How to Downgrade

Is there a offical downgrade thing
i want to get my o2 XDA IIs back to how it was from the shop

anyone? i need to downgrade my blue angel too. need to try something out

1.42 is only for t-mobile when i have o2
1.40 for o2 uk has a dead link (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_1.40.00_Upgrade)
o2 softare is not avaible from o2 site.

i am having alot of problems with my XDA i dont know if its software or hardware problems

I'm a XDA IIs user who still use WM2003SE. The rom that I'm using is from O2 asia version. You can get it at www.mwg.com. The detail from the rom are as follows:
English ROM
ROM: 1.40.00 WWE
Date: 03/10/05
Radio: 1.12.00
Protocol: 1337.42
ExtROM: 1.40.923 WWE
MMS: 2.0.0.21
BT: 1.0.0 Build 3900

When i needed to downgrade to 2003SE a used a ROM called "BA_TMUK_14200_112_11300_Ship". It worked for me.

It didn't work for me. I got the message:
ERROR 120 COUNTRY ID ERROR
The rom image that you are trying to use is not designated to work with your device.
Please check the vendor web site and download the correct ROM update.
Click exit to quit.
Any suggestions would help.

My suggestion would be: read the wiki, search for this error on the forums and try again

I did. It's not an easy search to do and it took a lot of trys and reading to find the correct search words to use. Trust me, I'm not a novice of forums and search annoyances.

Maybe you are not familiar with this forum, but if you have read carefully the first link i gave you, you would have found it.
I know it seems cold when we say read the wiki, but in fact it is because 99% of the time the solution is there, and for me and for many others who have done it, we know: the wiki works.
I'm a completely newbie at WM and PPC and yet, following this forum and the knowledge on the wiki, i was able to do amazing things with my BA.

You're right, the answer is there. There's no disagreement there. But as I mentioned earlier I eventually found the answer at the 1.42 link you just posted. The problem is that it took about a day to find it over at wiki. I can't remember how I found it, possibly a google/yahoo search.

The Radio Or 1.70.0liNEx Is a Fake Radio. Find another Radio and Flash to it.
MUCH LIKE THEY SAID TO IN THE INTRUCTIONS ITS STEP 3!

Nope I mean Radio. You will find "Radio Only" files that you can flash to your Device.
Now, on another note, You can find ROMs with Radios included. Dutty's latest and Leo's Come with Radios Included.

Which you will recomend me? Cause I'm a bit confused? I was with these settings before updating:
R 1.27.14.32
G 22.45.88.07H
D 1.81.00.00
So what's the way to use my phone normaly? I mean gps talking etc. ? :S
edit: And If I put anything new would my HTC gonna locked again ? :S

yes but few things to remember:
first you want to make sure you have Hardspl installed onto your device as the above poster said.
secondly it wouldn't hurt to security unlock your self using jockyw's security unlocker this will keep you safe from flashing a radio that locks itself to your device hence disallowing you to upgrade or downgrade from it
thirdly that radio is for wm6.1 roms only so make sure you have a wm6.1 rom before you flash it. If you have wm6 rom than you need to look for a wm6 radio.

So then you want find radio 1.27.14.32. And Flash it your phone.
"normaly" I'm not sure what you mean. GSM? Just make sure you have a Working Radio Flashed to your phone and is should "work."
You should continue to be locked even if you Flash another ROM.

Help Please I Have Lost the Use of My Camera

Cany anybody help with this one.
I came to use my camera on my Tytn 2 and low and behold all i have is a black screen with all the menus, this is the same for both.
I have tried a hard and soft re-set in hope it might spring back to life but no joy so if anybody can help would be very greatful.

HI,
It was originaly on Orange and i got it unlocked and had the ROM flashed to the latest Ver or so i was told as i did not do it, hope that helps.

if you did this ... than you need to flash a radio that is compatible with the rom .. i.e if its a wm6.1 rom than you need a wm6.1 radio

SO u flashed a new rom? Do u know which version?WM6.1?
When u had previously installed wm6 rom and now u flashed wm6.1, u need to flash appropriate radio rom.

it says to use radio 1.65.16.25
use the link that Mikulec provided, goto post 3 and the radio is there to download and flash. that should sort your problem out.

I am just downloading the radios now and will give them a try in the morning.

i assume that if you have an updated rom that you should have hardspl installed on your phone so just follow these steps:
1. attach your data cable and sync with your pc then run the .exe file from the radio you downloaded.
2. the phone should go into a 3 colour screen and say usb at the bottom, the flash will then start and you will see a percentage bar telling you when its been sucessful.
3. the phone will then restart and the radio will be updated.

I think u have the latest official one, but u can take a look at cooked roms in kaiser development section. Every custom rom has its own thread with list of specifications, ....
Just take a look.

ok so, with this serial HT851KD22894 you can download from the australian htc site only the version 1.18.707.3 (2009-01-22 ) so that it's the latest....... in this case the wiki page must be updated.

it is the 1-22-2009 asia rom update. some cooked roms already included the core OS from this update.

ok. Im try to download it now, it is hTC_Asia_WWE_1.18.707.3_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship, but by issue date, it should be latest. i dont know about 1.21.841.1 (38850) WWE in the post listed. maybe wait for other to make sure it is available.

As with every other HTC phone I've owned, the stock ROM is absolutely useless. Does anyone know where I can download 1.21.841.1 so that I can revert to it for warranty purposes after I install a cooked ROM?

1.21.841.1 Rom
This rom does exist this is the telstra branded rom when you use the correct serial the htc will allow you to download it their link will stat 1.18 but the file that it down loads is the above rom version this rom is customised for telstra which is the only carrier in australia to be selling the HD This is the version with the 850 umt band as this is the NextG Network the wiki is a link to the share on rapid share so can download from their as for the (38850) I did not look at this when i had it loaded on phone.

You can flash all roms if you really want. Read the stickys and you'll be fine.

Read the guide in my signature and you can't go wrong.

iam from india and my htc hd is of orange brand but still it supports airtel after flashing will its supports all carriers i am using vitsa x32

If your phone is simlocked then there are several options to unlock including a service provided on this forum. Search it.

Otherwise you can flash any blackstone rom of your choice on this device.
Refer to cRaCKwHoRe's excellent guide.
You can also visit the XDA Wiki for more information.
Read all the info carefully before you finally contemplate flashing.

If your phone colours have changed, you have the wrong SPL version on your phone to the rom you have on. Ie, 1.57 Rom on a 1.14 SPL or visa versa.
If you now have SPL version 1.56, then you can install any rom that uses the same SPL such as Miri's 6.5, Dutty's XT3.4, Onkolog's 6.5/6.1, KWBR's Topix.

Have you read anything we have been posting?
If your SPL is less than 1.54.0000 then you cannot run a rom that is 1.56 or higher. This works in reverse as well. If your SPL is 1.54.0000 or higher you cannot run a rom that is 1.56 or lower.
Since you are running SPL 1.14.olinex and what looks like a 1.56 or higher rom you need to flash the new HSPL 1.56.olinex.

insted of HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex
now i directly used HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex and flashed(upgraded) it with RUU_BlackStone_HTC_WWE_1.56.405.1_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship
ithink now every must work fine

Yes if you have HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex already flashed to your device and your bootloader shows SPL 1.56.olinex.
