Loudspeaker Volume Toooooo Low | Help Neede - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

I have Purchased HTC Diamond a day before yesterday and I founded dat its loudspeaker volume is too, I can't even hear my ringtone in crowded place....
I have used "AudioPara3_full_boost" it increased my diamond's volume, but it is still not so louder to hear my ringtone in my working place.....
Help Needed......

I don't think its a software problem, the speaker itself is probably just crap. Also the cover blocks some of the sound.

ppl are complaining that the "boost" is too loud for u it is not enough?
maybe you should change yr working place

Same Here, I Think We r facing hardware problem..

It is hardware problem. In fact i used a audiopara3 boosted. I get louder sound everywhere and with the speaker too. The problem is that when i pushed the volume to max I damaged my speaker so now when i receive call the caller voice has distortion cause the speaker is damaged so be careful and keep in mind the volume is so low because the hardware doesn't follow

I have troubles with speaker on XDA Diamond

Okay guys, hello to all!
I have the same problem as SergeyBE told here:2-3 month ago I got installed "IncreaseVol.cab", it's was better sound during the call, but twoo weeks ago it's beginning rattling and noising. Now I can hear just durring the call just if I push the button "Speaker", if I play mp3, it's sounds like it have to be.
So my speaker (which one when I listening to someone during the call) so it blowed up Yeah, there is noise and really bad bad sound But that speaker which is for when phone is ringing or listening to the music works fine after the boost! Now my phone is repairing but I want to increase a ring volume and volume when listening to the music (or watching video) without increasing volume parametres for the speaker which is working during the call!
So can anyone help me here? Does anybody here have original audiopara3 file with increased only Ring volume and Multimedia volume? or can somebody here make it for me? thanks a lot in advance
so nobody here can help me?!!
really maybe you know what parameters do I need to change for boosting only ring speaker?
I think i have the same problem. After playing with some roms, especially the udk syrius HD rom (beta 4 and 5) wich boost the volume - i now have troubles with the speaker during a phone call.
The strange thing is:
- they hear me fine; so the mic is not the problem.
- if i use a bluetooth carkit, the reception is fine. No noise in the call.
- if i play music or watch youtube, the speakers are fine.
- but if i make a call, i get noise to a terrible extend that i can hardly understand what the other site is talking about.
yeah the same and I had - so you need only to change the speaker
but I don't now what to do now - I don;t want to blow my speaker again, so I wanna just an audiopara3 file to boost ring volume and that is all
If you are talking about German O2 Xda Daimond (like mine), I had the same problem after month of usage - my speaker first started cracking and then sound disappered at all. I got it fixed under warranty, they replaced it. Looks like it is some sort of hardware flaw.
so after this case you have changed again your audiopara3 file and now the sound is boosted yeah? during the call and when the phone rings?
I called HTC and they said it needs repair. By now the speaker looks totally broken.
Nice thing is that UPS picked up the phone at my house.
what is UPS?

United Parcel Service
easy... highly modded audiopara3.cvs can broke (partially) the small speaker membrane... it's not a issue of the modded file itself... but the membrane is very thin so a too high volume can make damages on long run
okay so how I know there is 2 speakers in Diamond - 1. External - for listening to the music, watching videos, when the phone rings
2. Internal, when you are listening to somebody during the call
so I want to know how to increase in audiopara3 parametres only for increasing external speaker, when the phone rings
is it possible?

