Birthday App Suggestions? - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Im looking for a free and simple birthday app for WM6.1, 8925. I have a great one for my Palm. Simple, small footprint, and free but I cannot seem to find one for my tilt.

I use Birthdays by David Andrš: see http://pda.jasnapaka.com/birthdays/#download
It works fine with WM 6.1 on my TyTnII. The footprint is very small and you can customise it well.

Thanks..... Ill give it a shot.

Why not just put them on the calendar as reoccurring events.

Try todayagenda...it puts your birthday reminders right on your usual calendar on your today screen!

Birthdays 1.2.10 is great!
It takes the info off your outlook contact list, very small footprint, great options. Just what I was looking for.

I don't see why you would want a separate application when it can be done right through the standard calendar.
My sisters birthday is actually this Sunday and here is what my screen looks like.

Automatically launch "new SMS" when I slide up the keyboard

Do you know if there is a tweak to automatically launch a program (new SMS for instance) when i open the keyboard of the Kaiser ?
I'll be very happy to save time with this tweak...
up someone ?
Dont think so, a few days ago I made a post asking what is the quickest way to start an SMS and that was never mentioned, so I dont think it exist, it would be a great app it it did.
Good idea.
HTC has the HTC Action screen, which does the same thing when you slide open the HTC Touch Dual.

Making this work with the sliding keyboard on the Kaiser would be nice.

Agree this would be a nice tweak. Anyway to autorun any prog when the keyboard is opened...
This is exactly what i thought... Unfortuneltly i don't have the knowledge to create this tweak... I'm happy to see i'm not the only one interested...
Umm that would be a HUGE burden when you open to keyboard to input a web address on pocketie or any other browser wouldnt it....

Indeed. If this theoretical app existed, it should check if the Today screen is active before taking action.

AFAIK the HTC Action app opens up briefly when they keyboard comes up, and then disappears, so it should not interfere too much.

You should be able to do this with MortScript.

What contact managing program do you use?

Hi, I love the diamond, but its kind of a fuss with the contacts. You have to add them one by one to your favourites, if you want to see them in Touch flo. Im too lazy to do that, so Im looking for a good contact managing program. I tried icontact, but its only for qvga. I would like to have that "iphone" like feeling in it. Tried some, but didnt find the right one - so looking for any tips.
Also, is there an option to change the "phone" application? Its slow, and I dont like it.
Thanks a lot! Its a great community!
Icontact supports VGA, I'm using it, and right now I'm creating a Diamond VGA skin right now.
I disabled contacts page on manila, and assigned left softkey on clock page to contacts.

Are you serious? maybe you think windows nobile looks great...
Anything new on the Diamond skin for iContact? Sounds like the perfect solution!
There is a iContacts port for VGA.
And it looks amazing plus assigning it to a soft key is even coooler.
Luck fellasss.

Need a clock

I know I don't have any posts so I expect some grief but what is out there for just clocks? I don't like having a lot of stuff on the screen so I don't want to use the HTC home, I would like something that just has some analog clocks on it but I am having trouble finding anything. I saw a couple people that had some screenshots of them but no info. BTW I am using this vista ultimate theme so something kind of sleek would be cool(no cartoon clocks)
BTW, I have used the search on here so I don't need anybody to post that a million times. Anything you guys have would be appreciated.

With this also you can change font size and put any font you want to it... Take a closer look...
get the today plugin from here:
http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_xda_neo_wm5_ext_im_cs.htm
the customisation part is how you go about, well customising the clock etc:
http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_xda_neo_wm5_ext_cust_im_cs.htm
Let me know if you want my theme/clock and ill post the xml up... becuase i tweaked it to include bluetooth/wifi status as well as the graphic to make it look like the OEM wireless plugin....

[APP] Netfront Life Screen Launcher

Found this floating around the web & thought I'd share, they have a very interesting UI it's rather different.
A home app replacement with an easy-to-use interface that delivers previews of social network updates as well as phone services data. Pick a service, such as Facebook or Twitter, to see recent updates. Choose Call History or Contacts to call someone. Use the app launcher cube to quickly find any installed app and launch it.
Based around a single circle of icons, you can control every aspect of your phone with a single screen. Two to be exact The second of which is the screen that holds all your applications in a very slick cube design.
