I find the buttons on the calculator on the Diamond to be too small. Can someone recommend a better one that works well with the Diamond?
Thanks,
Jon

You should have a look under the Themes, applications forum under the diamond where you will find a .cab file which makes the calculator look like the phone keypad. Heres the link:

Try 1-Calc Lite and does metric-imp conversions too

if you 'Hide Keyboard', you get wm6 smartdial. otherwise, use EZdial - it's very nice app for speedialing.
rgs,
pirlone
Thanks for posting!
People better grab it before Big Brother complains.
Anybody know where I can get the picture in the background to use as my today background? Thanks
Here is the background to use as your todaybackground it is in png format.

Thanks for that background!
BA compatible
works on blue angle too
is there anyway to get my default backround on this skin or am I stuck with Nemo? Not a big fan of the Nemo thing but I like the pad.

No one can hook me up ??? Im sure its in the EXT-ROM some where. Please Please Please.
It's not bad, but I'd rather have the ETEN Dialer. Does anyone know if they've got it working on Windows Mobile 6?

Eten works on the hermes and wizard with WM6
Still no one can make a cab for this or something ?
I wouldn't mind ETEN dialer either but it has no smart dial popup list. bummer.
The default skin on the Wing is ok, but nothing great. I changed it to the HTC Dial Pad as soon as I got the device. Seems to run a little faster, it has bigger buttons, and looks a lot cooler. I don't have the exact link, but Google it and I'm sure you can find it.

HTC Album is great! Very very nice, but it's still very basic and lacks some functions such as folder selection, GIF/PNG support, file info, ... but one may argue that it's simplicity is the best thing about it.
Personally, I thank God for iPhone. It was a great motive that made Windows Mobile developers work a little bit harder
Most of the Touch ROM's (black shadow/satin, etc) had a back calculator with large buttons.
I've search this board up and down, but cannot find a cab for this alone.
Does anyone have a link for a calc replacement that is simple yet smart. Not expensive OneCalc, just the freebie that gets put ion ROMs.
Try SPB Black47 calculator theme. You can download from http://www.spbclub.com/theme.php?theme_id=41
Cheers.
Just beware: I tried to install a skin for the native calc a while ago (it was also for SPB Calc), and the native calc application vanished. The only way I could get it back was after a hard reset!
You're right: I've just uninstalled it but I could not get native calc back. Temporary solution is to reinstall SPB skin and it works like before.
Isn't the original calculator.exe in Windows folder resides in ROM? (shouldn't it reappear if RAM file with the same name is deleted?)
Is this a free calc skin, or does one have to install an spb skinning app?
did not use my calculator before, but this should really be changed.
so if anyone has a nicer calculator app, that would be most welcome
i am not using spb, so a calculator skin that works without spb would be best

I use Hi-Calc for this, the best one (nice black theme/VGA/Landscape etc.)
Look at youtube HERE
Only it's not free, who cares, i love torrents

It can be found at pocketgear.com for $25.00. It's sweet, but a little too expensive for me.

working fine on my diamond.
enjoy!
Guys, I'd like to have the same interface for browsing contacts as the HTC diamond has, or perhaps like the iPhone.
Does anyone know how I can do this? What files do I need and where can I get them?
Try PocketCM.

Or try iContact
Here Is Your Solution
Have Fun
Search For IContact
And Others Soft As well
Go Mate!!!

I got iContact already.
What I like about the diamond, which I thought the iPhone has as well, is the ability to flick through images of your contacts with their names just below (or above) the corresponding image. Similar to how the pocketCM image viewer works actually, but then for contacts...
http://www.cnetx.com/products/contact/
its commercial and worth it.
