I think you have been misled by the name of the OS
Ubuntu MID is for UMPC, NOT for mobile phone
So there are no way to install the OS into HTC diamond

went to look up a site on the net with my phone and it tell me i need to download adobe flash player to see the site... when i click the link it ask me what OS i have windows vista/xp2003/2000, windows 98/me, macintosh os x10.4-10.5, machintosh os x 10.1-10.3, linux,solaris..
My question is how can i tell what os i have so i know what one to pick..

Flash isn't available for Windows Mobile Device's at present so you can't choose one.
Also for your reference if you have a Touch Diamond you most likley have the following OS:
Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1
So just S.O.L on looking at site that take flash?

I think no one has been ported WM7 into htc Trinity..
it's impossible - use "search" plz...

I have a HTC Touch Viva (Opal) with 201Mhz processor and am interested in dual booting Android Froyo/Gingerbread alongside my Windows Mobile 6.5.3.
I believe there is a possibility of doing so through Haret but am unsure on the kind of ROM (Root) to be used
If anyone has any idea.... please share

Hello members of XDA. I regret to inform but can not install Android or iOS on a HTC HD7, you can only install modified or original versions of the Windows. Phone 7. Just install Windows Phone 7,8 (the last version of WP for this device). Search at this forum how to do this update. Good luck.
