New SMS

If you received a new sms it will show you the message on your screen. I know you can disable but how?
Go to:
Settings -> Sounds&Notifications -> Notifications (Tab)-> Select "Messaging:New text message <-- and now you can uncheck the box "Display message on screen"
Off topic.

Calendar bubble!!!

Hello people,
I am using HTC Diamond calender and earlier a message bubble is shown with sound for each calender alert.
Today however, I get only sound alert and Bell icon on top next to start. How do I enable the bubble message showing appointment automatically again?
Sounds and Notifications > Notifications > Reminders > tick show message.

no sound when receiving messages

Solutions???
Emails or text messages? I get sounds when I receive a text but not for emails. I haven't looked yet but I'm guessing there's an option to setup a sound for that event.
text messages
Make sure you got sounds and notifications turned on.
Settings > Sound > Advanced (soft key) > Sound tab
I got the programs and Notifications boxes ticked.
Under Notifications Tab choose from the event drop down list and choose Messaging: New Text Message. Tick the box that says Play Sound then choose something you want.
That should sort you out
hard reset solve everything

pop-up messages lost!!!

Hello, Im using win moblie 6.1 on my diamond. It suddenly stopped showing the pop-up messages. For example the alarm rings but I can't see the pop-up message that allows me to dismiss it!!! [I installed MTP [manila today plugin] before this happened, but it worked OK for a few days so I don't think it is the problem. Any suggestions to bring pop-ups back???
start > settings > sounds & notification > notifications >
go to event > select reminders > tick display message on screen
Thanks a lot my friend!!! You ROCK!!! it works fine and I also found the other notifications that were gone!!Thank you.

[Q] Text notifications showing as "unread messages" on pull-down display

After upgrading to Lollipop just 2 days ago, my SMS notifications on the pull-down display no longer show the actual text message, but instead show "# unread messages" (# indicates unread count). It was nice having the message preview so I could see if the text was important or not.
I have made Message+ a priority notification app. Not sure what else I can do I didn't find any options in the Message+ settings menu. Anyone have any suggestions or a fix?
HELP
I am having this same issue. I have tried everything.
Settings > Sound & Notification, scroll to Notification > When device is locked, tap and select "Show all notification content".
