I am so sick of everybody making Iphone icons and themes and all this bull**** for their kaisers. If you want a ****ing Iphone, go buy one. Otherwise, don't deface your iphone-superior Windows mobile phone with all this gay super-mario-looking jellybean rainbow macintosh ****. Iphones suck balls. Macintosh sucks balls. It's like buying a Ford F-650 and trying to make it look like a volkswagen jetta. Be proud of your windows mobile device people. Instead of infesting your phone, and our forums with all this glittery, trendy, crap, just go buy a ****** phone and go hang out at some other forum. ****, go hang out at starbucks, I'm sure there's about 100 douchebags crammed in there right now who'd love to go make gay buttlove with you. Damn, that felt good. I could go off on this all night. I'm gonna try to get some anti-mac stickers printed out to put on the back of my kaiser. If anyone else wants to rock one hit me up. If enough people are interested I'll get a bunch printed. Here's what I was thinkin:

That is great and i feel the same way. Minues all of the gay love and harsh words but exactly what i was thinking in a way. I do like my tilt the way it is but i dont mind making it custom to my likings. The stickers though are a greaat idea. I think they could become a hot item.

It's all about the magic fingers!

One thing though, I wish the kaiser was cap-touch instead of resitive touch screen, i dont like the plastic and I prefer the glass screen of the iPhone (even though I dont own one)

for sure. they just think its like a sidekick and are all over it. but then get all confused when they are able to touch the screen and cant manage their way around it w/o a scrolly ball and 4 buttons to get around the whole phone

Capacitive touch (like the iphone) uses the bodys natural capacitance (ability to store electricity) to detect when a finger is placed on the screen and where, determined by capacitive touch sensors.
Resistive touch is based on a series of many MANY resistors under the screen, in a matrix form (not Neo...) and when you touch the screen, a resistor goes low (no resistance) which tells the TS (touch screen) controller to tell the processor (Qual7200) that a finger has been placed at x,y with 0,0 being the upper lefthand portion of the screen.

Multi-touch isnt a patent, its a STDIO (standard input-output device)
You can even make one, a BIG one, (if you have a projector and some time, with like 50 extra dollars to spare, build one!

I feel pretty much the same way...I think the I in IPhone stands for idiot....Yeah an Idiot phone. Anyway, but the IPhone UI is pretty slick and Microsoft has not been innovative with the today screen for 7 or so years. Point UI does a good job of not looking like an iphone and making it feel more like where MS should have had it by at least WM6. No love for the idiot phone here. Symbian before Iphone anyday.

NBA Close Up... Review+Screenshots

Well, no I dont work for T-mobile, nor am i working for the NBA... this we know. But I took some screenshots and thought id post this here..
Believe me I searched, multiple combos to not double post.. although I read somewhere about it, but couldnt find that post..

Layout of App:
1. 4 cam main menu (Home Player Cam, Away Player Cam, Close Up Cam, Scoreboard Cam)
2. there should be pictures of each camera angle... these were taken at the half of the cavs vs magic game 2.
Review:
It could be better, from the clear details that LUKLUK and Youtube HD (on Wifi), its kinda upsetting.. but it does give you great angles..
As for the delay, Id give it 10-15 seconds behind... i thought one time it was maybe 5 seconds, but no, played myself.
Overall, its not a bad deal for .99 cents. Hopefully there can be a better video quality and i guess a more user friendly UI.
By the way this is being used on JFv1.5.
Not in any way am i trying to boost T-Mobile's sales... they got enough of my money with my bills.

the feeed isnt too choppy... but i was using wi-fi... i mean i guess its not a waste of a dollar... but you "expect" more i guess, compared to other video streaming apps... but it could get better
But its not really choppy during playback, i havent tested it on 3G i will next game.
but video is watchable and runs smoothly with good connections or wi-fi of course

DAMN CLEVELAND lol good game by the way. anyways yeah i was really tempted too and by the screen shots the clarity is pretty decent so i might have to pick it up even though the seasons almost done lol. but im sure it would be pretty cool to have when you cant watch the game.
Im sorry i kinda looked over it quikly but does it show stats and does it update the score pretty quikly? does it show any instant replays or anything else? j/w

Just remember that this will most likely only work for the Eastern Conf. Finals. The four camera angles are what TNT provides on their website so I guess this is linked to that. ESPN covers the Western Conf Finals and ABC will do the Finals.
Though it was still worth it, this series is most likely going to 6 or 7 so 99 cents is definitely worth it so I can watch it in class or away from home.

ya know what, i dont think i even saw the score on there.. lol, ill have to double check... you do have the announcers commentating all game.. i believe its backed by T-mobile through their TNT connection, cus it doesnt do the west coast...
but NBA Game Time has pretty damn accurate scores and complete updates of scores etc... like 5-10 seconds delay... if that

Yea I didn't think it would be so competitive, thought Cavs would win easily at home, but now I don't know whats gonna happen. Can't wait for the game tonight.

