcut. If you can get their info there, try moving one back to the phone and see if this solves it.
If you can see the apps but not get their info (e.g. their name is weird like com.myapp.whatever), then I'm afraid I can't help you further. I had a similar problem like that and wasn't able to solve it either. In the end I just installed Cyanogen ROM which has been working great .

Nah they all work fine, the info is all there and the links still work. The only thing that is wrong is the icon does not show the apps image on the desktop it just shows the little android in a white box android.
Like this: (sample image not of my phone)

but on the desktop, I know the apps have icons. This only happens with apps that I have moved to SD card (again, through froyo, im not rooted)
Ah then it's not exactly what I had (lucky you ). Mine also had the android-icon, but when i clicked it said that the app was not installed .
Have you tried the moving back to phone option? Maybe if you move them back to the phone the icon will re-appear and then you could move them back to SD later
strange .., indeed
same problem here. , tried some possible solutions..,
it just only happend when i restart the phone
im using modaco r5 but not a fan of the screen unlock bar, anyway to have a unlock screen like below? obviously keeping the notifiation bar and using a different bakground
is there a guide or anyone fancy helping me
thanks

any ideas on what i need to pull from it?
dont flash that pull /system/framework-res.apk then open the file you downloaded with the theme in extract that chose then images you want out of that then open your fw-res.apk open it with 7zip put the images you want in the corect folders closew it then push it back to your phone
thanks for that, i managed to do it but when u hold power to power down the menu list is all messed up, so i just reflashed sensehero an put on the desire lock screen so i still keep the straight bar instead of the curved one
thanks alot for you help with this anyway
After almost ONE MANTH of work on this project I managed today to finally take out the first cabs. I'm pretty sure this is gonna look good on your phones, it does on mine. Though I don't particularly like WP7 themes, I must agree that their light blue tone really looks good on a pitch black background, so I decided to set this blue-square look on the taskbar.
This Taskbar for only QVGA

after that, extract files from cab and overwrite into windows folder,

It looks like my device do not support.
Sorry.
