Can someone please tell me why I keep getting this screen pop-up once a day as I haven't changed my password on the Yahoo account? I've been using Xpress Mail to push my Yahoo mails for the last few months, but never had this screen pop-up asking me to input my password!

I have never had push mail facilities before. Can anyone confirm whether it is possible to get notification from a yahoo email account? I do not have an email plus account.
I have tried to configure my T-mobile MDA Vario III to do this but it does not recognise either my user name or password when prompted. Am I just trying the impossible, I ask as I read somewhere that it can not configure hotmail accounts and Yahoo is obviously a web email account.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I don't know if you can setup true 'push' email from Yahoo, but what you can do is go to the main email screen, tap 'New Email Account', type in your Yahoo email address, and just follow the prompts. You can set it up to automatically pick up your email every 5 minutes, 10 minutes, whatever you want. Hope that helps.

Check the link in my post above yours. That properly answers his question.
As TB says, Yahoo GO is the push solution - but it doesnt interact properly with the devices messaging client - so if you dont like the yahoo go app (I hate it), then do what RW said (but make sure you have the account enabled for pop (which you set up easily in the yahoo webmail client).
If you can forward your incoming yahoo mail to another account, you could use a Exchange Push Mail solution like the one I offer to push your yahoo mail to your device.
Yahoo Mail supports IMAP. Not true Push IMAP, but it is pretty close. You can simply set it up to sync your inbox often, if you can afford the data charges.

Hoping someone has a fix or recommendation for the following issue I've noticed.
I've got a Yahoo e-mail account setup (POP3 - automatic e-mail retrieval every 15 minutes). When I receive an e-mail, I receive the e-mail notification in the taskbar and it won't go away until I dismiss it or view the e-mail. The notification works fine.
I also have an Exchange account setup (direct push). When I receive an e-mail I get the e-mail notification in the taskbar, however, it eventually disappears on it's own after a few minutes even though I haven't dismissed it or read the e-mail.
Is there a registry setting I can tweak to correct this?

I own a HTC TyTN II, and my fiance has the Touch Pro CDMA, and we're both trying to figure out if there's a way we can respond to an email message received in Outlook via ActiveSync thru one of the SMTP e-mail accounts on the phone...
When we goto reply to a Outlook message, it insists to reply via Outlook, which just places the new message in the Outbox and waits for the next sync to occur before sending.
IMAP is not an option for us as our e-mail providers do not support it, and we've come across FlexMail 4 which can do the trick, but it doesn't inegrate well with TouchFlo

I have HD7 using Gmail, two POP3 mail account... I encoutered lost incoming mail in inbox (lost all inbox email account, except for Hotmail window live)
Symptom:
After read all inbox mail, I quit. After few minute or few hours will lost all inbox mail, cannot determine the time lost email after quit email, sometime few minute, sometime few hours, all INBOX email will lost, all inbox become empty.
Some email with attach file cannot see the file attached, because it's not appear the Staple Icon (open this email same as email with no attach file).
Sometime lost email during reading its.
Sent item email still record all mail I has been sent before.
Anybody have same symptom? How to solve it? pls help

If you check your email elsewhere, have the mails actually been deleted from the server?
Only thing I can think is that you're on the 'unread' pane of emails. If so, swipe left to get to the 'all' pane.

I swiped to All already, All is show NO MESSAGES, inbox email is empty

Anybody encounter same as problem? pls help.
Hi all.
I have had my Note for a couple of weeks now, and love it. I set up my email account the other day and have been recieving emails just fine, but I discovered today that I can't send emails. I get a notification saying "sender address rejected; not owned by user ********@***.com (my email address).
What the hell is going on? When setting up the email account on the phone, i typed in my email address and my password as requested and it set it all up automatically.
Can anyone help?