WTF, my $600 phone cannot teleport me to The Starship Enterprise

I have tried but it just fails, and I cannot figure out how to make the teleportation possible over 3G. Looks like it is not supported and the nexus one is the butt of all jokes at the workplace.
Since it said it was a superphone i figure it would work damn you google for lying.

So please keep that in mind before transporting up with your $600 superphone for your next tour of duty.

so I think you should just be content with your 40fps and hope for motion blur

Motion Blur, she starred in Friction Burns So Good, didn't she?
I never really liked her much because.... well... she always seems a bit out of focus to me. I've never "been with" a babe of fewer than 10 megapixels and as I like to watch, and feel my way around, optical zoom and digital manipulation facilities are essential for me.

You may want to use some freeware regedit to fix mispell in hklm/software/600dollarBS/enterpriCe/.

It's all nice to watch, but it would be completely exhausting for your arms and hands.
I bought a P5 glove way back in the day, thinking it was so cool to have the future in my hand, literally. It made my arm hurt after 5 minutes and it was definitely not worth it.
Everyone loves to see Minority Report and hope for a chance at that interaction, but what you don't know until you try it is how awful the experience really is.

Agreed, it's never going to be practical.

well, it's not like kinetic is better than touch screen.. unless they also develop the hologram screen to touch..
low accuracy, less responsive, and on top of that, it's not even easier to do.. it just looks cooler.. and only counts when someone see you doing that.. otherwise, that's non sense..

Do you have specific rules when using computer?

I am a computer science student, so I need to spend a lot of time in front of my computer. It is not a secret that my computer most of the time is my tv, and newspaper and mp3 player and so on. What I am trying to say is that I use my computer a lot and I think my eyes are very tired of that. I have dark circles under my eyes for a couple of years now and I can't get rid of them. No under-eye cream treatments work, drinking vitamins doesn't help either. Basically, the fact why I am unable to have a deep conversation with long eye contact with anyone is because all od the time I think how horrible my under-eye's look like.
So, here is the point where I would like to ask you for some information. I guess, most of the people from this forum use their computer a lot, which is perfectly fine. I would like to ask you, do you have any strict rules when using your computer? How do you make sure that you are able to, for example, write code for a long time, and make sure that your eyes are not being tortured? Maybe you have specific routine of exercises that you do every x minutes when using computer? Please, do share that information in this thread.

You can start by not using the computer for everything. Read a real newspaper, listen to songs on your phone or mp3 player and watch a real tv. Games like ingress offer you an incentive to leave the house and take in the fresh air. You should only use your computer for coding and other study/work related stuff.

I would love to watch all movies in cinema, read real newspapers and so on, but since I am a student, money is an issue for me, so I am kind of doomed to use my computer not only for work, but for media purposes too.

I am not entirely device independant. I can't think straight when I don't get the scores from the football matches! I also listen to music on my phone. And also other stuff like g+, chatting, etc. I use my computer just for playing Fifa 13

I think reading stuff on a screen is probably the worst idea. That's why I hate Ebooks. Also you could have better lighting environments. Draw those curtains and let some natural light in.

Well yeah we all have the dependance...some features of smart devices pull us closer...and that's fine.
It's just the growing numbers of anti-human contact types that have replaced existence in realtime with a cyber existence.

For me there is no greater pleasure than flipping pages in my favorites.

i use comp regularly... according my rule of min 3 hrs a day max 8 hrs. then watch tv for almost 3 hrs+.. all i got a bit darkness under eye and increased sensitivity to sun light. i cannot keep my eyes wide open in strong sunlight like other people i know can do...just get a properly sleep after using comp you wont have much problem

I use the computer an awful lot. (Photoshop as a job tends to require such.) I also watch most of my films on it. Reading I do from a book, my tablet or my phone. (I prefer a book, but as I read in English and live in Holland... Buying one from a shop takes about a month.) I also game. A lot.
Some background info: Dark circles under the eyes are a gathering of moisture and vat, usually caused by sleep deprivation, smoking, too many energy drinks, stress, vitamin shortage and/or allergic reactions.
Some general tips:
Sleep. That thing you're supossed to do for 6-8 hours a day. No, seriously. Try it.
Every 15-20 minutes, squeeze your eyes closed until you can feel the stress behind them fade.
Get up and do something else for a minute every once in a while. Get a cup of tea, visit the loo, grab a bite, have a smoke, doesn't matter.
Make sure the screen brightness isn't set too high. A full bright white screen can severely exhause your eyes. (and cause migraines.)
Make sure you get enough vitamin K, B6, B12, vitamin C and Iron.
Cold water/ice. All those expensive creams and all, nah. Pack some ice in a towel and put it on your (closed) eyes for about 5 minutes. Don't do this too often or too long, but it works well enough as a refresher.
Alternatively, black tea's teabag. Some old wive's remedy; just make a cuppa and put the bags on the skin below your eyes (ovbiously don't burn yourself...but they do have to be hot) You will look like a bit of a dork doing this.