Galaxy Ace In call volume

Hey all
Been looking for at least a couple of weeks how to boost the incall volume especially on the hands free speaker of the samsung galaxy ace.
Finally figured it out and thought to share it here just in case people are trying to do the same!
on CM7 7.2.0 RC3 here so not sure if it works on other ROMs.
on the service menu (accessed with *#*#197328640#*#*)
For incall volume boost on headset:
[5]Audio
[1]Handset
[2]Rx Value
[1]Rx Codec/Volume
[1]Rx Codec Gain - click on this and input FFFF which is 12db. (I guess you can try different settings-but this worked for me)
For incall volume boost on the speaker (which bugged me for a while )
[5]Audio
[3]Speaker
[7]MP3/Not Mp3 Mode (so that on top of menu says Mp3 Speaker)
[2]Rx Value
[1]Rx Codec/Volume
[1]Rx Codec Gain - click on this and input FFFF which is 12db.
I can hear the other person on the phone now when im driving and I have em on speaker, maybe you can get it even louder, but Im a bit worried ill fry the speaker!

why won't you just install volume +? it's much easier and safer.. just a thought tho..
i did try the volume +
it seemed to only boost the music player volume.
the incall setting function didnt do anything
Works well!!
Can i also increase the Headset MP3 value so that my music through Headphones is louder?? I'm not trying it because i don't know if it will cause any harm..
ill try this thanks
the speaker volume doesnt seem to be much louder. it worked well for the handset and headset.
Any ideas?

Try this
Go to settings > call settings > set equalizer to bright , disable voice enhancement.
and then hear the in call volume, u will be surprised
PS. After disabling the mic noise suppression, mic quality increases.

It's a little late to ask this but, could you solve your low call volume problem?
I have the same low volume trouble with my Xperia Go while making phone calls. The phone is good and still operable after years but i always had call problems. The in-call volume is too low, i can't hear the person clearly especially in noisy places. We used Sony Ericsson K750, w800 phones in the past and they also had low volume in calls. And i see that there are still some Sony users which complain about this same problem like us.
If you solved this issue, could you please let me know?
Thanks in advance. :good:
I don't know what XZ you guys have, but mine is too loud and I didn't do anything to it related to sound. In fact I'm quite annoyed that the phone is too loud when I have a conversation, thus everyone around me being able to hear. I always have to lower the volume to the minimum and it's still too damn loud.
Is there anything that can lower the volume, not make it go up??
I've even disabled the MusicFX and Audio Settings but it's still too loud..

Really?
I almost thougt that it was a Sony characteristic, to limit the volume to some certain level which is low, when compared to other brands (maybe for avoiding to damage the ears?). When i search the web with "sony xperia low call volume" parameters, i see there are lots of complaints about different phones from Sony (NOT just XperiaZ).
Do we have faulty phones, or do you have really sensitive ears? Can you please compare the sound level with different brand phones also?

mine is XZ C6603 and in-call volume is average. not too low or too loud (using bright equalizer on call setting)
have you try to re flash stock firmware? if yes, maybe you have faulty phone

In Call Volume very low?

Just got the Z3 Compact from eBay. Brand new D5803 on AT &T. Notice very, very low call volume. Anyone else notice? Any Apps that can help increase volume? I searched but don't see any other posts about this.
Thanks all.
I've found the in call volume outstanding. But speakerphone vol is poor. UK spec. Anyway to boost speakerphone vol?
Thanks techguyone! I realized I had a bad screen protector blocking a portion of the speaker...I will test the external speaker and see if I can find any info or apps that help increase external speaker volume. Thanks again for your reply

Were you able to solve the incall volume issue. I have the same phone and the incall volume is so low, it is absurd. I talked to support and they gave me instructions to reinstall the operating syustem. It was a wast of time as the incall volume is still the same.

Faulty phone? I'm on .77 firmware and sometimes the incall volume is so loud, that my ears bleed

Low incall volume

Hi guys. Please help. My Z3C volume during calls is quite low. I'm working in high volume places and sometimes its a big problem for me. The volume during the call is very average. Stereo speakers in mp3 are ok. I try to boost volume in volume + and other boosters but its not working. Boosters are only for mp3 no for call volume.
I looked everywhere in web but nothing special. Is there any mod or someting to increase that ? There are no audio codes like in samsung phones. Hope u find some solution. It's really annoying for me. Sorry for my English!
