my omnia is running on the lastest rom / hopefully
just a couple of questions are open:
1. the taskmanager (like i know from the htc touch) is missing - how i can close programs ?
2. in the aut startmenu are following files:
- alarmwatcher
- bluetoothmanager
- datakeeper
- delete_ro
- LargeDisplayStart
- poutlook
- RilBubble
- services
- SipListener
- SuperStarter.exe
- TimeWizard
what they are for ?
which i can delete ?
how i can deactivate if i want to connect in internet that my mobile open a pay connection over my mobile provider ?

Just looked at the MDA and the ROM is 1.8.x.x WWE but radio is 01.09.xx. Also looked at the extended ROM and the attachment shows what was included:

Can you post the extended rom to the FTP site.
It looks as though they have the updated Comm Manager template. The one that will allow you to turn the phone on/off. This is missing fromt the QTEK...
Yes, the COMM MGR is the one which is more useful than the version came with the 9100.
I have the qtek 9100 running on 2.8 rom in the US with TMo. I use the unlimited vpn account and the unlimited msging. I have never been able to get mms to work, are any of these ext rom cab files ones that would set that up? if so, can they be uploaded here?
I configured my 9100 from scratch and it works (have unlimited but I use wap.voicestream.com AP), I also have the complete as-shipped US extended ROM here (approx 6M), but I don;t have a FTP to upload to, if someone wants to host it, just let me know.
I am using the vpn AP. Does it matter? Is MMS only working with the wap AP? if so, will I be able to use the vpn dial-up through it?
I can host the files if they cannot be posted on this site. I will send a PM with my address.
Files were zipped & sent, good luck. I believe the MMS conduit works off the WAP APN, you may want to add the WAP APN under connections and check auto detect and see if that helps.

Ok I am neb to this site .. But I have been on HOFO fince 03. . I am trying to download the Tmo rom and I cant for some reason,, it states that windows cannot access the folder and that i may not have permission to dl it.. am I doing something wrong...

Does anyone have the entire T-Mobile US ROM+Ext ROM? I've got a Cingular 8125 that I'm using with a T-mobile SIM and I'd like to just convert the whole thing as if it were the MDA.

The Java Virtual machine is missing from the T-Mobile load..... that bites - no google local!
I just bought my HTC Diamond today and have some few questions I thought you could help.
1) Where I change my Bluetooth name?
2) My device comes with ProjectDiamond Rom (i dont know the version but its based on 1.93). It means my device already had a HardSPL so I can easy update to any cooked rom?
3) There some way to prevents ActiveSync running?

No Calendar option on Today Screen
Nokser thanks for the rom. I have just installed on my XDA2 and i notice that their is no option to select Calendar for the Today Sceen view.
The only options are: date, Messaging and Device Lock. Could you please tell me what i have to do to be able to see this option.

Options for Calendar
When it comes to display a calendar in a Today screen, it can give you an entry in the register, but then you have to spread the ROM, because I do not like too much nawalone on your startup or in the registry editor for PPC ...

Calendar Entry
Hi Nokser,
I have manged to copy the link into the registry from another PDA and i now have the option to display the calendar on the today screen.
I have had to use serialusbfn.dll from another post to allow me to sync with Vista but this is an old file compared to the one used on your version and even this is a bit 'hit and miss'. Any ideas why the original serialusbfn.dll that ships with the rom locks the device when i connect via USB even if i do de-select the option in Settings\System\USB to PC?
I have to say that i have had this same problem on every WM 6.1 Rom i have tryed so it is not just your rom!
My initial thoughts are that this is a good, quick rom.

Use the HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe for ather90.
I've just spotted this over in the d&h section so thought I'd test it out on the kaiser and it works!
You'll need a good data connection, MS Voice Command installed (I've attached the one that always works for me on 6.1 or 6.5) - reset - and then install the cab - reset (works on storage card for me).
I'm just pointing this out to you all so no credit due to me and please post questions over in the thread!
