Hi all,
I have Q: i want to use the telephone AND my Bt streaming audio in my car.
Once i had a Bt version which handeled the two at the samen time.
Now i use a Bt version that can handle only one: or telephone port open, or streaming audio.
Who can help me with a bluetooth version which can handle two tasks at the same time.
TIa greets from Holland.

Hi folks!
Is there some kind of step by step manual how to get to a working solution for the well known BlueAngel Problem with it's headset connections?
I found a thread talking about some registry tweaks, but that only enables the menu option to send the sounds to the headset, but finally doesn't produce any sounds...
What I want to have is the instructions, given by the Navigon Mobile Navigator 5 beeing transferred to a bluetooth device (a parrot free speach device or a logitech headset).
I am already running ROM 1.4 and tried all various BT versions, but nothing worked..
Thanks for your help,
Balu
err.. I am looking for using bluetooth headset to listen mp3 as well, any help and suggestions?
im trying to figure out how to do that aswell, (listen to media player using bluetooth on my SVP m2000)
me too is there any idea pls
same
You can listen mp3s if your headset supports advanced audio distribution profile and you have PDA2K_BroadcomCorp_BTUpdate.cab installed. But if your "advanced" headset does not support old profiles - you would not be able to use it to listen phone calls.
You CANNOT listen MP3s on normal headsets that support headset and hansdfree profiles. To use these headsets you have to sell PDA2K and buy PDA2.

Can you please provide the list of BT headsets (with make / model numbers) that supports this "advanced audio distribution profile"
ht820 does the job!
I have Motorola HT820 on Orange M2000.
The HT820 supports Hands-Free and High Quality Audio profiles and you can playback audio in stereo via the headphones.
I upgraded the BT stack to 3900 and radio to 1.13 and added the extra profiles (instructions are in the Wiki), and it appears to work as both .
When the phone rings, WMP pauses and the left headset button answers the phone. Once you finish the call and hang up, WMP starts playback again.
The only problem that I still have is with intermittent dropout of the High Quality Audio. Anyone got any clues on curing this?
Got mine for around £60 UK sterling.
Is this an hardware limitation? Is this a ROM limitation? BT stack problem?
GSM phone preempting BT handfree?
If not HW, can we expect an upcoming solution to this?
Or, the only "hard" workaround is to plug a BT adapter (like Jabra A210) to redirect mike/spkr, and to desactivate BA BT.
Christmas tree, like.

Registry
Hi again.
So, we didn't really find a solution yet?
I once read something about a little change to the registry, so that a second profile for the normal BT Headset appears.
I searched but I can't find it again.
does anyone know which post I mean?
If so, can you give me a link to that, because I believe that is the right way to solve the problem...
the key is if your source (pda or notebook) is running BT audio gateway. centrino notebooks supports audio gateway. I have a Jabra BT800 and listens to MP3s played from an HP DV1000 notebook but cannot have it working through my XDA II mini (the latter does not support BT audio gateway)

I've in my car a radio with BT handfree.
Diamond work perfect with him but only for calling.
The connection is forever active but if i start tomtom the voice of this is in the phone and not in the radio.
If i receive a call tomtom don't speak but i can talk using the radio handfree.
I want listen the tomtom not in the phone ! I want listen it in the radio handfree BT.
Is't possible ?
With a nokia ck-7W handsfree-kit it ist the same problem. Use google for "Bluetooth Audio Router", it is a nice small Tool to get all sounds including the tomtom-voice on a bluetooth headset oder handsfree-kit.
I buy it on pocketland.de for ca. 6€ (~9$).

Try Diamond Tweak 0.5, there is an option under Bluetooth setting to use Audio Gateway or something like that think thats pushes the sound over BT. Haven't tested myself either but worth ago instead of buying some crappy accessory
I had the same problem. The problem is that most BT handsets only use limited BT profiles. The TD uses A2DP for most sounds, which is not supported by many handsets.
The answer I found was BTmusic, a little app that works fine. I now have TT directions and warnings coming over my audio system automatically.
BT music ? Sure ?

Yep ... as I say it works for me and I can get TT's directions and warnings fine using my Parrot BT handsfree phone kit.
dears,
i have a new car with integrated audio car and bluetooth function. fortunatly the audio car only permit me to make phone calls but no possible to hear music from my diamond over bluetooth. Do you believe there is some way to hear music to stream over the hand free like if i am receiving a phone calls ?
best regards
steph
It depends on the type of bluetooth profile that the car uses.
To use it for music, it would need to be A2DP.
With your bluetooth on, try going to the settings screen in touch flo and click Menu > Bluetooth Devices.
Click and hold on the device in the list that is your car. If you have the option to "Set as Wireless Stereo", the car has the A2DP profile. If not, you're SOL.

Hello everyone,
I can pair my car's bluetooth and Diamond flawlessly... However I am also wondering if it is possible to use the car speakers as output in order to listen to mp3s in my phone... ofcourse via bluetooth...
I know that people can listen to music via their bluetooth dongles on the ear. From which menu or program should i also try for the car?
Thanks in adv.
if the bluetooth in your car support ad2p then it's just a question about bonding them and choosing stereo headset on the phone
but if your car don't there is no way
Thanks, unfortunetely there's not such a function (as far as I checked on the web)
Hi!
Looking for a FM Radio, what will let listen with stereo Bluetooth headset. Of course Samsung Galaxy S will need the 3.5 mm cable plugged in to radio work, but this stock radio version will not let you listen it from BT headset.
I wasted time searching from Android Market. Most of hits was streamers or players etc. Not simple FM Radio and a button: turn on Bluetooth.
Help me find a one or say that you can hack stock radio or do your own version. I start waiting and trust your support.
Not sure if you'll have much luck with that one.
Alternatively, have you tried something like BTmono? Theoretically it routes all audio from the phone to the bluetooth headset, although I'm not sure how it will cope with the stereo (2 ear pieces?).
BTMono tested - feedback
Thanx for your hint! Tested BTMono app. It did something, but the voice was only signal noise or just silent.
I tryed different way: starting app, starting BTMono, other way around, connecting BT after and before, and booting..
But I noticed just now that my WLAN (Wi-Fi as you call it wrong) was all the time on.
I do not know if the same chip work with FM Radio and Bluetooth and cannot work with both mode in same time. Please answer me, so that I stop living in wonderland with this problem, if so.
Maybe this BTMono was from the first wrong app for me, becouse there in description was talking about Skype using or after call answering. My Skype works fine with my BT-headset and nothing problems to answer phone calls and music continue playing after call. Only problem is I cannot listen FM Radio..
I was stupid and didn't tell my devices:
Samsung Galasy S (Gingerbread 2.3.3, stock firmware)
Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-505 (v2.1 + EDR with HFP/HSP/A2DP/AVRCP)
