Well it looks like the touchscreen on my Kaiser/Tilt has stopped working. I was removing the back cover ( I really don't like the design ) and think I flexed something. Nothing is broken that can be seen but the unit won't accept any input on the screen although the rest of the phone is fine. So anyway what I'm looking for is any kind of disassembly instructions. I've looked around and haven't found any yet. Any help is welcome.

hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone has gotten their hands on this new cab that is suppose to turn our kaisers into a plunger. As of right now i've got all the upgrades such as the Irazor cab, ispatula cab, and even the infamous irobot cab, but can't seem to find the plunger upgrade.
Any help would be appreciated and please don't hate me.

I don't know about Plunger but you may Ask P1Tater about how to turn your Kaiser into a Oil Filter.

My Kaiser was a plunger without any upgrades/cabs etc. 1 minute in water
After all it's got 12h nap under fan to dry out.

Sure! At first display was full of water stains, now there is only one blurry stain (looks little ****ty because of mould-brown color ) near left edge, but still it is full working PDA. With some issues with hw keyboard - CAPS and first three columns from left not always (1/50 times) works, but it's acceptable.
Removed by me.
Rick Astley He's (was) a plunge?

I know that at least someone had the courage to click the link. Everyone seem paranoiac here.
I know that warez are against the rules, and I've linked only the demo.
Same studio that produced Rayman Ultimate by the way.

Keep misplacing the stylus because you can't be bothered putting it back into the device when not using it for short periods?
Well, no longer! Simply place the stylus along the top edge of the device - the magnet inside will keep it put!

This tip doesnt work on my Diamond with rom version 1.93. Do you think my ROM is missing the software to enable the magnet in my Diamond?
Is there anyway to update my magnet to version 2?
Hehe!
cool tip thx

Hmm... yes, it certainly sounds like you're missing something.
I think the process known as 'cooking your own ROM' may help. I'm not too familiar with it myself but try popping your Diamond into the oven - 200°C for 25 minutes should sort it one way or another. Indeed if you lay the stylus on the upper part of the device beforehand you should find it sticks nicely.
Let us know how it turns out!
Mathew
want to make some $?
develop a tracking program of the stylus. this software should detect the magnetic field of the stylus from at least 10 m or integrate the GPS unit (without the usual lag) so we should be able to pinpoint the stylus position.
waiting for the first prerelease and the usual "donate" link.

I tried 'cooking my own rom' but ive ended up with a complete mess, its burnt to smithereens!
But it now looks like a walkie talkie with the stylus burnt on it! I think I may of put the stylus too high up so it sticks out. Not to worry, retro it is. hehe!

Do you think the casino chips I would throw you would count for the mental institute that we all must go?
In case no one knew, you can use the touch screen on the recovery console. the edges, top, bottom, left, right, move the curser. The center selects, not sure if this is common knowledge but i found it very cool and wanted to share.

Isn't that neat?
Thanks for bringing it back to people's attention, *I* thought it was a cool idea, which is why I wrote it in the first place a few months back
For some reason most people didn't much care...
Okay, I didn't just do it because it was a neat idea... it was also done to support phones that don't have a dpad or don't have a working dpad (topaz et al), although they're not using it either.

Don't drink the kool aid, man - i always use touches in the installer instead of the dpad in your honor. nice seeing you back in the neighborhood... slumming it, as it were?

Could you perhaps give a picture of this mark
Or perhaps describe it

I have no idea
Sony support or sony repair is your best bet
Thanks for the help.
But I don't live in a place where that is easily possible. So I'll have to find a solution myself.
Cheers!
