How do I play FLV files downloaded from the net? I tried installing TCPMP and FlashVideoBundle and when I played TCPMP I always got an error message.
Hope somebody can help me.
Thanks in advance.

I just went to the thread you gave and tried to download the CAB file. However I was having problem downloading it from the link.
It seems my laptop has a problem. I've just downloaded the file using my friend's laptop. Everything went fine.

I tried to redirect the cube music to Conduits Pocket Player (my personal favorite because of its bookmarking and fast forwarding capabilities). I browsed to the proper exe file but when I select music I get an error about vjbrisk2.exe cannot be run. I have seen several others reference the error but I cannot find a solution.
Thanks for your help.
Just bumping. Has anyone come up with a solution to the vjbrisk2.exe error yet?
Thanks
Maybe thats not the proper .exe file and/or its not compatable with the cube(not familiar with conduits)
I have the same problem. Dutty told me he was working on a cab to fix that.

When i had open touch 3 i could go to the list of sites page in my phone go to youtube or anyother site and download a video and play it from my phone. but i cant with open touch 4.0 biggy even tho i have downloaded and installed the flash video bundle cab from the first page of the open touch 4.o release page, when i download a file it wont play in the TCMP player, it says file not supported or something of that nature, even tho i used to download and watch videos all the time when i had opentouch 3.0
And yes i have searched the forum and and posted in the issues thread to no avail.
You cannot just install the flashvideobundle cab. http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=FlashVideoBundle
Follow the instructions on the page. You must install the version of tcpmp first, soft reset, then install flash video bundle. Then it will work. Keep in mind though that you will have 2 versions of tcpmp on you phone after doing this. Good luck
Well that answers that question... thanks!
Hi Guys,
I am having trouble downloading files (not apk files) to my phone through the stock browser on my N1 (Both WiFi and 3G).
The specific files are avi, mpeg etc...
I have tried Download Crutch Lite, Linda file manager and Astro with no luck.
I am currently running Android 2.2
Your help would be appreciated.
Cheers
get astro file manager and enable browser enabler....
Hi,
thanks for the quick reply, I have already tried astro and enabled the download plugin and same goes with the linda file manager...
thanks...
same prob.
Try cyanogen....... :_)
Have you tried using a different browser? eg. Opera, Xscope or Dolphin.
I have the same problems trying to download amr files. I wish the browser would just let us download whatever file we wanted regardless of whether we can open it or not.
/edit Just tried using Opera. It can download my amr files! Too bad neither stock music player nor doubleTwist player can open it.. *sigh*

I have yet to get a decent quality video ripped from a bluray (1080p) to play smoothly on any CM7-based roms, or even the straight CM7 nightly build with OC added.
I've tried a number of settings, plists and players (including mobo) and they all either skip frames, cause audio sync issues part-way into the movie, or play the movie like it's slightly slowed down. Pretty frustrating.
These same videos play fine on the stock rooted NC though, so it's obviously a CM7/Gingerbread issue still.
Guess I'll just have to wait patiently until the dev's get the video acceleration/audio issues figured out...
Hi glenairlie,
I tried installing Mobo using adb push to system/apps and when I load it it just crashes. Do I need to changer permissions? if you to what? How did you install and get it working
Thanks

I downloaded the mobo_1.0.129_v7_neon.apk file from the mobo website, copied it to dropbox on my PC, opened the file through dropbox on my NC and installed it that way.
Thanks I forget about drop box. So in my nooking around I used adb to push to to my system/apps directory. I then went into file manager open installed app. for some reason when I open it up it does not regonize any media files mp4 blah blah blah. It is like it doesn't have read access to directory where mp4's are located. I tried to delete app but when I went to settings applications it was not showing up as installed app. I also tried deleting apk file in in file manager and it would not let me.
So How do I delete app that is not showing up in setting applications.
Thanks
Greg

You could try changing permissions with the Fix Permissions in Rom Manager, or you could try adb uninstall mobo_1.0.132_v7_neon.apk (or whatever your apk file is called).
MoboPlayer is epic.

I believe mkv files with more than 720p resolutions cannot be played properly on the Galaxy S.
